this tired old topic has been beat around forever, but, as i realized not 10 minutes ago, rock spends hour after hour on a broken racing minigame, that cheats, just to get roll a music box,
there is no way rock would do all this for someone he considers his sister. especially a sistor who runs him over, and is not at all helpful on a dig.

Well if optional stuff counts, then I've got undeniable proof that Rock hates Roll's guts and wants her to die. How else would you explain all the times he shot her directly in the face on the way to the Calinca mines?
Meanwhile, he's clearly in love with the lady that runs the Jetlag bakery because he spent hours just standing there staring at her that time I left the game running before going to school.

Assuming Mega Man's never Jet Skated before, he'd logically start off with the straight and left curve courses before attempting the technical course at all. And you could also argue that he probably had no idea what he was going to win when he signed up for the races to start with. I bet he just wanted to work his way to getting the fastest time on the toughest course so he could look good on television.
