The sharukurusu. Yup. I remember one time I entered the nope ruins and went in the nope room. Ran into three of them nopes.. so I attached my nope skates and got out of there.. haha.
More like dove for my power button on my play station as a kid. The closer ruins with the creepy music and the room. With the 3 just waiting. Ughhh the metal clattering of the feet and being the nature they are of just charging at you and nothing more. Whole bunch of nope

I'm sure everyone has said it before. BUT THE SHARUKARUSU. Everytime I hear the sound of their heavy, mechanical footfalls, the hair on the back of my neck stands on end.

I can't believe I didn't reply to this the first time! Having the hint book with me really took the edge off the Sharukurusu, I guess. It did, however, make that little hallway with the Arukoitan and the Rapid Fire buster upgrade a lot more horrifying than it had to be. The book highly recommended skipping the Rapid Fire, and the map showed that the layout was just this little extra piece of hall with two Arukoitan and a treasure chest. I'd never actually gone up against Arukoitan before and from the layout of the area and the enemy positioning on the map, it made them look a lot more intimidating than they should have looked...you'd expect them to guard a one-of-a-kind buster part with something tough, right? Heh. Please.

Arukoitans I also found a bit unsettling, simply for the fact that they were basically heads on legs. Plus, they moved rather fast too, which is something I always found creepy. inhumane creatures moving fast.

The unsettling part about Arukoitans, I thought, was the fact that if you destroy the Orudakoitan it's stuck in that one spot forever. It would really suck to be an Arukoitan, I'm sure. I'm not sure why whoever built the Reaverbots would build something so inefficient, since you hardly ever encounter an Arukoitan with an Orudakoitan that isn't RIGHT THERE for you to blow up.

Crepiest moments: #3. Those Godzilla-lookin' dog reaverbots. #2. Invisible Sharkers #1. Megaman Juno's first line. "Was it you who awoke me? It seems somewhat earlier than I had planned..."
Yeah, that was interesting. Anyway, definitely Sharukurusus were scary, but the scariest ones were the cloaking ones, but then it was even more terrifying when I saw the red kind. Those things are like 9 feet and 9000+ damage of Sharukurusu-ness.

I can't believe no ones mentioned it before but the Bruno fight scared the crap out of me the first time and still is always pretty tense. But that first time it blasts out of the building was crazy. He's so tall, so powerful, and partially invulnerable that you know its going to be a long, close fight. And the first time his laser orb blew up an old town build it made my young heart race.
