Yeah so, for the last 2 years or so, I've been fantasizing about Kattelox. I started writing my own book, I find myself daydreaming about it during school, writing "Kattelox" all over my arms with pen, I'm more or less obsesed with it.
Imaging living there. Minus the Pirates. Kattelox is so perfect... so peaceful. The people are so laid back, but caring. The music is so soothing. it's just perfect.
Anyway, I've been thinking about it. What if I baught my own island and built Kattelox on it, or chipped in with a bunch of other people. Only a few people, around 100 on there. Keep it just like in the game, but minus the ruins. some islands cost about 50,000 and that might be possible... but then you'd have to worry about actually building on it.
I dont know, im kind of just typing to myself here, i know this will never happen but, oh well.

Well, first you'd need to find an island that looks like a Ninja Star, with an M on it's side.

Heh. You pretty much described my exact thoughts about the game my first time through, kattleox. DASH, by definition, is set in peace times. That added to the small-town nature of Kattleox, makes it quite the endearing little place, I must say. Everybody knows everybody, you meet everybody, everybody knows you. It's like Cheers. ;D Or, dare I say, it's like this place. Kattleox, you might enjoy this topic.

PITCH... WHAT... what is this??! !?!? I GO TO SCHOOL ABOUT 1 BLOCK AWAY FROM OLD CITY ON THIS MAP!!! thats exciting and all, but i walk by it everyday, and its nothing like kattelox... Philadelphia has the most ignorant people ever. I'll have to go to pitsburg, no time soon though, im still only 15... I still would like to pitch in with a bunch of people, and buy and island... i was thinkin off the cost of maine... ha, anyone interested? haha I would so easily get up from everything I have and know, and go to a place called kattelox, without thinking twice.

Yeah, problem is, you don't find Kattleox; Kattleox finds you. All a game of the mind. Just think, if the Flutter hadn't broken down, they never would've crash-landed there. *nod*
I'm so delightfully broke I can't even think about co-purchasing an island. >.<

I've thought about what it might be like to live there...and I think it would be cool. Too bad I'm mixing fantasy with reality again.
Shopping Mall: That apple market will not do...sure I would be entertained for hours kicking the same yellow can into the bakery for money, but then I would turn evil.
School: Guys, where's the school? Was there one? >.< Who needs school when you're training to become a digger?
Old City: One of the best parts of the island. Playing hide and seek with crazy dogs is bound to be fun.
Where would I live? Uptown or Downtown...or could I be a hippie in the forest....anyway, the station mods from here could be the police, and the mayor? *cough*me*cough* that's undecided. I've thought way to much about this. But if I had the chance I would become a pirate.

Buy an island eh? Well, you’ve come at a rather bad time. A century and a quarter ago, you could have had one of the Hawaiian Islands for a few thousand dollars. An interesting idea, but entirely impossible. You’d need to purchase an island, landscape in the correct topography, pay to have several small cities and huge ruins built on it, get a bunch of Legend boats for the harbor, found such things as the KTOX, pay someone to go down and pretend to be Juno in case someone finds the center of the ruins, etc. It would cost billions, if not trillions. Unless you’re some kind of stock market tycoon, you will never be able to get that kind of cash together. Even if a bunch of rich guys chipped in, you’d probably only be able to build a dilute version of it. Then there’s the problem with maintaining the economy, political issues that may arise, staging pirate attacks without getting anyone killed... Even if you had the money, it would be a lot of work for you, while other people would reap the benefits. And if it ever does work out, the problem of overpopulation and tourism arises. The island, as I recall, doesn’t have an airport. Just a seaport... And it would be much more crowded then little old Wily’s small-time gig. Now, them blokes in the game had it easy. The island already came with ruins, pirates, Juno, and the clover shape with the lake on the side. All they needed to do was build a city and elect a mayor, and since the general population of the world was much less and tourism wasn’t a major interest, probably due to the limited modes of transportation, they didn’t need to worry about such things as overpopulation. Not to mention the fact that none of them seem to need to eat or sleep. Now, if you can find me a group of people like that, I can find you an island waiting for them to live on it.

We can always dream.. or roleplay. The blokes in the game were more 'an likely set up there by the System. Sure they advanced quite a bit(taking into consideration there's an Old City and whatnot), but they pretty much had it all handed to 'em. Of course they'd be needlessly wiped out every so often so the only ones who really got a great deal - till Trigger showed up - are those who left the island, and then... well yeah, no island. >.< It's a paradox of some sort. Though I suppose at least a few generations made it before Juno unleashed... whatever that thing was on them. ...and Juno probably remained sleeping for the duration from the end of Trigger's first stand against the system till Trigger awakened him.. come to think of it though, do you think Juno remembered? The painting shows the two of them battling...

Last summer I actually went on vacation to an island that seemed to me to be very similar to Kattelox. It had a shopping center, a city hall, a police station, a museum, a bank, nice houses in the north, decent houses in the south, and even ruins (not to mention forests and stuff). There was even a dock where you could take boats out and a guy who looked a lot like Barrel Caskett (but without the metal on his head). I found myself humming the Apple Market theme every time I walked (yes, WALKED) into the center of town. And there was a junk shop, and all sorts of neat stuff to do. Of course, everything was way overpriced. But unfortunately there were no reaverbots, pirates, or airships, and I didn't get a digger's license during my stay.

But were the people like the Kattelox people? (nice, caring, laid back, everyone knows everyone, happy)? because without them, its not kattelox... Oh, and what were the ruins like?
Or... until I find "kattelox" what if someone makes an online version for mml for the comp? Or is there already one? I'm sure this would keep me occupied enough till I found Kattelox.

(again, try that Modify button instead of double posting) MMLEx will have online play, but not the kind you're thinking of I bet(not MMO-style). I don't wanna say anything that's not true, so ask one of the staffers for more info. Gee, Dashe, that's pretty incredible... got any pictures? XD Speaking of Digging licences, I was gunna sprite an S Licence, based off the ones in MegaMan Legends 1, but the "Sprites" on this site are waaaaay too anti-aliased. >.< ...I haven't sprited in so long...

The island was somewhere off the coast of upstate New York, somehow the name eludes me at the moment. It isn't exactly a tourist attraction though. All the residents own houses there, and I was visiting some relatives. My mom and sister are both currently hoarding all the pictures back at my house -_- . My sister's actually the one with all the pictures that would interest you...the museum, city hall, police station, etc. She said the town reminded her of Animal Crossing.
The people there were really nice, even though despite all my chatting with the junk store owner, I still never got a mine parts kit. And yes, they did all know each other. The ruins were just that. A bunch of ruined old fortifications. If I'd had more time to explore them, maybe I'd have found some treasure...

Even so, you might not be able to make an exact repilca of Kattleox. Imagine just making your own little island based on the World of megaman legends though. Ruins built everywhere, a general city. Some robo scientist accually who makes reaverbots, which yes, can hurt you. And living there. I would be a pirate, id build my own robots and steal all your zenny. Of course zenny would complicate things. We would have to make millions of refractors of all types lol. If i kill a reaverbot, i dont want to see a damned dollar bill fall outta it. You could hire a mayor, have a police force, and do everyting you could do in megaman legends. It would just take lots and lots and lots of time.
