Well I seem to be running out of resources yet again on some of my projects, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get legends sprites preferably ones that would work in a 2D game with a run and jump animation.
I've searched google I've searched spriters resource I've searched sprites inc all that came up were Namco X Capcom sprites which lack running and jumping, it seems not that many people make custom legends sprites. :06:

You know, a messy but quick method would be to do a capture of the running/jumping animations of the actual game from a side-view, and cleaning them out.

That would be an ideal plan but it seems no characters in Namco X Capcom have running animations because they slide for all of their movements in the game, and a 3D model captured like that would look pretty odd if I got it from the regular games.

MegaMan Volnutt sprites? Well, I have no idea where you can find an actual sprite sheet, but some very very talented individual went and put MegaMan Volnutt into MUGEN at one point, and the sprites looked fantastic. There's a thread about that somewhere around here. You could probably extract things like running animations and the like from it somehow or other. I've never messed around much with MUGEN though, so that's about all the help I can offer. :01:

Actually you can rip the sprites of the MUGEN character using Fighter Factory, it´s easy, just open the character and save each sprite as the format you like.

We/he already knew about that archive. They don't have any suitable sprites for Trege's game. He needs running left/right sprites, jumping, and shooting, all in 2D. For now Trege's using classic SNES? Megaman sprites, and will likely stick with them. He's even using the climb ladder sprites now.
