It kinda depends, did you save the statue or did you restored it by donating zennies to him? A friend of mine said that if Mega Man was bad or has a different skin color than what it was after you exit the ruins of that city, people will think that you are one of the pirates. I don't know, I'm just assuming. Maybe that's why? I don't exactly know, I'm stupid most of the time .

You kicked pigs? Oh yeah, I forgot that could make you bad Mega Man too. I think there is a way you can be back to normal or what it's called Saint Mega Man (I think that's waht it's called). All you have to do is donate like 100,000 zennies to the prisent of the Church, but you'lll need to save alot of zennies to become Saint Mega Man or Good Mega Man.

I'm pretty sure you have to donate 1,000,000 zennies to the church to get Megaman good again. And when his armor is really light the stores will have lower prices! =D

That's what I really like about being good Mega Man. You get discounts and I like it. The only that i hate is the license test. Man, those test are hard, especially when your going for the S license.

I like the original legends best. I think the addition of all the other pirates in MML2 (like Glyde and Bola and Claymoor) made the game seem more cluttered than the original, and I didn't like the special damage you got (like burns and paralysis). That was really annoying.

Hey there, Dashe! Welcome to the boards! ;D I agree with you about the status effects. Nothing worse than watching zenny disappear right before your eyes because you've been elecrocuted and cant move. And yeah, the pirates in ADDITION to the rest of the story about the system really did make for a cluttered game.

Well, I actually liked MML2 more than the first game. I wasn't looking at little things like status ailments. I mean, just about every RPG-type game has at least some ailments. There's very few games that don't.
And the addition of the pirates was actually a plus. If make me play the game a little faster because all these pirates are attacking some islands so MegaMan has to rush to get the keys before they do. Then, they all gang up in the end. I mean, you can't just blast the Bonnes for forever.

Thanks for the welcome! I feel so loved... Anyway, there was definite room for improvement in MML2...I didn't like Bola and Claymoor and Glyde because they didn't seem as dysfunctional as the Bonnes. I mean, they did have their moments, but none of them really had that "magic" the Bonnes did...and even the Bonnes didn't seem as up to par as they were in MML, mostly due to their lack of appearance.

I would've put it Claymoore and Bola or Glyde, but not both. It would've probably been just Glyde because he's in TMOTB.

That was really annoying. I actually think adding Gylde and the others was a good idea. As much as I love the Bonnes I needed more of a variety of bosses. The status things didn't bother me. I found it fun running around while MegaMan was on fire. =D

I don't know...it's funny watching Mega Man burn...until all your health is drained because you stood in lava in the first place just trying to pick up refractors, and then some reaverbot attacks you and you die!!! I don't know how many times THAT'S happened to me in the Saul Kada ruins... Special damage really does make the game a LOT more challenging.

I always thought the statuses were an improvement. I liked all of them except energy drain. They made the game more challenging, but energy drain was just an annoyance.

Well, I guess status effects could have been better with some tweaking. For me, I would step in the lava once and all my energy would drain... I guess it's because I couldn't afford to upgrade my life meter. Oh my goodness, that room in Saul Kada with the Missile Launcher Chickens was a nightmare!
Feldinaut: Don't fall into the lava, MegaMan! *MegaMan falls in the lava* Feldinaut: AAAAH!! Quick!! Stop, drop, and roll, MegaMan!! *MegaMan cools off, only to be killed by a missile* *Feldinaut weeps*
And really, for all my expensive shoes to be worth their zenny, I would have liked to see the status effects show up more, strange as that sounds. In fact, this last time I was playing, I think I just skipped the Asbestos Shoes altogether. So yeah, I'm not totally against the status effects, but I think they weren't integrated very smoothly.

lol @ Feldinaut XD Poor you... ;_; Yeah, that room was a nightmare, even with the shoesies @_@ Stupid missiles.
Meh, I felt like it wasn't much a story anymore in MML2 or something. You know those moments when Bola or Klaymoor show up, and they do some sort of speech, but MegaMan just STANDS there without saying a thing? Then they disappear and MegaMan is all "NO YOU DON'T". Feels too much like those RPGs with mute characters.
At least in MML1, he said things like "Join up with pirates? I don't think so."
...considering his voice in MML2 is far too girly, I guess I should be partly thankful though :X
