I'm beginning to wonder if 40 points was setting the bar too low... The way the odds are turning out for me? The bar's just right. :22: Perhaps if a replacement badge or something is put up for 80 points or such then that'd put your doubts to rest?  Numbers 1 and 2 both had the state of the union address thing going on, but that topic bores me. Number 3 really surprised me with the random cuss. For this week, I suppose I'll go with #5 for the simple smile I was given due to the thought bubbles joke, even though it gives Tiesel way less reason to be there. Last but not least; jeez. I'm glad I play/own TvC, otherwise, this week's image would make even less sense to me than it does now.  |

Had a lot of difficulty choosing something. I didn't exactly find any of them funny, to be honest.
But I'll go with 6, since it kinda made me chuckle.

I'll vote for #1. Teisel's line in the third panel sold it for me.
I think I cut it pretty close this week. I'm used to more people voting towards the end to keep the thread with the New marker to remind me.

I just love it when someone finds a clever way to practically disregard the entire picture and focus on one humorous aspect that everyone else overlooks. Very MLTesque. Heh, thanks. I didn't mean any offense to Tau, but I felt like ribbing about the word balloons was the funniest way to go for that one. Probably should have stuck with it for Teisel's punchline too for the best effect. But speaking of focusing on one humorous aspect that everyone else overlooks, I'm casting my vote this week for #1 for the use of "Tall Eyes Syndrome" (TES affects 65% of all anime characters, you know). I'll even overlook the gross misspelling of "pamphlet", which is usually a deal breaker for me. Come on guys, if the entry is going to be immortalized, don't you think it's worth running a spell checker on it? |
