Presumably most of you members are familiar with the ongoing Mini-Comic Contest we have running here, so I won't bother with an intro. Simply put, the contest needs images, lots of them, to keep moving forward. If you're interested in creating for the contest and having people fill your mini-comic images with clever/hilarious/ridiculous dialogue then read on.
That's the template. Fill in the panels in the numbered order with a sequence of images and provide word or thought bubbles for the contest participants to fill in.
Pretty much any medium goes, as long as the images are Legends. Screen shots or screen shot splicing will likely make up the majority of the contest's images, but we welcome drawings, 3d model renders, photos (Legends figures?), clay, or whatever you can think of. We welcome as many as you care to contribute.
Please keep a few things in mind regarding quality and usability.
- Keep the images relevant to one another so that people can focus on their entry instead of trying to figure out a way to link together unrelated images.
- Don't get carried away with filling a panel up with an image; leave room for the bubbles, which need to be large enough to fit the text that will fill them.
- When submitting, PM me with a nice quality original that I can work with, not a poor quality jpg or some such.
- If you are creating your image from scratch artistically, please aim for decent quality. We don't need MS Paint stick figures or poorly scanned sketches where it's impossible to recognize the characters.
I don't expect we'll be particularly picky, but all the same if you're likely to get offended because your image got rejected, don't submit!
I guess that's it. Any questions, ask away.
Hope to see some interesting contributions.
