I decided to make this thread after I nearly broke my thumb from listening to a friend of mine pronouncing "Wrong" with a hard G.
Everyone has a Pet Peeve of some sort. Why not share yours with everyone else?
I'll start us off. Like I mentioned earlier, one of my PP's is when a person pronounces "Wrong" as "WronGUH". It just boils my blood.
(Please note that this thread is for Pet Peeves ONLY. If you have a complaint about anything site/member related, please use the appropriate board.)

When people start becoming paranoid and think everyone is conspiring against them. Seriously, we aren't important enough for people to start planning stuff against us. Not every bad thing is part of a conspiracy to destroy us or something that we like.

The people who just do NOTHING but annoy the hell out of people in class. And not just in school, but at home as well. Like they got some sort of tick or OCD or just love aggravating the CRAP out of people.
Edited cause almost let people see a slip of a word.

People who pick on others because of their likes and dislikes. I will honestly break my own barrier of calm and beat the living daylights out of anyone who slanders MegaMan. That is, considering if I can find them and get a grip on their sorry necks.

I have too many pet peeves to discuss here. My biggest one tends to be the act of hazing, giving new people at jobs a hard time because they're new and thus get some unfavorable treatment. I can't stand the people who put others through that sort of thing; if you were a true professional you wouldn't pull stupid pranks like that and waste everyone's time.

Above all else, I'd say my top two are when people take too long to get to the point, and when people intentionally butcher a language in which they're fluent (or close to it) and cite laziness as the reason. It's even more annoying when done in the Impact font. Yes LOLcats, I'm looking at you.

I'm usualy a very cheerful guy, but I do have my pet peeves. I think I'll itemize mine. 1: Tweenwave music. Good god that noise drives me up a freaking wall! It all sounds like a teenage girl being tortured in a studio somwhere whie a sadistic music producer applies autotune to it and plays a keytar to try and add a melody. And that's just the guys! I swear the kids who get into that crap must be partialy deaf until they turn 18 because I can't imagine how anybody can withstand that racket without getting a migrane halfway through. I also notice that tweenwave music uses constantly recycled lyrics, (much like emo music wich I also can't stand,) words that end in the letter Y end in "ay", and the more they say (or rather scream) the word "anything", the whinier they sound. To the point where sylobols go missing and it sounds like "ayyyying". These kids need a dictionary. 2: Hype behind bad people. Weather it's treating untalented whiny divas like Taylor Swift, Kate Gossling or Jennifer Aniston like goddesses, giving any cred to major douchebags like The Situation, Spencer Pratt the Kardashians, or any other reality ho, or worshiping any crazy blowhard a-hole like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, any and all hacker-groups, or Peter Popof, it's annoying and it should just stop. These people have so very little to no talent whatsoever, are wrong 50 to 99% of the time, they treat even their best friends and lovers like accesories and utter crap, think slandering people is funny or righteous, and are constantly doing stupid crap for fame even if it's all the wrong attention. 3:Trolls/cyberbullies. There are at least 100 better ways you can spend your time on the internet. Insulting, harassing, hate-blogging, or stalking random people you have never met before, who weren't doing anything wrong or anything to you, is not one of them. If you don't like someone, let it be. (wich might sound weird given what I just said about overrated celebrities. ) 4:Arguments. It's just a buzzkill. 5: The "look at me!" joke. This has to be my top pet peeve of all. As an aspiring impersonator myself, this drives me up a wall due to inaccuracy and overuse. Whenever somebody goes "look at me! I'm (insert name or insult here,) and I'm (insert uninventive occupation or faliure here,)!" you do not know how much that ticks me off. Especialy when they add "Oooh!" or more "look at me!"s before they start the bad joke. It's unfunny, unorigional, inaccurate, (unless you're quoting a troll or bad comic who said that,) and it brings most or every conversation or argument to a screeching halt. Of all the desperation jokes you can pull, it's the worst and most annoying.

My biggest pet peeve would have to be chain mails, especially ones where they say that something bad will happen to you if you didn't send to a certain number of people.

My pigest pet peeve at the moment has to be stereotyping. I don't understand why people have to always bring their foot crushing down on someone else. I understand if it's yourself that you're saying it about (for example: calling myself a nerd). I met a girl whom a lot of people call emo, goth, depressing, etc. But I didn't see that when I met her. Yea she may dress dark, have the "emo" hair cut thing, etc. but I don't see her as such. She's really a smart, bright, young woman with a future ahead of her. It's just the things that she likes that brought her to where she is. But I still don't know why people have to label other people. So to this day I refuse to use any stereotypical words unless it's with myself. Otherwise I will snap and tell someone to just shut up and quit with stereotyping someone else. It's not right, it just isn't.

black Frost: Personally, I've never come across a person that behaves like that, so I can't really relate. Anima: I HATE those people. Especially when they do it in a language class (e.g. French). @runner: It's particularly horrible when they do it while they're eating meat. Ugh. @bowen: Yes! Pummel all of those haters into a fine paste! @templar: Hating on the new guy is never justified. That's like badmouthing a twelve year old just because he was born before you. Dashe: r u srs? u su- Ugh. I can't do that stuff. It kills me inside. @orion: Too many Peeves. Sorry man. @steffie(?): I always felt that chain-mail was just something created by a nefarious evil-genius, to prey upon people's insecurity. @dregge: Judging people by a stereotypical appearance is the worst. I know plenty of people that wear dark clothes, yet their personalities are much more colourful than most 'normal' people.

People that can't let things go. A person in my class can't shut up (because he doesn't), proceeds to making your life hell for an entire week if he even THINKS you're trying to argue against him. Which most people do, because he is loud and annoying(ignoring him is something even I can't ignore, and I'm pretty good at it).
In fact I know several of other in my classes people that are the same way. There is just no way to make them stop!(although seeing them go at it with each other is VERY entertaining). Anyone who tries fight against these people always loses, mostly because they are the loudest and the most obnoxious.

I'm not a big fan of mean-spirited sarcasm myself. There's teasing, and then there's just being a jerk. Some people don't know how to walk that line at all.

One of my other pet peeves would have to be when visitors come during lunch/ dinner time and hint that they're hungry and want you to make food for them. Stuff that, why didn't they eat first before they come visit? Also, why come when you know people eat at a certain time of the day?

Stuff that, why didn't they eat first before they come visit? Also, why come when you know people eat at a certain time of the day? I know exactly what you mean! it always happens to me except it's sort of in verse! When ever one of my friends invites me over they're always eating. I always eat before i go out so i don't get hungry and i have to always sit awkwardly at their dinner table not eating while they all eat and keep offering me food. I feel like i'm offending them because i never eat their food.

I have another one that I forgot about. It's people that get certain words wrong that should be easy to get.
"Your/You're" is the most common mistake I always see as well as "it's (it is)/its (like his and hers), but I think I get more ticked when I see "paid/said/laid" spelled with a "yed" at the end. Yeah, there's a slightly irrational pet peeve of mine, but I kind of like the English language and all.
