Listening to one of my favourite bands of all time: Makes me want to ride a giant whale made of clouds through the sky while rocking out on a guitar made of explosions. EDIT: Bowie on the brain. And, speaking of Bowie... EDIT: Headbanging to Boris. I feel so alone in this thread. XD Can't even edit after this, since it's my third video in one post...

"Heaven-Piercing Giga Drill" by Area 11
For those uninitiated into the fandom of the Yogscast, a group of Youtube personalities known for their outstanding work in the Minecraft Let's Play scene, a few of their members are part of a rock band named Area 11. Named for the Code Geass equivalent of Japan, they're what could be classified as a "gaijin rock" group, by their own words; all their songs generally have thematic references to anime and manga songs. This song is the tenth track off their first official album, All The Lights In The Sky, and like the album name is a love-letter and homage to the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
Fun Fact: The end of the Area 11 song Vectors, a song referencing the anime Elfen Lied, is used as the outro music to the Yogscast's videos.

This is about a thousand times better than Monster Mash, and I wouldn't mind if it ends up getting overplayed at Halloween despite being a Bar Mitzvah song. They play My Favorite Things at Christmas after all. I hate that song. Julie Andrews's character has some really weird favorite things there.

Not sure how many people are also into jazz, but I've been getting pretty heavy into jazz fusion, particularly a lot of Japanese artists:

Muse - Knights of Cydonia (8-bit cover - Florio003)
Come ride with me, through the veins of history,
I'll show you how god falls asleep on the job;
And how can we win when fools can be kings?
Don't waste your time or time will waste you...
Seriously if you don't know this song by now then you should be ashamed of yourself. Ashamed, I say.

After playing through Soul Nomad (yet again) this week, I managed to remember the epitome of a final-boss theme for an SRPG. Seriously. I friggin' love this song.
(Play at 480p for best performance)

Cowboy Bebop's ending theme is one of my favourite tunes from the series.

Beaver Creek Beats - Pogo
One of my several top played tracks. This one always raises me in a good mood....plus I always liked listening to my surroundings. This kinks to it.

The whole of the Django Unchained soundtrack is excellent, but this one was particularly grabbing to me.

That's "SketchMan3". Capital S, capital M and the number 3. It's official (nicknames are ok, though)

I wonder how many people actually listen to the songs that are posted here... You'd be surprised. Just because people don't respond to the videos, that doesn't mean they don't give 'em a listen. Do you really want a battle of musical tastes on MMLS?

BINARY GHOST - P-MODEL
One of those Music to Mood moments, I'm into this sort of thing. And having Susumu Hirasawa in it is a plus.

I listen to them at work. This thread actually made me a Kurt Darren fan.

I feel like bumping this....So? Music is a major thing to me.
What's been playing in my tunes lately:
Been in a Starfox mood as late, so much Starfox 64 and Starfox for SNES has been listened to.
Yes, I enjoy Touhou...especially for its music and remix albums. This ones a bit of a good spunky remix.
Not much to say about this, I'm a big fan of Susumu's works.
