I think single player would be best. I think having them turn the game into a Co-op game is a little bit much to be asking for. This game looks fantastic already. I can't wait to see a full ruin down the line.

I just checked the screenshots and the fan-game looks wonderful so far. I like the fact that's single-player. I would love to see the full-game, or at least the beta version when they're ready.

Truner, they aren't EXE styled.
...Just really needs work. I've already complained to JMC and Major about that model and how it definitely needs some work. Makes me wish I got into 3D Modeling some times. ._.

Ooook, time to nip this in the bud. It's not EXE Megaman. It's not Trigger either. She is not any megaman, and won't be even called megaman.
Catch that? She. Yeah, a girl. She always been a girl. From the very beginning in 2008, it's always been that way. This isn't some super being manufactured for combat, or a robot with super weapons; it's just a girl, going alone into a ruin full of lethal robots. If she screws up, she dies.
So why is the armor so huge on her? Well, back in Oct when we made the first release, we wanted to keep it ambiguous for various reasons which I kinda don't remember anymore... So, I made the armor bulky, specifically designed to hide her feminine curves. Apparently I did a great job, cause it's working too well. No one realizes she's a girl, and think that "megaman" is emaciated. Poor JMC has gotten tons of emails asking why Megaman doesn't eat more.
We'll be releasing a character bio on her later, when we get into story bit in our weekly updates.

That definitely helped clear some things up, Major. Thanks. Trege was really intrigued by the progress and chatted to me about the model. I was pretty unsure of her, and made the "Megaman needs to eat more" remark myself. There, I said it. Still, the quality of everything is amazing. That's the most realistic flashlight I've seen in a game in quite a long time. Definitely getting better. Good luck in development!

For any of you interested, you can download the Alternate Water Theme used in the video here.

I decided that the next video will be a showcase of some basic combat against a single reaverbot. Stay tuned for the video as well as much more on Tuesday.
As well, I just wanted to note that we're currently looking for environment artists, texture artists as well character and concept artists to help develop designs for later on in development. If anyone is willing to give a hand and help us out, you can email us at AnotherStoryInHalcyon@gmail.com
As well, keep an eye out for our blog, our facebook and everything else in the next update!

Oh Truner, you're too kind. *Blush* No, seriously though. Thanks. I'll try and keep that level of quality coming for future dev videos.

Ash has expanded to include several social networking sites, to make it as easy as possible for as many people as possible to follow us. All will carry the weekly updates posted here, in entirety or in trimmed form. Don't worry guys, MMLS is still our focal point, so you'll still get everything first.

The project's Dropbox was inactive for so long, I was beginning to fear for the fate of this game. Great to see it's just the opposite and it's FINALLY going public in a big way.
Nice video, too. Looking forward to more tomorrow!

We've just been sending WIPs directly to one another because it's a bit faster when you have someone with dial-up and communication is key.
The next video should be coming tonight or tomorrow morning; it's a lot longer so some of the steps are taking a little bit more time. But, it'll be worth the wait, I promise that this one is going to be a lot of fun.

And by "some of the steps" taking a bit longer, he means me with slow music writing skillz.

Heh, not exactly. The problem was the additional audio work that this video required along with the fact that it's far longer. Rendering, Compression, Editing, and Uploading are all taking far longer than the first video. But, as we speak the final step of the process is underway.
