Toro-n☆Hobun-san Comics Series

As requested by Truner, I have created a template parodying a series of comics and a small online animated adaptation (a parody of the Suzumiya Haruhi Series), this one starring the (mis)adventures of Tron and a Servbot/Kobun (for convenience's sake, called "Hobun").

To encourage its spread, I am providing these templates, so anyone can make their own; editing the images themselves to fit a joke is not a problem, so it is pretty much anything-goes. Note that the 'jokes' theselves are subjective to actual humor, but primarily revolve the Hobun (in this case) being the butt of a joke or another person's dull remarks.

I love the 4koma parody. The servbot looked so cute and I love Tron's expression as well.

This.... is both awesome and horrifying. Seeing Tron with slits instead of eyes always... scares me. On the bright side, I'll be sure to exploit this template for all it's worth!

Produced a few...it's a bit like MCC, but strikes me a LOT like 'Okayface' rage comics. I decided to take a more..dark approach to half of them. It's fun...I'll definitely do more in the future. Any possibility of getting more panels to play with? And what will become of all of the contributions?

If fAB molded Chiz' MCC Entries to fit the situation more attractively upon request, then Chiz would definitely be bagging 1st point prizes.

Truner really wants to revive this, so I dug through my files and found 5 strips I had previously done, but hadn't posted; I have come up with a 6th ('Neglected') to add to this. I have no immediate intentions to make more, however.

@ Chiz: That's really snarky of Tron there.

And as for Konami pirates, I think that Kobun would be a fan of Parodius for their giant "CAT PIRATE SHIPS" and ridiculously huge exotic dancers that take up over half the screen (seriously, try this game. I am not making any of this up).

@ Truner: In the newer games of the SRW Series, saving the game and then quitting would show one of many random conversations by one or several in-game characters, usually full of jokes and fourth-wall breaking commentary.

Should RMD have such an option before Tron appears in-game, I do imagine it going something like that comic, early name revelation and all.

@ GreenPow: It's the "Lion and their cubs" ritual all over again.

Thanks to Chiz, Truner, and GreenPow for their take on the comic template. I like these, and think they deserve more exposure (and thus making it spread, because it amuses me).


Edit: As suggested by Chiz; though I am not certain when they'll actually happen, I will consider making more panel variations for everyone to play with.

Having thought about it for a while, I would personally prefer to archive these parody comics as its own project and thus, its own web domain.

I don't have any particular plans laid out for the site yet, but I don't think the initial setup would be very complex.
