From what I have seen of their work, they make a good action adventure game so I think they would be perfect.

Mr. Matsuyama's twitter account A word to everyone who sends a message over Twitter - before DASH3 was announced, one ex-Capcom employee was harassed to anger and tears by the community. Let's NOT repeat this. Be respectful and don't pester.

I'm for this idea, if Capcom won't make, let these fans make it. The fact that they are making Asura's Wrath makes me very hopful. I think that we have a good shot at this, we just gotta show our support, as always! It's all we can do. Although if Asura's Wrath bombs we would be in the shitter, but ALOT of people are excited about this. We really need to spread this word to all of the other MML3 supporters so they can tell CC2 they want them to make it, and you know, so the people who plan on boycotting their game because of Capcom.

But yeah, let's not pester anyone... and Capcom's getting enough pestering via hate mails as it is.

Oh that would be so awesome if this company took over. Maybe we'd be able to get the game on an HD console too! that'd be sweeeet! And whats all the hubbub stuff about shooting down fellow Legend fans for sending hate mail anyway? I figure that ANY kind of mail Capcom gets is good mail since I doubt it will really hurt their feelings...well except for that ONE guy and the more letters they get show them just how much fans want the game. I say let them send what they want and don't give them a hard time about it. At least they're doing SOMETHING.

I don't believe I've ever played a game made by CyberConnect2. My brother played the first Ultimate Ninja game and seemed to like it. I was always under the impression that the .hack// games were not very good, a lot of them seem to have mixed reviews. Although I've never played any, so I'm not judging (there are tons of games out there that are reviewed as "bad" yet I ended up enjoying them). It seems like the CEO is a fan of Legends, which is a good thing. It would be even better if they could already use what the devteam made. I'm interesting in hearing more news about this possibility...

I've only played the Ultimate Ninja games, but from those alone, I know that CyberConnect2 will do a good job. I heard that they're big fans of Naruto, so if their fans of Legends as well, then they should make Legends 3 just as good if not better than Capcom.
One thing I really love about CC2's work is how breathtaking their cut-scenes are.
Keep in mind that these are all in-game cut-scenes. And the first video is footage of .hack//G.U., a PS2 game!

I think cyberconnect2 should definitely take over if Capcom doesn't change their mind, and they're a company that might not screw their fans over.

My gosh, and that's only cut scenes. I think Legends 3 deserves this. I say give it to CC2. Just keep the designs that capcom has developed so far.

I have probably mentioned it several times (and may not be the first) elsewhere:
Though I have yet to (re)play it, they did a very good job with a similar-feeling game back in the PSX days, namely "Tail Concerto". Despite its relatively lukewarm reception (on a population-basis), it has enough of a following to spawn a non-game incarnation known as "Mamoru-kun", a series of safety mascots.
And then 15 years later (October 2010), the successor "Solatorobo" was released. When playing it, I had plenty of "Rockman DASH" vibes from it despite its cartoon animal population (which actually made the game more enjoyable for various reasons).
Collectively, this series is known as the "Little Tail Bronx".
If CC2 pulled off a good-feel classic like this series in this day and age (ratings aside as it is irrelevant in this argument), I see lots of potential in them developing* RMD3.
* Cutscenes, if animated, could be outsourced to Madhouse in the same manner...?

Gawd, the Nauruto game looks so good. And I don't mean it looks like a good game, I mean it visually looks amazing. I can imagine Legends 3 looking like that. It would be beautiful :3 I will be sending a letter of support. Using this of course.

Since I had never heard of CyberConnect2 before, I had checked up on the games they had made via Youtube and I felt confident enough in saying that they're the right people for the job if they were ever given the project.

I looked over some of the games and I have to say that this company could do it. So I'm all for CC2 making MML3 if it comes to that.
