I wonder if Capcom isn't trying to get the game canned on purpose by forcing them to delay to a worse release date? Hmm... Why the hell would they do that? The whole point of this is to see whether it's worth it. If it proved a success, Capcom could only benefit from the sales. If it didn't, they'd can it anyhow. Unless there's some reason other than money for Crapcom not wanting it to do well, which I highly doubt.Or maybe they feel the numbers'd be misleading because of E-Shop hype? In that case I think they'd just be going for a more accurate assessment. Not trying to get it canned, but seeing how well a sequel would fare on its own merit.

Why the hell would they do that? Well they haven't greenlit it yet, have they? That, and it's been shown that Capcom's execs can be rather vengeful, and what with Inafune having gone to a different company, how better to get back at him than screwing his final Capcom project that it took ten years to get running?

It has nothing to do with vengeance. Capcom execs represent the business. Like IC said, it's entirely about money. Personal feelings are nothing in this environment. The only thing standing between MML3 and the grrenlight is and always has been the uncertainty over the ratio of amount of fans to the cost of the project.

Man it's good to be back. Not that I've left, I just haven't logged on in a while (school computers don't show options at the top of the main page). While it looks like the Prologue is coming along greatly, I am a bit disappointed at another delay. Haste makes waste they used to say. I'd rather see the Prologue released right rather than crappy. Plus it allows for more time to save some money for a 3DS. I can't wait until we start seeing some english vids of the few missions they've shown us so far. The gameplay looks amazing. The thing I look forward to is the sprinting, melee action, and wall running. It's amazing to see a new aspect to the Legends series that no one would have thought possible back in the first game. I like Barrett as a character and can't wait to use him and his array of weapons.
