Name: Axel Vin-Martin
Age: 18
Personality: A little weird. Somewhat serious, somewhat goofy, it depends on his mood. Likes hot places, such as Saul Kada Island.
Description: Male. Mostly wears an updated version of Vile's green armor from MMX8, except that it's hollowed out, and the paint on the armor is faded. Otherwise, he has black hair, green eyes, his ears aren't big, and he wears a serious expression on his face (most of the time). When in his armor, he looks at a screen in his helmet, which shows outside, in front of him. He's physically fit.
History: Lived on Yosyonke. Left home at 18. Went to work at the new mines outside the city, and, while working there, discovered an insidious plot by the owner of the mines, Jade Sashade. She had planned to use the ancient technology dug up and repaired by the miners to take over the world. However, he found out about the plan, and set off with a few specially selected miners to stop Jade Sashade's plot, which they did successfully. Then, the mines started self-destructing. Both Axel and Jade had been stuck in the Repaired Ancient Machines room while the other miners had escaped. Both of them called a temporary truce and took armor with jetpacks to escape. Now, while Jade had installed a new jetpack on her purple armor before, Axel had taken an old suit with an old jetpack, and so she escaped while his failed halfway into the sky. He then conveniently landed on a uncontrollable hovering mining cart with some food on it. It continued to hover over the ocean, until Axel saw an island in the distance...
Other: Equipment: Axel's armor can withstand a mild barrage of plasma shots, fire, or physical blows. However, if his armor is hit too many times, it cracks, and is thus somewhat useless. If it cracks, he would need to find someone who could repair it. Axel's armor is light, so it allows him to run, jump, fly, etc. Axel has several weapons on the armor, most of which need to be repaired before he can use them. The only weapon that is working is his buster cannon that he received in the mines to fend off reaverbots. It can be upgraded. The equipment that need to be repaired are as follows: a shoulder-mounted cannon, two scout probes with plasma pistols, a jetpack, and a hacking probe. The shoulder cannon fires high-powered plasma shots, but only fires 3 out of 5 times he uses it. It has power equal to that of a fully-charged X-buster shot. He uses his sphere-ish shaped scout probes to scout out a corner if he is suspicious that there is something there. They have low-powered plasma pistols for their defense. The plasma pistols on the scout probes are equal to that of Megaman's Buster shots in the beginning of MML1. The probes are small, can hover, and can fit into a niche in the jetpack. The hacking probe is slightly bigger than the scout probes, fits into its own niche, can also hover, and can hack into a computer system if it isn't too complex. Unlike the scout probes, the hacking probe has no defenses. All three probes were added in by the miners. The jetpack, after it is repaired, always works, and can make a person float a maximum of 30 ft. off the ground. A item storage space was added to the jetpack, along with the probe niches. Axel is a fine mechanic, and can repair some machines, such as his probes. It takes Axel 30 minutes to an hour to fix one of his probes.

Name: Does not refer to himself by his real name; he calls himself “Smith” for reasons mentioned below.
Age: 16 (During MML2)
Personality: Adventurous, and always willing to try new things, though he’s stubborn, and a little suspicious of people.
Description: He has slightly spiky light reddish-brown hair that goes down to his ears, dark brown eyes, and is the average height for his age. He wears an old, very worn black leather jacket with a gray t-shirt turned inside out (to hide the logo). Under this is his armor, “obtained” for him by his friend Sal. It’s slim, so you would barely be able to tell he’s wearing it. On his head he has a khaki military style hat. He also has a holster for his buster pistol (like Art does in MML1).
History: He lived on Kattelox Island. During Smith’s early childhood, Smith’s father, John, was an explorer, discovering ruins on obscure, unheard-of islands for diggers. One day, he returned from one of his journeys with a deathly disease, shivering badly. John was immediately brought to the hospital, but the doctors were not able to save him due to the strange, unknown disease. Just before he died, John expressed a desire to let Smith come with him on one of his expeditions. Smith then made a vow to be just like his father, and explore the world and its mysterious ruins.
As a kid he joined wilderness survival and exploration clubs, and learned as much as he could about traveling and ancient civilizations. His love of exploration often got him into trouble and sometimes even fights with the neighborhood bullies. When Smith was 15, an air pirate family, the Bonnes, threatened his island, and his family and friends were among the first citizens to move. They moved to Saul Kada, and soon after Smith and his friends Sal and Militia, unhappy with their new home, snuck onboard a “Mad Mossa’s Racing!” merchandise ship that went to another island. When Smith, Sal, and Militia reached the main city, they went around town, causing mischief of all sorts. They did this for about three hours before Sal pointed out that they missed the ship back to Saul Kada.
Meanwhile, Smith’s mother was worried sick about her son. When three days passed without Smith or his gang coming back home, she told the police about their disappearances. The police, who didn’t really care (“We don’t get paid enough to chase after brats!” one muttered), put up a few “missing persons” posters around Kimotoma city and radioed their co-workers on other islands. Deciding this was not enough, Smith’s mother also went looking for the trio, with the blessings of Sal and Militia’s equally worried parents and caretakers.
In the meantime, Smith and his friends had found another ship that they thought was going back to Saul Kada. Militia was curious about what ship they were on, and went near the pilot’s section. While she was there, she heard a message on the ship’s radio about their ‘disappearances’, and the 30,000 Zenny reward offered for anyone who could find them. Militia was shocked, and returned to her friends to tell them about the message- and the fact that they were on a police airship. They argued a bit, and eventually decided that they would go home once they landed.
Suddenly, the ship shook-they looked out a nearby window, and found that their ship was under attack by air pirates! Then they heard a loud grunt and a clank noise coming from the cockpit. The officer’s buster pistol slid near Smith; he picked it up and went with Militia to investigate this, and found that the police officer was slumped over unconscious. In order to avoid crashing and dieing a watery grave, Militia took the controls and Smith and Sal manned the forward laser cannons.
It was a tough battle, but in the end, they managed to fend off the pirates and land their heavily damaged craft on Nino Island, where they immediately ran to the lower, dirtier levels of the city. There, Smith realized that he could finally realize his dream and fulfill his vow of exploring Terra, just as his father did. From then on they used the code names Smith, Sal, and Militia. Sal decided to get some supplies; it was a few hours before he came back with some armor for Militia and Smith, and a shield for himself. When asked how he got them, he said he simply “obtained” them. Armed with this new equipment, Smith set off on his greatest adventure yet!
Other: Equipment: Smith has a buster pistol that is constantly low on ammo. He thinks the refractor chamber is faulty, but he’s not sure- he’s not very familiar with the workings of a buster gun. He has a slim basic armored breastplate hidden underneath his regular clothes. It only protects against most known types of regular buster shots, but not from guns such as Mega Man’s special weapons. It isn’t resistant or weak to fire, ice, etc. He also has a backpack that is normally stocked with a water bottle, an energy canteen, and basic food rations. They are constantly short on cash.
