Dashe was torn. On one end of the room, Tsujimoto and his goons were escaping with the fate of the whole Legends series hanging in the balance. On the other end, someone else had acknowledged the show she was missing at that very moment for the first time that day.
"Kyle, see if you can do something about that barrier." Dashe instructed the new kid. "I don't think we ever got through with chipping you, maybe you can make it to Tsujimoto before he cans everything."
"Wait, WHAT?!!" Bass yelped. "NOBODY CAN CANCEL ANYTHING WITH ME IN IT! NOT ON MY WATCH!" He hysterically tried in vain to wrestle his way out of Fatman's grip.

Way on the other side of the city, Loken and Zero shuffled their way down a dark, dank tunnel. They could see a light flickering up ahead. "That's got to be the lab where Bowen produced those weird robots," Zero squeaked. "We've got to make sure none of these things can ever be produced again!"
"Yeah, then maybe things will calm down and Bass will be brought to justice." Loken said with a sigh. "I can't believe Bowen would devise such a devious plan to bring the city to it's knees and somehow force Capcom to make him a Legends 3 character! It's not like MMLSC has any power right? And who would want Bass or Bowen in a Legends game anyway? It would spell death to the game!"
BANG! Loken and Jenny smacked their heads on a large pipe held to together by tape and gum leading into the lab. Ahead of them were hundreds of glowing capsules. Some of them still had 7-uploids suspended in them, but most of them were empty. There was a wall covered in computer equipment and a few tables with various notes and tools on them.
Jenny adjusted her grip on the Z-sabre. "Better get this over with before someone discovers Bass's ally smashed to bits up there," she bluffed. "Stand back, Loken. I don't want you to get hurt when I..."
Suddenly, her communicator beeped. "What, NOW?" She groaned, grabbing her E-tank and taking a frustrated swig before taking a glance at the new message. It was from joeylikesunicorns. Crap. Letting Loken see this was simply out of the question.
"What is it Jen? Is there another robot invasion already?" Loken muttered as they walked out of the darkness into the pulsing light of the dysfunctional laboratory.
"No, just a PM," Jenny muttered, opening the attachment. "It couldn't hurt to look it over..."
As soon as she saw that screenshot of Bass jumping in the air, Zero's eyes flickered wide open and he gaped in shock. She didn't even realize her mouth was hanging open. Bass had actually succeeded in getting into Legends 3! While everyone's favorite maverick hunter was off gallivanting with this fellow in the trench coat and reading anime magazines, Bass was actually accomplishing their mission! "What am I even doing down here?" He muttered, the shock from Bass's unforeseen success still stinging.
"Uh, well I guess we are suppose to blow up the crap in this room," said Loken, busily scoping out the computer bits and bobs jutting from the walls and side-stepping dangerous, low-hanging wires. "Everything okay?"
Jenny snapped back to attention. "Uh, it's fine," she muttered. "I just got this screenshot from Legends 3 with Bass in it." She maximized the image so it covered everything incriminating and showed him. "What're the chances of this being doctored? Are they REALLY putting Bass in Legends 3?"
"Hmm, that's Bass alright..but he looks a bit goofy. His plan was to use the city to force his way in the game, so I would figure he would have had to have taken over the city if this was real, and I'm not so certain we would hold that sway anyhow. Maybe you should contact Dashe and see if she's alright. I'm sure she's fine but it would make a lot of sense for Bass to attack while I'm stuck down here unable to thwart him! Now how do we destroy this uhh... thing. I don't see how it even works!"
Jenny raised the Z-sabre and replied, "I have a sword, remember? Now as I was saying, you should probably stand back. There's going to be a lot of glass shards flying around and I don't want to see you get hurt again."
"Oh just get it over with!" Loken replied, bracing for glass lacerations.
CRASH!!!!!! SMASH!!!!!!!!!! Jenny raced down the length of the lab slicing the capsules as she went. The ones with 7-Uploids still in them flat out exploded. Once that was out of the way, she decimated the computer console until there was nothing left to access.
She turned to Loken. "There. Mission complete."
Loken opened his eyes and took his hands off his head. Shockingly he wasn't hurt all! "Alright, lets go see what all this Bass-Legends stuff is all about!" Exclaimed Loken while fistpumping. This was the first time he felt like he had achieved something all day!
Jenny led the way back up the stairs, hoping fervently that they wouldn't run into any trouble on their way back to Dashe. And hoping even more fervently that they wouldn't run into Bass...

Zado stared at Kyle as he walked away, toward the Rules and Introductions building. Since Zado had nothing else to do, he figured he'd introduce himself to his boss, which he surprisingly hadn't done yet. Still slightly unfamiliar with the city, Zado followed Kyle at a safe enough distance so Kyle wouldn't notice. Zado wasn't good at conversing with people, but he figured that he should at least MEET the person he's working for, if nothing else.
Once he got to the building, he tried to figure out just where the guy had gone. Like the rest of the city, the building was relatively empty and quiet. Zado sighed and searched several rooms for signs of...well, anyone. Anyone at all. The only place left to check, eventually, was the Staff-Only elevator. Zado gulped, but entered the elevator and pushed the button that led to the only floor the elevator took anyone to - the basement. As the doors opened, he saw Dashe attacking an invisible wall with a giant hammer and Kyle staring at her. Zado managed to somehow conjure up words as he stood there, surrounded by a barrier of shyness.
"Um...How can I help you, sir? Ma'am...Guys?" --- Ezo walked out of the library, bored out of his mind. It had been an eventful day, but he figured it was time to get back home and start tinkering with machines again. While he was daydreaming about doing something else, he unexpectedly collided into Tabor. Ezo shook his head and stared at his brother expressionlessly. Tabor broke the silence, not wanting to prolong this.
"Let's just cut to the chase. I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth, OK? It was wrong. I'll admit that. I shouldn't provoke the staff here so much either. All it does is make both me AND you look bad. Now. if you'll excuse me, I'm off to apologize to Dashe and find out who really killed that guy. I don't care what Dashe does to me anymore. If she has a problem with my apology, so be it." With that, Tabor flew off immediately, leaving Ezo standing there wide-eyed. Ezo was surprised, but he smiled. It was nice to know that Tabor was at least trying to right his wrongs. He was a bit worried about him, though. If Dashe saw Tabor again, she'd probably enter his body and rend his soul from the inside. Of course, unless she was kind enough to at least listen to what he had to say. Either way, Ezo was tired and headed home.
