www.capcom-unity.com/devroomJust in case someone didn´t noticed because are concerned about Keiji´s quitting. Shinsuke komaki´s design for the Heroine contest was the winner, i´m all right with this result. (since i voted for her)

No surprises here. Still nifty. ∗ voted for Komaki's ∗
It's nice to hear that they plan to tweak the design so that it looks (even more) like it fits in the Legends world, though. I wasn't really concerned about that, but it's still nice to know.
But damn, look at these figures. The Japanese site got some 18,030 votes in the poll, while the US and European votes combined only totaled 5,133. Japan had more than 3× as many votes as we did. That's crazy.

Glad Komaki won I was hoping Komaki's design would win and not the Roll clone in a robe and underwear. I also liked the design of the girl with the feather, that style reminded me of castle in the sky.

I've heard Komaki's design called a Roll clone too. I've also heard Inafune's design called a Roll clone. >__< How it works: Any design you didn't want to win? Just call it a Roll clone! ... Also apparently you can put down any design in the poll by calling it a “moe.” ... Whatever that means. x__X; “You voted for [insert name here]'s design? Man, that's such a moe!” (fan input is such a good idea...)

Next design contest we get, I'm going to put down people's designs by calling them a Larry or a Curly and see if anyone gets it. I think it's got something to with Japanese people being into younger-looking girls.

Yay, I'm glad Komaki's won, she really was my favourite. And I have to admit I like how her hair is pink-ish. >_>
Ahh if only I didn't have to go to work now, I could plow my way through the Inafune topic...

Trege If you painted Komaki's heroine's get-up red and threw a jacket on her to match, she'd look a lot more like Roll. Interesting shoes, short-shorts and a skin-tight black top, eh. That's totally Roll. Kind of. All she'd need is a stupid hat.

I can't really see it, Komaki has red hair and red eyes also a different face shape, not to mention a different hair style in itself.
Either way I'm just glad Komaki won.
(And for the record Yoshikawa's is the only one I thought looked like Roll, I actually like some of the other designs I just liked Komaki's more.)

Great! I think it's pretty fitting. I'm sorta disappointed Inafune's design didn't get more votes, but this one is really nice!

Trege Well, I can't say my photoshopping skills are anything to brag about, but here's my best shot at conveying it. Like I said meant to imply, it's just a silly thing people say. The only real reason she looks anything like Roll is the black top and short-shorts. The shoes kind of look similar in the right colors, but they're not the same by any means... IDK, People are silly sometimes.

When people say that Inafune's design (Inafune's specifically, everyone else looked more Battle Network-esque in my opinion) looks like Roll, I kind of have to agree with them. You see, she resembles a very different Roll.

She seems good enough, and with the constant fine-tuning she should have a very good design. It's weird though, last time I checked, the giant pie said that the girl with the feather (for whom I had voted) was in the lead, and it never changed. The only time I realized she was not (anymore?) in the lead was when they updated saying that Komaki had won. Also, I feel bad for Inafune. 2nd Also, Eguchi says, at the beginning of his post: "without further adieu..." but isn't it "ado?" Adieu means goodbye... Also, this has gotten me curious as to whether or not this person translates what he says himself or if he has an official translator of sorts.

The poll results are combined from Japan and the United States/Europe. Komaki's design must've won in Japan. And Japan has more than 3× the number of voters we had. So Komaki's design must've won overall, by a pretty decent margin. 2nd Also, Eguchi says, at the beginning of his post: "without further adieu..." but isn't it "ado?" Hah! I was so tempted to bring this up in the comments, but I didn't think they'd appreciate my being a grammar nazi. It's like nobody proofreads things these days, even when they post them on the internet for thousands of people to read...
