Juno looks like and reminds me of Xelloss from the Slayers. That is a good sign for Mister Juno. I still suck - I have to beat Juno with the shining laser or otherwise count on him to stomp, spit, and shove tobacco down my little Trigger guy's throat. Of course, you have to wonder where Juno got that tobacco to stuff me with. have you tried getting the Attack and Enerygy rating for your buster as high as they can go? And getting the armor that reduces damage by 3/4th? Having a max life bar and at least two uses of the energy can thingy helps too. Just constantly jump and circle around him a lot in both forms and keep shooting with your buster, he should fall fairly easily.

Thank you for the picture it was enlightening if not... entirely... what I... expected? I was thinking more of the pink haired, robotic-esque, *exy devil we all know and love. I do see a resemblance in the hair and face, but are his attacks on the same par? Eh...
And when I comes to beating Juno, it must be hard if you haven't master the joystick, especially not being able to use the auto aim, or, that is to say, being able to run and aim at the same time. Otherwise the only thing really necessary is a responsibly upgraded buster, good armor and technique.

Juno is like a classic NES boss, except in 3D.
Rotating attacks Powerful Easy to kill
All you have to do is memorize what to do when he attacks with a certain attack, it's really quite simple.
(Though this can't be said about Mr. X in Resident Evil 2, the second-to-last boss in Scenario B)

What about someone like me who only uses the Vacuum arm because he hates collecting rupees the reaverbots drop? I guess that shouldn't be necessary when walking down to the last guy, but as was said at the beginning of this whole thing Juno isn't that hard. My first time was hard, but now I know the moves like the back of my hand and it's just a good time.

Shining Laser's all-powerful, but no fun. Here's something fun(I bet this's been brought up, but whatever):
Lower all you Buster Stats Don't use Special weapons
Then see if you can beat him.
I've tried it, and I myself couldn't but at the time I was younger so I might be able to now if my copy was still in-tact.

I beat him without any buster upgrades.

Just wondering -- How long have you all been playing games?
The length of how long you play also determines your skill at games.

You're father had a NES? Was he young or 'Super cool'?
I had to sneak time on my brother's systems until I bought my own N64. but as per MML I wouldn't say that is necessarily true. Unlike a lot of games where its kill, kill, kill, MML gives you the chance to wander around aimlessly for hours, on races, saw/shovel/hammer hunts and oh so much more.
If you rush through it... that can be a measure of how good you are, but anybody who races through a game the first time they play it is either really hard core, or really wasting their life. Can I say that on a Video Gaming Forum?

You're father had a NES? Was he young or 'Super cool'? Haha, he was cool. We usedta play Super Mario Bros together when I was much younger. It was a lot of fun. I was never really that good at the games. I played a lotta games on the NES and I still do. I've played all 3 Super Mario Bros. games on NES, and a bunch of other games, such as Zelda, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(Awesome game!), Metal Gear, Metroid(though that was on my GBA in Zero Mission, but it qualifies as a NES game), and a slew of other games. I also grew up on the Genesis, and SNES, and of course the computer as well(my dad's obsession/hobby is computers). Naturally, with as much experience as I've had in other games, Juno was easy. Of course, I have no experience on newer consoles, so when Legends 3 comes out, it will be a challenge I hope.

Exactly right for me. (Except for the no experience on newer consoles)
Let's see.... From memory these are how many consoles I've owned.
3 NES (One at my house, two at my grandparent's) 2 Genesis (One at my house, one at grandparent's) 1 SMS (my house) 1 PSX (my house) 1 PS2 (my house) 5 PCs (Three at my house, (One of them is in my room right now, my first pc is in my barn, and the newest pc (2002) is the one I'm on!) Two at my grandparent's)
About 150 NES games, about 90 Genesis, probably 16 SMS, 50 PSX, about 17 PS2 games, and a crap-load of PC games --- At least 400.
To top that off, about 13 years of gaming experience.

You got me beat there. well, as far as consoles go I got... 3 NES 3 Genesis 1 SNES 1 N64 2 PSX At least one of every version of gameboy, except Pocket. Too many PCs to count... somewhere over 10 or maybe 20... As far as games go... Somewhere in the range of 20-30 NES 40-50 Genesis 10-20 SNES 4 N64 at most 20-30 PSX And a lotta stuff for computer too, but most of it I either bought cheap, or got free(freeware n' shareware), or a FEW games that I got illegally, just to test them before they came out. Anyway, this topic was about Juno, right? Anyway I handled Juno like any other boss with the run around and shoot, technique. Lately though I've been trying not to use that as much. Makes the game a lot more fun.

I guess that's true... Though I myself would consider discussing why Juno was hard or easy as being on topic, but yeah...
Okay, so... Juno was fun... The Main Gate was cool. I got chills the first time I got up to Juno and there was that sequence when he talks and stuff... Whew... It freaked me out! But I was like 11 at the time so a lotta stuff freaks me out.
