GameInformer is starting its own playthrough of MegaMan Legends on its 'Super Replay' feature. What's interesting here is that only one of these guys has ever played the game before, so they have an 'everygamer's view' of it, unlike the Devroom's MML Game Club. So yes, before some of you (*coughdashecough* :12: ) ask...the 'Super Replay' guys are perhaps just a bit worse than Greg is at the action parts of the game. : P In all seriousness, though, it should be fun to watch these guys play and see what thier reaction is to our much-beloved game. So check it out, hm?

Looks like everyone with a pulse is playing through Legends 1 these days. The commentary's pretty promising, considering they've never played through the game before. Looks like it's held up over the years for regular people, too.

Good for that guys at GameInformer who wants a real experience on retro-games (it´s ok to call it retro, right?)
What caught my attention are the comments of the video, almost everyone said: "wow, that´s a great game, i never played before but it looks fun" and "i remember that game, and i love it" i thought most of the people disliked it and even said it was crap, but now everyone seems loving it, even the comment says: "it was a critical success"
It´s maybe people are starting to enjoy it or they were "suggested to like it" i mean, because of the Devroom and MML3 announcement.

They've got Part 2 up now. And over 17,000 views. And nine pages of comments, mostly positive.

I've heard talk of folks trying to get the guys at Unity to challenge GI with a speedrun of their own. Snow hasn't commented on if he'll go through with it, but people are asking for it and putting the game on psn.
It would be fun to see the speedrun, if they challenge GI.

Wow, that's great. Hopefully we can get a Devroom plug in with this. 17000? Good news. Heck, I might just watch it to see what regular people think of it.

I watched part 1 & 2, they are pretty cool guys. What irks me is that they don't check the trash cans and they didn't shoot Marlwolf's treads, you know what I mean? I plan on watching the rest but I have to finsh up a research paper. Also, by the sound of it I don't think they are even aware MML3 is in development.

I haven't watched them myself, I'd rather play the games. ;D
But yeah I don't think they have any idea whats going on with the Devroom. They only have it mentioned on the site once and thats from when Keiji left Capcom.

They mention MML3 in Part 4. I'm loving these videos, but my Legends encyclopedia of a brain can't help but get really frustrated when they miss 90% of things, don't pay attention and thus get lost, and don't listen to the one guy who knows what he's talking about(Ben Hanson)

Folks are still asking about the speedrun, but no comment, so far. Musashi: That's understandable, especially with all the stuff that can give you a hand. From the looks of it, however, I don't think the guys at GI are doing a 100% completion run.

Okay, so I've watched 9 episodes of this and I'm loving it. There pretty much have never played it and I love their reactions. The VERY IMPORTANT PART is that this super replay has 77,052 views! And they have been mentioning MML3 and the Devroom. This is great news!

"Yeah, I really don't see why Ben thinks the story is so great..." >Talks over every cutscene, doesn't listen or talk to anyone in the game >Opens Main Gate"Woah, this is a really cool cutscene! I'm getting really into this story!" >Goes back to ignoring everything in cutscenes Still love this, though.

Yeah, they are pretty oblivious. I wish they would do as many LPers do and not talk during cutscenes. And they still have no idea you can go in the apple market stores

Everytime they skip the support car function I die a little mentally especially since they complained about long walking in one of the older episodes, it's still fun watching replays though.
