Yes indeed, we must stand out. I've been reading all of the replies here as they come and I'm sorry I haven't found time to respond to any of this. I know you're all kind of waiting on me, but I just haven't had the time. I figured it's better to wait until I do, and then think carefully about all of this rather than grab a few minutes and come up with a half-baked plan.
I'll get back to this soon hopefully. Keep the ideas rolling until then...

Yes, Capcom won't listen to a bunch of fans saying completely diffrent things, we need a plan before emailing. like fab said, we all put something in commen like Megaman legends alliance or some thing.

How about one of us makes a website dedicated to the revival of MML? www.geocities.com/mmlrevivalEDIT: I'm building this website right now, I would really appreciate it if people can help me with it!

I'm curious, just what in the world would such a site have on it? We've got our base of discussion right here, and when the time is right we can spread the word from Legends Station's home or news page, with information on the movement and instructions. So this revival site would be accomplishing what in addition to that?

Well, it'd be a directory for all the contact information for Capcom... Unless someone gets it here first.
fab, how about you make a special part of the MMLS just dedicated to the revival of MML? It wouldn't need much, only contact information for Capcom, as I said.

Uhh... have any of you actually checked Capcom's e-mail policy? The only e-mails they pay any attention to are ones about errors. All the rest you need connections in the industry to find out. Any other e-mails just get deleted without a care for its contents.

All good notes... sigh, you know you're pathetic when you wish you had your DSL connection back. Someday I'm going to write a book of lamentations about the day my cable internet got canceled. Enough complaining! Blitzrun, you seem to have read their e-mail policy, did you see a loop hole anywhere? And I mean besides "Your MML game has a problem, it isn't continued ( D'hoy)" likewise, perhaps they do have Auto Reply (Oh me of little faith) or maybe you're unnecessarily confusing computer generated with generic, but it doesn't really matter. The only that does matter, is if they do have auto reply how we're going to work around it. Likewise, an extra site is not needed yet. Right now I daresay we'll need an extra thread (If we really get moving) but don't return the domain name yet. Quite simply it is a good idea to have a compilation, and dissection of most of the stuff found here, so we don't have to hunt down something that should be responsibly handy like an address, or a good idea, and most definitely fab's letter. An extra website would be like me printing an extra letter of my own, unless fab directly asks for it, right now is not the time. However, has MMLU been informed about this? Sad to say I have enough fun on this site I don't want to be bothered with it even if it is bigger, but most, or some, of you have connections there I would think. Are they involved? Yet?

I haven't even visited MMLU yet.... I'll do that right now.
Should I post about this campaign thing?

I don't think we're doin' that yet...
Alright, Blizrun, can you direct me to where it says that? I checked Capcom's website and found nothing like that....
Oh, but I did find this:
Q: Why don't you answer my email? A: We try to respond to each and every correspondence we receive in a timely manner. But due to the massive amount of emails we receive daily from our fans and customers from around the world, it is possible that your email was overlooked or in the process of being reviewed or researched to provide you with the best possible answer to your query.
Which perhaps suggests that there is in fact no "Auto" reply. Still probably they don't even look at the mail so... And it could be lies. But it does mention that tons of fans email them, so again I emphasize standing out.

Yes the e-mail thing still needs tweaking, but lets hope with our hard work it'll all comes out in the wash. <sigh> Here's a better idea. I now have an account over there, its small, no posts yet, but I aquired the same get-up I have over here (BM1-3). I suggest, as soon as fab gives the word, we start something over there, because somehow they have about a hundred more people over there, a lot of them must be duplicates, but we don't care. MLA!

Well, this MLA thing sure looks to have shaped up, despite the fact that no one's replied to this thread in weeks. I'm with you all the way, but unfortunately I have neither the pleasure of knowing any Capcom employees personally nor the time and patience to run around email-ing and dissecting Capcom's website to try and find a way to actually get the cause where it needs to be revealed. If I think of anything that could help the MLA...well, I'll post it. Anything to get a MML3!

I think that's a big problem with a lot of us, just not having the time. I would be doing more with this thread, but my connection times out every forty minutes! I can't tell you how infuriating that it, I swear one of these days I'm going to pick this computer up and throw it through a window.
The MLA! needs to be a little better thought out, and while the keyboard is more than willing the connection is week. And so I propose that we all pick all decide where we want to go with this. Its hard to say that time is vital, since its been two years and still were not really getting somewhere however the Assassins Guild has a saying. Its make haste slowly. It also has been coined hurry up and wait. They mean combined, that we need to be prepared for when thing start moving NOW! while at the same time we have to patiently wait for the time things start moving. What more do we need to prepare for right now and who wants to draw up a plan? If I am asked I will, but otherwise I'm waiting for a letter to get back to me about some vital information to our cause. I'll tell y'all about it when I get a response, but until then who has and idea about what we can do right now?

I really want to get a MML 3 but well after so much you just get really cynical about videogame companies and how they respond to e-mail. I'm an Earthbound Fan and as almost all Earthbound Fans know theres a huge fan website called Starmen.net, every so often they organize an enormous petition( 30,000 signatures!!!) or rallying cry (sending letters to Nintendo Power with Earthbound ransom style art and a massive ammount of calls to Nintendo of America from different fans) . I have done what I can and have even e-mailed Nintendo every other week (with of course good grammer, manners, spelling, ect.). All the Earthbound fans want is Mother 1+2, which allready came out in Japan two years ago, but all we get is the same answer: "We appreciate your comments about Mother 1+2 though there is no offical announcement for relese yet stay tuned to Nintendo.com if any news comes." Then that's followed by an advertisement to Nintendo Power... I'm sick of it! Gosh, I hope I didn't discourage anyone's hopes Mabey Capcom is different, mabey someone will hear us out! If anyone comes up with a massive movement I'm up for it! -Hopless cynic Nessbound PS, The link to the Aftermath of the Massive Mother 3 petition is starmen.net/petition/index.php if any one would like to check it out themselves.

Wow, between today's posts and the last in this thread, we have an expanse of about 6 weeks. I know at least for me, that time has been spent with a lot going on, including the creation of and many additions to Legends Station V3.
So if people were waiting for me to help make this happen, I apologize that my head was turned towards other things. However I hadn't forgotten about it altogether; A few weeks ago I sent a slightly modified version of my posted letter off in the mail to Capcom. Before proceeding with anything here, I hoped to hear back from them, even if only at a generic response level. Thus far I have heard nothing.
And so, if another week goes by and still nothing, I think we will then be justified in going all out and getting serious, to make them listen to us, as they have obviously chosen to ignore me.

I just read this thread for the first time, and I have some suggestions. First, I suggest that everyone who does this does both a e-mail with a organization logo (be it Megaman Legends Alliance or whatever) and a snail mail TYPED (it must be for my next suggestion. Plus it's much easier on the eyes and appears to be shorter) letter with proper grammar and such. Next, send a copy of both the e-mail and the snail mail once a day for several days. If a bag full of MML's mail comes in once, that's pretty good, but for a week or so, they will pay attention. Also, since some of the people aren't as commited, I suggest that one person send a pettition from our "organization" with a list of people who would actually buy the game if and when it came out. Next, I suggest that when we are typing our e-mails and letters, we type out the full name of the game, not just MML or X7 as fab did in his letter. Which leads me to my final point. We should have a model that all letter writers should follow and we should write to that. If we all send the exact same message then they'll probably think that there's a kid out there who knows how to make lots of e-mail addresses in a short period of time and send them. My name is Keenan Weaver, I'm 15 years old, and I LOVE Mega Man! I believe the most underrated version of MegaMan is the Legends series, which only had two games. (three if you count Misadventures of Tron Bonne) Legends is easily the best version of MegaMan, it's so much fun, definately one of the greatest video games of all time. Enough of my ranting, now to the questions: Were there any plans for a Legends 3? Is Capcom willing to make a Legends 3? It seems all my favorite video game series are dying on me! (Wing Commander, Crusader, Heavy Gear) From the mouths of ALOT of MegaMan fans.... Please make a MegaMan Legends 3! Thank you so much! -Keenan" This is a good example of what NOT to send to Capcom. I'm not trying to defame you or anything, it's just consturctive critisism. First, you said you were a good speller, did you not? What's with "ALOT"? It's "a lot". Next, why did you mention other game series? They don't care about them unless they make it. Also, they won't take you that seiously if you use exclamation marks and CAPS LOCK. You must sound professional, not just use good grammar. That's all I got (or remember). I'll post more as replies come.
