There's a giant Miroc in the Pokte caverns? Where?

Juno was a nightmare the first time I tried him... When I first played to him, the concept of running in a circle somewhat evaded me. Took me a good 30 tries to get past his first form (by a hair I might add), after which the large battle suit thoroughly tore me to ribbons. I can beat him like nothing now, on any level, but being the glutton for punishment that I am, I recently have been trying to see if I could beat him with no buster parts equipped and using no special weapons or items. That should tide me over until Legends 3... maybe 4...
If I remember correctly, I'm up to Nino ruins on very hard in Legends 2. Not that it's difficult, but I figure I'll stop while I'm ahead. Sera is going to massacre me when I get there. As for a giant Miroc, I can't say I recall anything like that, but then, Pokte ruins was an optional dungeon, wasn't it? If so, I don't expect to know about it.
As for bureaucratic models… Supposedly there's one on each island, correct? Or for a 'District', to conform to the term they love using so much. Yet, Juno is the only one to have been identified as one in any of the games. Considering that, I think it is very possible that Amelia was some sort of robot. Someone must have been gathering the data Juno used to determine the island's population. If not her, then perhaps some of the mayors of the other islands visited. The mayor of Manda Island seems like a good candidate. She looks rather young, yet she knows all these useless facts about bad music groups from decades ago. Not to mention she's also blonde, like Amelia. Seeing a pattern? And there was also that bartender on Calinca Island who supposedly 'found' Roll's dad after his memories were whipped out and he was ejected from Forbidden Island. Not to mention that, in both the position of mayor or a local bartender, you would be working with a lot of different people, no doubt learning about them over time. I think they all may just be working undercover to gather information for the units higher up. Furthermore, Mr. Idiot on Nino Island did have that little self-destruct thing set up to blow the whole place up (I despise him), right? Isn't that somewhat like the reinitializeation program that Juno had going with Eden on Kattelox, on a smaller scale? And there were those ruins hidden under the church at Calinca. Who would build a church over a place filled with dangerous, uncontrollable reaverbots? Either the whole thing is a conspiracy, or they all have some very bad contractors…

I've run into the Giant Miroc recently, myself. It appears at random, in one of the deepest rooms of the top floor. Unliek the little ones, it just runs around, and never tries to attack.
It drops enoguh Zenny to refinance The Flutter.

Ah, yes Juno was hard the first time. But I a gamer when I'm fighting a boss I usually study his/her tactics and his simulation. Once I memorize his attack patterns I strike and end his/her life. So Juno isn't that hard his attacks are easy to memorize just need to keep an eye out when dodging.

It drops enoguh Zenny to refinance The Flutter. When you first walk in you will see a treasure chest, a Gorubeshu, or a frog. If you see the chest, you are in the right direction. If you get a certain distance to it, it will begin to chse you around and try to jump at you, and it HURTS! It drops quite a bit of zenny when you kill it, which is why you walk out the door and back in, and keep killing it. I did this on very hard mode, and I did the 100-question quiz and maxed out the blade arm, the Buster Cannon, the Ground Crawler, and partially upgraded the shining laser.

Well I pretty much missed this entire conversation. My game time record was about half an hour i think. My Juno record is a total of 12 seconds, with my using shining laser and skipping the scenes as fast as i could.

Nah, I don't really have a problem with Juno. His attacks are about memorization. The only attack I have trouble dodging is Juno's first form laser attacks, when he goes on the ground and spins around. I try rolling, but still wind up getting hit. But no, he's pretty simple.

Yeah, those ones you're better off to just jump over. Like playing a deadly game of jump rope. ;D His other attacks are pretty easy to dodge. I just have trouble with when he jumps at you... that may be because I was using my keyboard as a controller... gotta love the PC version...

Well I pretty much missed this entire conversation. My game time record was about half an hour i think. I'm confused. You say your game time record is half an hour. You couldn't beat the sea battle three times over in half an hour, and thats 1 battle... I'm not calling you a liar I'm just saying I'm confused. Well I pretty much missed this entire conversation. My game time record was about half an hour i think. My Juno record is a total of 12 seconds, with my using shining laser and skipping the scenes as fast as i could. Okay now I AM calling you a liar, but whats a good thread without some hurtful accusations? I remember this thread! I had forgotten about the Mayor Amelia conspiracy theory... Alas, I tried to save it, but little did I know all it needed was time. I wonder if Juno will be hard in NXC... ? He doesn't look that hard, but only because the traditional screencap is of taking one to the head. I can hear him now... Thank you Megaman Trigger... I was contemplating having my bicentenial checkup early and now it looks like I shouldn't bother... I eagerly look forward to... my next... activation... and hope... it's long after... you... and... yours... have perished... from this earth... KaBoom! Man, NXC looks depressing.

Do they also worship the tulip gods that fly in from Russia during the rainy season as they prance about in swim trunks blessing all with their mighty wands of Pollen Power? Seriously, a Juno fan club? That sounds a few spores short of a moldy fruit if you ask me. Surely you jest? Something like that would just be wrong. What is even more wrong is that I’m happy at the prospect that such a thing could exist, since it means that people somewhere are actually showing interest in the series. Darn them, not giving us NamcoxCapcom...

Part of the reason why so many people find Juno so easy is the fact that he actually TELLS Trigger what attack he's about to use before he does it (most of the time), giving you a decent amount of time to react before he attacks. If you pay very close attention to his in-battle dialogue, you should be able to survive both fights with minimal, if any, damage. Granted, Juno's second form gives you a little less time to react than the first, and warns you less often, but still, it wasn't *that* hard.

That's true, he does give himself away. Not quite sure why they made him do that. Of course, I rarely play with the volume on - mind you, I usually play at like two or three in the morning, on school nights ^^; - so yeah, but that would make things easier, wouldn't it?
This talk of a Juno fan club... you couldn't be serious could you? Of course, that post is more than a couple months old, don't believe I've seen Kalking around here much, so we may never know...
