I just found these images on the Community Photo Gallery. It appears that Gregaman is setting up the blog post that explains this article as we speak. In the same folder "Blog Pictures", gives the individual shots for Megaman with the Letters A through C. This could potentially mean we are being privileged with voting for the design that fancies us most for Mega Man's armor. EDIT: Looks like the Blog Post is up! Let the favoring begin!

It's a tossup between B and A for me. The lack of the crotchplate in C just looks odd compared with what I'm used to. The lower arms and legs on B are pretty slick, but I like the shoulders on A. Ultimately, I think B's got more going for it...I just wish the shoulder plating was more like A and the joints were that lighter blue instead of white! Gah, decisions, decisions...

My two comments on this over at CU:
"I'm done and done with the Waifu Wars—is the Husbando War scenario now necessary?
I'm leaning towards A or B for this one—the way that C uncovers Trigger's torso only worsens the effect that his supra-anorexic build has on me. B makes sense if only because it gives his look more gravity, and also implies that he's only gotten stronger down where it matters. I find it funny that C essentially retains the heavy leggings of B while uncovering the torso—it doesn't look that much more casual and/or agile to me."
"Funny to note: Trigger would have the same undergarment as Roll does for the torso if we went with C. Then, yes then, would the similarities with Yatterman the anime and the character increase further. Funny how they still kept that thought process all these years.
I'm going with B. It's more striking and less goofy than C, and I've become too complacent with A."
Overall, I prefer B because it keeps many of the conventions of Trigger's suit design while also adding on to it. For starters, the new hardware will allow for far superior texturing and modeling compared to what we got back when—to illustrate the added power of the 3DS, some new detailing doesn't hurt. B also makes Trigger's legs show more power and gravity compared to the rest of the design, which also implies how much stronger he's gotten down there (because he does run like mad, after all). Ultimately, it feels updated without ripping apart any major part of the design and balance of the design—I'm looking at you, C. A is the same old design that we all know, but I want something new myself.

If C wins it wouldn't be a game breaker...but you'd think, as a guy, that you'd want some kind of codpiece should you wind up being pelted with Reaverbot shrapnel. That ought to be like the one place you'd want to be slammed with flying metal in the least, aside from your face.

That's the other thing: the poor guy would do well to have a jock-strap. We can't have any potential risks for the guy if he's going to try and be more alpha around the ladies in this outing, lol. I can't imagine it being all that practical to do away with it and, at the same time, constrict movement of the upper shoulder-blades (if you look closely at C, there is more extension of the ball joints to the shoulders).

I can imagine a bomb to the balls would be instant cause for temporary paralysis, shield depletion, and losing at least half of your energy gauge.

I voted for Armor B, mostly because I like the way they touched up the colors and brightened things. Armor C was a very close second, though. I love the idea they had for that, but I think they did an absolutely lousy job of carrying it out. If you want to make MegaMan look different, make him look different. They only half-committed to the changed design for that one. It looks too much like a compromise between some radically different design, and some familiar old design. Still I was tempted to give it a vote, because these designs they show us are never necessarily final after all, and they may've been able to mix it up a bit more.
Of course, some might argue that mixing it up would be too unlike Legends, and I guess there's something to be said for that. I'd like to see them try some new things though. Could be a little wild but interesting.

@pitch, I agree completely, I think if they follow along with reducing the armor more, like they did with the bottom half, it would have looked way better. I'm still excited about these redisgns though, I really dig roll's and I can't wait to see Teisel and Gramps. Dashe, the funny part is that they call it the 'Armored suit' when it doesn't even protect the most important parts .

The number of people voting for C (on some sites I go to) worries me, because I just plain don't like C at all. Bad enough that you cannot see the poll results.
Not only is it awkward, especially since that only his bum is being covered by something, but it's also just too Battle Network'ish and doesn't go with the style of Legends. Also, I don't see how Design C makes him look 'more human-like' at all. And like Loken pointed out, it doesn't cover the important parts...
I voted for B.

Oh my god. This is exactly what I was hoping for, wonderful pictures of the star for once! And they're having us choose the armor design. I could just die. I gotta agree with most of what's being said. B looks like the ideal choice all-in-all. Mostly for obvious crotch reasons mentioned above ( ) and because the first choice is FAR too MML2ish. He needs a tiny touch-up. *fistpumps for best poll ever*

I'm a fan of simplicity. Bright colors (what was up with all the gray in MML2's design?) and memorable designs. Just add some bolts and some grit for any extra detail you'd want.
I don't really like any of these to be honest, but if I had to choose I'd go with B. C looks hideous, and A is a change I wouldn't have made to begin with. A variation on the original would be a nice option. I guess B is close enough.

As much as I love updates as the next guy here,
I can't help but feel that putting this event out here was a bit too sudden. I mean, I would have expected that we would hear back about the easter egg event first.

It was a tough tossup for me. I'm still making my vote, and let me tell you Capcom did an incredible job in making each of the three choices awesome. As much as I'd like to see the Nostalgic Look of A, I really do believe Megaman needs some alterations such as the ones that are supposedly given to Roll. Option B gives me the appearance of a fully armored "crotch plate" included Megaman but as Dashe said earlier, the white leggings really don't appeal to me. I don't think any version of Megaman has the bright color of white on his armor, so this is a new touch.
C gives the more humanoid look, but then we have that particular lower area that is left unprotected.
Yet then again, Legends 3 is going to pick up right after where Legends 2 left off. Does Mega Man have the time and the knowledge to alter his Carbon-based Digger suit?
If either of the two designs get selected, I hope the change to his suit happens when Megaman returns to Terra, similar to Sora's new outfit acquirement in KH2. Just for the sake of nostalgia, I would like to give Megaman's Legends 2 suit spin one more time before he changes to his new armor.

That's a really good point...and another good reason not to vote for C. The shift from A to B is at least explainable because of the hardware change, and A to A...that would hardly be a shift at all. C would be considerably harder to explain if his suit's like this from the start of the game.
