Thanks for the info Mikey, and like I said I didn't mean to get off subject at all.

This is fantastic! Do we know anything like release dates or what consoles it will be on?

This is fantastic! Do we know anything like release dates or what consoles it will be on? As far as release dates go, we have absolutely nothing. We don't even know when the prototype is supposed to be released, unless this grounded kid is missing some sort of update he doesn't feel like browsing for due to 3DS browser annoyance. Your second question? We know it'll be for the 3DS, ironically enough. There's been Japanese playthroughs, demonstrations, and the controls have been explained. Granted, I don't think I spotted that in Dashe's post. Is the topic outdated?

The main character can be affected by different status ailments, as in MML2.
I don´t know if someone has stated this yet but I don´t read it on the main post.

For the Prototype's controls, don't forget that they're likely to be changeable, as seen in this quote from the Nintendo Power article (Vol. 268):
'Default controls' would seem to imply, well, exactly what's stated above. Also, for Roll being held up on the rocket, the Nintendo Power article states that:
...Which may mean that Roll needs more refractors in addition to that wrench to finish the rocket. Hope this helps. : )

Blues, do you actually have a copy of the article you could scan?

I do indeed possess a copy of the article, and I could scan it, but that, er, might be illegal. :21: The issue itself is still in stores, and IIRC you can't have scans of a magazine issue currently in active print. We might have to wait a week or so before we can have scans around. : (

I've got a question.. I noticed that the island in the prototype did not have a mountain like the island in the official artwork. Were the developers planning on making several islands with the Klickelan name? (ex. Klickelan Islands... notice the plural).
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure Klickelan was supposed to have a much larger scope than any of the other Legends islands due to the larger amount of space available to develop it, so it's not completely unfeasable that there might've been more to Klickelan than the one island. AFAIK he rocket was supposedly being built on another landmass visible from Klickelan, but I don't remember if it was still on Klickelan territory or not. The concept art has it on the island, but I seem to recall hearing it was offshore later on. I'm also pretty sure the rocket site and Klickelan Island were connected by ruins. As for the mountain, it's still there, but not as seemingly-impassable. It's just dwarfed by that giant metal thing, which looks like it came around later in development. I'm actually more curious about that whited out area on the opposite side of the mountain, now.

Yeah, I was always curious about the whited out area as well. I like the idea of the rocket island or several islands being connected via ruins. Thanks for the help, Dashe!

Forgive me if this is necroposting, but I found something pretty cool about MML3 I was looking through the Zip file for the long since down Rockman DASH 3 website, and I saw this. A screen shot showcasing MML3's lower screen controls. They look familiar don't they? It would have had the same, or a similar control scheme to the Monster Hunter games! This means it probably would have had Circle Pad Pro support. (and subsequently New 3DS c stick support later.) Add this to the things that fuel my wants for Legends 3 to get revived.

I read on a website that Barrett actually was supposed to help Roll by finding her a refractor for her shuttle to rescue MegaMan. There was also talk of a "flame of creation" that is basically the new Mother Lode. These bits seem to be omitted from the initial post. Has anyone else heard about this stuff?

We have the Klicke Lafonica documented near the bottom of the first post, but if you can give a source for the shuttle refractor mission, I'll add that.
