If you've got an OC for whom you would like to provide backstory, feel free to post the information here. OCs must be able to fit in with the Legends universe, as by the RP rules, all RPs must take place in that world. As someone with a lot of acting experience, however, I do find it much more admirable to use a canon character instead of an OC whenever possible, even if your characterization is not perfect. I highly encourage everyone to try and stick with the canon cast whenever a situation calls for them. Also, note that if you post an OC, other people might critique it. Please conduct yourselves in a mature, responsible manner. Current OC List

THANK YOU!
Ahem... I'm just gonna use the format that people used when approving chars before.
Name: Ezo
Age: 14
Personality: Very shy and afraid of loud and sudden noises. He does, however have an extremely short fuse, especially when it comes to his brother. He is a very smart guy, although not very good at making decisions; he is very dependent on other people. Nevertheless, he is brave and loves to dig, no matter how scary the ruins are. Also, although he hates to admit it, he has a voracious appetite, especially for meat.
Description: He is an anthrosaur (kind of like human t-rex or something...best example I could think of is Giran from Dragon Ball. Ezo is much skinnier than that though. lol) with cyan colored scales. He's got the claws, the 3 fingers and toes, and the sharp teeth. He doesn't usually wear clothes. He always has a mech with him, with a glass windshield that opens up and allows him to get in. Ezo is very tall, standing at 7'8". His brother is Tabor.
History: He was found on an island known as Soroblast at a very young age. He was raised as a pet until his family realized he could speak and realized he was just like a regular human. His parents worried he'd attract to much attention at school, so he was home schooled. Ezo later learned of digging and did it often with his parents as spotters. The family scored many refractors for the island and themselves.
Eventually the memories of being a carbon started to race into his mind, and he asked his parents if he go to an island known as Legends. Ezo claimed he knew someone there and asked that he go there ASAP.
Ezo's family couldn't exactly leave Soroblast, so Ezo went to Legends alone using the mech his family had bought for him to dig with. Ezo then found Mega Man Legends station where he found his brother that he somehow knew would be there. The two lived in the forest near the Station in hiding until Ezo and his brother worked up the courage to register as members of the city. Ezo never actually registered until after his brother did. He found out that his brother was always getting into trouble inside, so Ezo finally registered in the city to try to handle things with his brother.
-And this leads to his first appearance on page 18.

The MMLS CokeBotsThe CokeBots are, so far, the only acting moderators of the Mega Man Legends Station in its city format. Dashe had several dozen of these Servbot knock-offs mass-produced and isn't sure how many there are total. She assigns most of them arbitrary numbers to make her seem more competent. Since Dashe is bad with technology, all of their parts are from the eighties and nineties, and they seem to run on Cherry Coke. Their torsos are hollow, which allows Dashe to hide stuff inside them. They have very primitive artificial intelligence and speak with a voice synthesizer. They normally wield tasers and police batons, but can also carry light guns in a pinch. They stand about a meter high and usually travel in packs. Before he left, Avegodro upgraded five of the CokeBots to look more humanoid, with advanced AI, and more importantly, numbers on their helmets so Dashe can tell them apart. They've been tasked to reconfigure all of the remaining CokeBots to Version 2.0.

Looks like I also have to post Ezo's brother...this is all on such short notice. Name: Tabor (named after a random snare drum instrument name I found) Age: 15 Personality: Tabor is a very optimistic, mischievous individual. Tabor loves causing trouble and often steals things (mainly video games) as what he considers a "joke." His behavior is usually tamed by Ezo though (Yeah, Ezo scares Tabor that much . Ezo :: Tabor as Tron :: Servbots). Tabor is kind of naive. Tabor can be a bit mean and rude, but he is very nice once you get to know him. Tabor loves to dig nearly as much as Ezo does. Tabor has a voracious appetite and will eat nearly anything made of meat, which makes other people uncomfortable around him. Unlike Ezo though, Tabor's appetite can get out of control... Description: Tabor is an anthro dragon. Tabor has gray scales, and uses a digger suit instead of a mech (he designed the suit so that he could fly in it. Also this description is short because the rest of his appearance is similar to Ezo's). Tabor is not usually seen wearing his digger suit, however, because he hates wearing clothes. Tabor is unusually tall, standing at 8 feet (That's the same as Hugo from Street Fighter, because I was too lazy to think of my own height). And, if it wasn't obvious already, his brother is Ezo. History: He was found and raised on an island called Knowledge Base, an island very close to Legends. He was home schooled by his family because he was unable to go to school for the same reason as Ezo. Tabor's parents one day left the island for unknown reasons, however, and never came back. Tabor then went through a depression caused by how much he missed them. This began his drive to steal things. At about that time, something in him told him to go to the next island over, Legends. Tabor stowed away on a ship headed for Legends to get there. Once he arrived, met Ezo (The rest of the story follows Ezo's). Tabor registered in Mega Man Legends station and caused a lot of trouble (which somehow the admins of the city seemed to miss) there, such as stealing from several buildings. Ezo then registered to try to correct Tabor's actions.

May as well put in the obligatory OC.
Genny Specc
This strange fellow is well-known around Legends Station for popping up every now and then with the latest news, but is usually found dancing around the labyrinthine corridors and conference rooms that comprise the Devroom. Initially becoming an active citizen of the Station, he soon decided to don a Servbot guise and head to the Devroom to discuss all sorts of things. This has been an issue for him in the past—one time, when he was desperately trying to get back to the Station to warn Dashe of an impending Bonne raid, he had to form a clever alibi and make haste, before going to his Legends Station condo to change back into his LS garb. By the time he was ready to help, the Station had already been breached—so much for an effective correspondence between the two places!
Personality-wise—well, Genny Specc is an odd fellow. He's not very physically-capable in many situations, but shows an awful lot of vitality all throughout the day and throughout the night. While he's intelligent and an excellent scrutinizer at heart, his tendencies to speculate have sometimes set him up for some disappointment, though these are never major disappointments according to him. And, much of the time, he spends so much time being a nice chat with others of his type that he forgets to tend to some of his own personal needs—working odd jobs at the Devroom and Legends Station is hard enough for him a lot of the time!
Genny Specc has but two looks: a Legends Station attire and his Servbot body that he uses at the Devroom. His obsession with nice hats eventually lead him to the acquisition of one awfully-large, green captain's hat that he wears at the Devroom and, formally, at Legends Station. Aside from the hat, his Servbot body has nothing else on it—on the contrary, his LS vest and dress jeans, in ascending hues of green, are often seen obscured by a nice sports jacket—often black or olive green, befitting of an incognito journalist and traveler—and his Devroom badges, which he apparently values quite handsomely (though he has suspicions that not too many would care about them to begin with!). Most notably, however, is his tendency to switch out personal ID photos, most notably observed in his Devroom records and rarely at the Station.
And contrary to popular belief: the Devroom tale of "General Specific"'s creation and crazy incident was a fiction developed by him and effectively delivered to Teisel as an explanation for his presence—Teisel could care less, but put Genny to work anyhow. Genny Specc is a true traveller, in the flesh and in the soul.

Lets get some walls of text going eh? I'll see if I can't provide some rough descriptions for some of Skye's OCs as well, but I just found out the depressing fact that the majority of her art picture links have become void... Name: Mikey (Halcyon Days) Description: Ah yeah. The old picture link to the anime avatar I used to have as my own. That's pretty much the look I adopted for him, though it was generated by Skye. (bandage is on his face due to a burn caused by an old buster rifle ricochet.) Age: Fifteen Personality: Mikey is a bit of a quiet fellow, but he's rather easy to make friends with. Though he never has a lot of words, and not a lot is known about him, he has a bit of agility in his step, making dodging and running easy. He prefers long-ranged combat, although he's a bit blind without his glasses, he can pin a fly 100 yards away with a bow and arrow by the wing without killing it. Therefore, he makes a reliable sniper, and prefers longbows or rifles. History: Mikey was first inspired in the MLU City RP, essentially showing up out of nowhere. After some misadventures around MLU, he eventually took a vacation with Anima and REI to the Mono Island System, where he found a servbot companion named Charm, which, oddly enough, is an acronym for the first letters of all 5 islands. Eventually, Mikey found out Anima has a sister, as well as quite an interesting past. From Adventures to Misadventures, Mikey and his friends eventually found their way to MMLS City, where they currently reside. From building fires to shady new members to getting bomb dropped in ruins, he's still involved in the best of Mis Adventures with the best of friends.
Since Charm is basically my OC anyway, here's a bio for him too. Name: Charm (an acronym for all 5 islands of the Mono System) Age: Unknown Description: He looks like an ordinary servbot for the most part, but the yellowish tinge is a bit of a pale cyan instead. He also appears to have a blue mother unit symbol on his forehead. He's not skilled at fighting, but is capable of wielding buster guns after some training from Mikey. History: It is undetermined how Charm wound up being in the Mono System in the first place, but some could say that he was sent to the island system as a scout by Tron, but was forgotten and attacked by wildlife and unable to defend himself because he has no special skill. Or more likely, he fell off the deck of the Gesellschaft and sustained heavy damage. Nevertheless, he was found by young Anima, back when she supposedly resided in the Mono System. Anima fixed him up, thus acquiring the cyan tinge, and eventually made Charm's skill to be her Memory Storage Unit, thus acquiring the Mother Unit symbol on his forehead. It is unknown how Anima wound up leaving the island for so long, but upon returning, she doesn't remember Charm or anything about the Mono System, thus saddening him. However, he does hold all of her memories of the Mono Islands, thus giving him a big role in that RP. Charm continued to travel with Anima and Mikey, which is how he wound up making an appearance in MMLS City. So far his role is small, but light hearted nonetheless.

Off subject: Thanks for the vote of likeness Chao...He's my full-blown original handiwork. Once i begin modeling I'll make a model of him, he is an OC for my Original fiction but iuse him as plug-in RPC as well.
On Subject: Be it approval-needy or not, I was covering bases.

.. all right the OC character thread reboot then?.. Okay I suppose...
ANYWAY
Name: Alyssa
Age: 17 (27)
Personality: Alyssa is a girl that was born to be a digger. She loves the strange felling that passes by her spine when she faces something dangerous. No matter how hard is the dig she is always ready, although with so much digging through the times she developed a obscure personality. She doesn't want to know how many reaverbots has to kill to get to her destination, the more the merrier. Nothing bothers her or changes how she behaves when in action. Destruction made her liking the sound of explosions.
Description: 170 cm tall, long brown hair, a scar at the left side of the face from the mouth to the eye.
History: Alyssa spent her childhood in an orphanage with her twin brother Marco. When they completed 12 years old, they escaped and started their own life through digging. While Alyssa made the digs, Marco was the spotter. When they knew that people would start looking for them they started their travelling through the planet, exploring everything on the way. 5 Years later Alyssa decided to explore the forbidden island, Marco said that was a craziness and they had a fight. Later that day Alyssa left Marco and went to the forbidden island alone. She had no luck. the boat she was using was too weak for the storm and it started to flood on the mid-way. Somehow the current bring her to the island but unconscious. When she woke up, she realized that she wasn't alone, many people were on the forbidden island as well and the storm has calmed. When she found her way back to Yosyonke, she gets shocked by knowing that 10 years have passed since she travelled to the forbidden island... Now all she wants is to find her brother to apologize.
Others: As a digger Alyssa is she uses a normal light brown armor that only covers her feet, chest and arms to give more speed when fighting. Normally she uses a buster gun, but doesn't use it all the time. She has also grenades that split and explode on impact.
------
Name: Marco
Age: 17 (27)
Personality: Marco is the total opposite of his sister Alyssa. He hates violence and strongly dislikes watching reaverbots destroyed. He is very shy and its normal finding him near a computer or radar scan even when he isn't spotting for Alyssa.
Description: 172 cm tall, brown messy hair, uses a pilot helmet all the times.
History: (the first part is the same as Alyssa but its better writing it no?) Marco spent his childhood in an orphanage with his twin brother Alyssa. Marco was shocked about what happened, he tried to contact his sister but no avail. after weeks of searching he tries his luck on the Island... but he didn't made the boat went too far because he was very scared. However he never gave up: he studied to be an mechanical engineer in order to make some sort of machine to rescue Alyssa. When he realized that the costs of developing such machines would made him bankrupt, he decided to try digging, not only he discovered that had a natural talent for digging but also he developed some way of changing reaverbot's programming. He moved to a deserted island in order to have some peace and quiet to study his great discovery. 10 years later and he still didn't gave up, always trying harder and harder, hoping that Alyssa is still alive somewhere.
Others: Nothing much to say before Alyssa get lost, only after he started digging he developed some sort of Beam Knife that helped him to examine the reaverbots without destroying them. also he uses a Bomb Shooter when things get tight. Even so he always thought that he wasn't honoured to be a digger so he never uses a Digger armor.
There we go

I do agree, Chao, that this thread's OC graph should be updated but I also never found those to be effective at all...due to difficulty maintaining them.

I would personally like to keep the overall amount of OCs as low as possible, except in RPs that are designed specifically from their inception to be OC-centric. This is the Mega Man Legends Station RP Board, after all, not OC-Fest 2011.

I agree with you Dashe...at least on the 'This is MML, not...' part.
The number of OCs could be whatever, as long as RPs keep OCs limited, as is with mine: I have Seven Canon roles and a maximum of Four OC roles. ----I had wanted to use my OC instead of Trigger due to: A-nervousness in regards to Trigger, & B-My being rusty with Canons. - Which both lead to a very unique Trigger.
I think the Generic RP Forum rules should be updated with whatever you choose, but I suggest an in-RP OC limit to Promote usage of Canons without limiting anyone to them.
On a side-note: OC means Original Character, i believe it wise to instead of OC use either FC (Fanchara, a fanfiction-sepcific character meant only for that fiction) or RPC(Role-Play Chara, like FC,but meant only for RPs, can be in many RPs) (IE of term-use: My Atsuma is truely an OC, but can be used as Plug-in FC and Plug-in RPC, in this case he's an "RPC".)

A unique take on a canon character isn't a bad thing at all. In fact, in stage acting, it's encouraged.
Keeping the OCs' roles smaller, like as event NPCs, is also a good way to implement them without overshadowing the real cast, and it's a natural deterrent to having Gary Stus and Mary Sues jump into the scene.

As for the unique take, I've been hearing you say that...a lot.
And actually, that is what I did in mine: Atsuma Originally only had the role of 'You're from here, show us around.' meaning his role while important was really minute. Trigger himself can solve this by simple KTOX style Dungeon Running. (Think like the Runthrough of Clozer.)
The story revolves (heavily) around Trigger, Roll, Barrel, Bleucher, and the Bonnes, in fact Orana and Derix themselves are only existent to keep form messing with Canon Locations due to RP being placed in the between-title gap.
I still feel though, that, a mandatory Limit on OC/RPC/FC/etc. would be the right amount of deterrent while promoting them and Canons simultaneously. With of course exceptions being limited to OC-driven MML plots.
