I have no complaints about the Horokko either. Looks great as far as I'm concerned. o__o; I rather liked this article, even if there wasn't any necessarily new information. It's nice to have these videos posted somewhere I can get them easily too. And I think some of these screenshots might be new, so that's always nice. ∗ downloads ∗ It's definitely helping me get psyched for that Prototype. I hope they reveal the date for that soon.

@ Mikey: Eh, Barrett's due some attention; he is after all the main character of the Prototype version. Surely he's allowed to have some fun while Mega Man's stuck up on Elysium. Anyway, nice to see the Barret info from the DASH 3 site finally get translated; moreover, getting the context of those videos is also welcome! Even though this means that MML3 probably isn't getting its own (non-Devroom) website, the fact that Greg is actually taking the time to translate this stuff is wonderful. Just think; three or five years ago, Capcom putting so much effort into Mega Man was unthinkable. Misc. notes: - About the Horroko: I like that it has a stylized appearance now; it seems to look better in motion, so perhaps we should play the game before we pass judgement on it. :12:
- The hover bike's design: I'll admit that at first I thought it was too 'scattered' in this regard, but the in-game appearance seems to be a little more unified.
- The music: From the various clips we have, it really seems that Reo Uratani has a good handle on Legends-style music! ;D At first I was worried that having a new composer would stray too far from Tomozawa Makoto's style, but so far everything sounds great- familiar yet with its own distinctive feel.
- Return of the water ruins?: See that screenshot on MMLS's front page article? It's not entirely clear, but it looks like there are bubbles coming out from Barrett, possibly indicating a reprise of underwater ruins. : o I'm sure many of us are hesitant about that, but if they can pull it off well this time around (and I don't see why that'd be a problem), then maybe this holds some potential. : o
Seeing all this content now officially in english just makes me more excited to get the demo later this month!

Horokko looks about right to me. I think it just looks more accurate to the official art of it than in previous games. It was probably just the polygon limits of the old days that forced them to render the design as more squashed and angular than they intended. Eh. If that seems wrong compared to what you're used to, may as well get used to it. I don't think they should purposefully try to match the primitive blockiness of the PSX era just for the sake of familiarity.

I must admit that since seeing those much-clearer screenshots, I became more interested in the Prototype version. Those ruins looked great. I really would like to play as Barret now.
It makes sense that they're advertising Barret so much, since they don't want people who were expecting to play as MegaMan to be disappointed.

I´m ok with new Horokko, i get a little: "what tha..." when i saw him opening his head, but now it´s all right, it´s even cool!.
I get surprised by the effects they´re adding on this, the explosions, Horokko´s air while he´s spinning, not to mention Sharukurusu´s new berserk attack! but the refractors are too thin for me.

The title of this thread makes me want Legends series action figures, especially a Barrett action figure.

Actually Hank, that's exactly what I first thought when I saw the tweet. I was all "OH SH-"
Anyway yeah. I'm glad that was just a brief figment of my imagination. Barrett action figures coming before Volnutt... Hah!

Oh well, as you said I better get used to the new one.

If I had a Teisel action figure when I was little, so many stop motion animations would've been made, Man!

If that figure had a good voice chip, people would die laughing out of the sheer awesomeness of Tiesel's wit and rants.. I might wait one more week before buying the 3DS, the time's not right for it, yet.... but I will get the Prototype when the time comes..

I really like how the new market looks, it's alot more like the painting of Apple Market in the museum in MML1, I hope there are some side quests there. That ruin looks awesome! it looks really dark though, I hope I won't have to turn up the brightness, oohhh Sharukurusus in the dark, now that's scary. I think that Zakobon is just fine, it is a bit different than the earlier ones, but it still looks cool and has 3 attacks now!

Well I have to say they are really showing off all what Barrett can do. The prototype looks great, I will enjoy wandering around town and doing all sorts of things.
The bike is cool and all but......for some reason I just don't really like the fact it hovers. Eh, at least it isn't like X4. ;D

More technologically advanced...than airships? Exactly what kind of impression are you getting that the vehicles have gone beyond the Legends series' low-tech simplicity of defying gravity with crystal-powered engines? Does it look like the new cars can also travel through time or something?
