So apparently, they've confirmed that we're getting upgrades in North America, and they should be coming sometime around November 16. Nifty. Hmmm.. Looks like Devroom Zenny is just the Japanese equivalent of Capcom Unity points. That's kind of not really that cool. But I had a feeling that's what it was going to be. Ooh, we'll be getting the Servbot numbers too it sounds like. And (presumably virtual) membership cards. And they have some kind of awards system. And there's promise of exclusive wall-papers — can't wait for that. (They show a tease of one that has at least Roll, Tron and the winning Lilly design!)

Hey, on the bright side I'll actually have something to spend my Unity points on now.

I wonder if anything will cost 9,999,999 zenny... I mean, Unity points. :22:
Shoot, if they offer anything good for those I might just have to be more active over there. >__<

lol They never really have anything interesting to buy with Unity Points...though I guess you can't complain for basically free stuff. Totally going to try and get Servbot #1. It won't happen...but I'm gonna try anyways.

I'll have to push real life aside and try to get online more, so I can be in on the action. I'm excited to see what sort of things we can buy with the points!Totally going to try and get Servbot #1. It won't happen...but I'm gonna try anyways. I wonder what you would have to do to get #1, since they are assigning 1-41 out...

Since they're going to be assigning the in-game Servbot numbers based on some evaluation, I have a feeling they might be looking for people whose personalities already match the Servbot personalities as defined in MoTB. Well, that would be difficult but they might still try it. Either that or they'll be recognizing the 41 most respected members and biggest contributors.

I don't think they'll be giving any of us #1-41 at all, given that they're already set-in-stone in the games and Kinako would rather give us all new Servbot numbers instead. The first one to claim #42 better not panic--it said that on the back cover, after all. I could go for #47 myself. Who knows--I'm willing to bet that they will design an ID Card for Devroomies with Servbot numbers, with which the members could fill out their Servbot personality (reflects actual forum behavior) and other details. Shit would be so cash.

I really hope they let me snag 24601...especially since there's nowhere near 24,601 of us running around the Devroom.

The way the internet works, I wouldn't be surprised if someone camping out on the page on 11/16, refreshing constantly waiting for the very instant the new system comes online, and then filling out and submitting their application as fast as humanly possible still gets saddled with Servbot #712. Meanwhile, the people that get numbers 42-711 will all be random douchebags who entered "FIRST" as their application and will never contribute anything else to the project or even so much as show up again, they'll be too busy FIRSTing everywhere else on the internet.
Just something to prepare yourselves for.

I'm hoping that Capcom will consider this and require members to fill out a real flippin' application, and to have none of that 1 GET crap that you see so often over the Internets. That's always the case when sniping for a number like #42.

I certainly hope whoever's lucky enough to get Servbot No. 42 is a cool frood who really knows where his towel is. You know what I'd like even more than a Servbot number? A digger's license. I'd print that out and carry it with me forever. XD

I hope #42's a hoopy frood too, but nobody's a hoopier frood than President Beeblebrox.
So, Devroom Zenny, huh? Let me guess, you gain one Zenny for every post, and it's a way to reward talking a lot on the Devroom pages and stuff.
I'll pass on this one, thanks. Adding rewards and gifts to people who post more is just silly business in my opinion, and I've left more than my share of good forums over such a novel idiocy. Besides, if memory serves me right, the bigwigs are paying attention to Legends Station as well as the Devroom, right?

I think the value of a post is a little more than one Zenny/Unity point, but yeah, that's the general idea. I've made like five blog posts and I have something like 300 points. That's a bit too much like GAIA online for me, though, personally. So I see where you're coming from. I don't think this has ever actually been confirmed, but some people think it's pretty likely. I have doubts, personally. We don't really represent the fanbase. If you asked the bigwigs what they think about Legends Station, I bet they'd just say we're “Mostly Harmless.”

Well, seems they've got it up at last. The new Japanese devroom is officially open! Of interest here is the final design for the new spotter, whose name is now Aero. Also of note is more details about the Bonne Mecha Proposal Rally, including a submit-by date for potential designs (Nov. 29 th). Now all that's left is the NA side to update and everything's ready to go! :E0:

Sweet! I kind of liked Aero/Lilly's original design more than the finished one, although not an awful lot has actually changed, as far as I can tell. I like the name Aero too. Now I'm trying to find my way through the Japanese devroom to this wallpaper they promised us. Protodude posted it but it's hilariously small. >.< (EDIT: Got it! ∗ fist pumps ∗) More stuff for my mml3 folder. ^__^ I hope I'll be around when the devroom kicks off on Capcom Unity today. (Go figure they schedule this for the one day I actually have something I have to do. >.<) I signed up at the Japanese one, and I think my Servbot number was already in the 1500s! Crazy! (I'd die if I got Servbot #1337 on Capcom Unity. xD)
