Hello everyone! Here are my scans of the MML Strategy Guide by Prima. There's a lot of interesting art and info in the book that I think many MML fans would like to see. There are 2 file sizes, the larger is 1GB and is higher quality, and the small is 125MB and lower quality. It's not too noticeable though.
The pages in the preview may appear out of order, but should be fine once your extract. Will need winrar.

I have the one for tronne bonne somewhere, I've been trying my scanner, but the text is screwed up some. I'll try some more another day. The price is about 30-40$ for used

Ah yes, the strategy guide... I'm pretty sure the site already has the details from it.
Whether the strategy guide truly is accurate or not with some of enemy data, I don't know. Only way to tell for sure is if someone were to hack into the coding and look at the data themselves.

It's possible to monitor the ram for changed values during gameplay on an emulator to discover enemy health. That is how people discover cheat codes for systems like gameshark and game genie. Do we know if the publishers of these guides usually communicate with the developers to make certain they have all of the details right?

You can add polls by editing your first post; it ought to be one of the options available, among other things.Actually I just found it, you can add a poll at the top of the page, just above your first post. My bad. Wish I knew how all of that fancy emulator stuff works. It'd be handy to view individual enemy health... :22:

I'm not quite sure, but in the first CU Mega Man Legends Game Club, either Snow or Greg (probably Snow since he'd been around longer) mentioned that Christine Cain, the author of both this guide and the MoTB guide, had been married between the time the guide was written and now. So I'd imagine if she didn't work for Capcom directly, they do keep in touch. If she was from Capcom, then Prima was just responsible for the publishing aspect, not the actual writing.

Oh wow, a strategy guide for Megaman Legends? Oh man, I love old strategy guides! Are there any concept art pages, or interviews?!

It's nothing that isn't on the main site already...just a very, very well-organized, well-written, entertaining-in-1998 book.

The artwork? In the Legends 1 tab under ' official artwork.' fAB has more official art than that book contains. I can't seem to find the background art, though I could've sworn we had a copy without the text over it. Maybe that was #20. :06:

Ah, Indeed so. The background art is pretty much the same for every page. I did try to scan the pages and upload them, but the quality is awful and makes it look barely recognizable. Something might just be wrong with my scanner.

Melty got a hold of an official artbook a while back, but I forget where he posted it. I think that's where we wound up getting the unobstructed picture of the background from the strategy guide, but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe checking with him would help. He pops in pretty frequently.
