Yeah, that's old news now. Most of us think that if they didn't make their forums so difficult to figure out and make getting a Servbot less difficult, there would have been way more than just 15,000 servbots in the devroom. Chiz' avatar with the servbot from the recruitment video is also a clear reminder too: Remember this point in time of that old video? Yeah. Capcom of Europe's argument is invalid. They have to thing of something better.

Yep, I do realize that it's old news, but the update on what happened on their twitter account made my blood boil.

Capcom doesn't use a high level of intellegence sometimes. They said they wanted the fans to get more involved. Yeah, they were co-directing the game I thought?

C'mon you guys. Stop taking everything so personally. Capcom is not blaming you for the fact that there were only somewhere around 15,000 Servbots in the Devroom. But the numbers do matter. And 15,000 is not a lot. And as for “wanting the fans to make the game for them...” That is just really disrespectful to all the developers/artists/planners/whatever who put in loads more work than the fans these past ten months. (They were on our side. That's not cool.) Mikéy I think what that quote meant was that Capcom didn't necessarily demand that all Devroom members had to participate in every event. Not that the Devroom didn't need more members. Especially considering that the video was the Devroom recruitment video; its purpose was to attract members to the Devroom.

Wait, so they had removed a Tron cosplayer (while she was walking towards the booth with her friends) and no one may even mentioned Mega Man and they got kicked out? Plus, the accused would even get their badges confiscated as well?
I really hope that this is just a rumour.

@pitch Perhaps. I suppose the people who never were able to register for a servbot number, or those that didn't want any part of development process and instead just wanted the game/demo to be released are the "hang-backers". All of the Unity videos left over are just full of empty unfulfilled promises, so I guess there's no real reason to use that against them.
They need to stop relying so heavily on servbot numbers and look at how a typical kid (or that kid's parents parents, even!) would view the front case of the game when walking by it in a Gamestop. There's rarely ever any guarantees for one particular franchise, but they're too stingy to try and revive a perfectly preserved 10 year old series... and I'm pretty sure most of the has-been devroom people are in their teens at the least. Capcom doesn't have an open mind however you look at it.
@tom ...Well, it's like I said. They can't hide at Comic Con forever. It's completely obvious that they want nothing to do with any sign of Legends 3 right now, but sooner or later, they'll have to face it. Although, there's no evidence on how the cosplayer was behaving. We can only hope that there's no violence or disrespect, but beyond that...

Capcom Unity's Twitter is denying any claims that DASH fans or cosplayers are being removed from the premises at Comic Con. I believe them until someone posts evidence of this happening. Capcom_Unity says, “We welcome all cosplayers to our booth at Comic-Con. Anything else you've heard is outright false.” Mikéy I don't really have anything to add. I disagree with your thinking. Games don't just sell themselves -- even MegaMan games. Capcom's been learning that the hard way these past few years.

Yes, I asked them on their live stream and they pointed to that twitter page as well. They say that they allow cosplayers and people with signs. Given the nature of the source (4chan) I am more willing to accept Capcom's claims unless some more definitive proof is given.

Oh, that's good to hear that the Comic Con rumour happened to be just that: a rumour, especially after what CAPCOM Europe had done earlier.

If you want rumors, appearently Seth Killian got punched in the face by a MML fan.

Yeah, thank god that was a rumor...
The recent report on TMMN, which has numerous Twitter quotes, has one quote where CoE stated that the Prototype demo was in fact not finished.
And here I'm being constantly told that it was? <_<

And here I'm being constantly told that it was? <_< They probably just meant whatever modifications they were (supposedly) making to the Prototype during the delay weren't finished. That would be my guess.
