It won't increase anything. Online petitions mean practically nothing. Actual petitions with actual signatures might affect something, but online ones are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. >_<
It's a nice gesture though, kudos to whoever started it, and on Christmas no less.

I emailed the guy who started the petition. Its worth a shot right? *shot* OK 1,000 signs. isn't a whole lot but maybe we should see what happens? I didn't know it took 100,000 signs. to get FG on the air, aside of high sells of DVDs and being the highest rated show on Cartoon Network.

Well, dude, I doubt 1000 would do it, because, honestly... do you think this hasn't been done before? I know I've seen at least a couple of 'em over the past few years. Also seen a petition for Rockman 9 - quite a hefty amount of signatures too. To my knowledge, though, there are still no plans for a Rockman 9, and we all know at this point, none for a DASH 3. >_< I... kinda really doubt 1000 would do it, especially when half of the signatures are so mechanical. "I support this petition"... >_< The idea of a petition is to convince the party in question that it would be in their best interest to do what you hope for them to do. Think of it as a business letter. Half of the signatures on this are either the generic response, or "Please make this Capcom". That's all right and good and all, but where are the reasons? Like... well look at the signatures. I've spotted maybe one serious reason to make it, the rest just saying OMG YES PLZ MAKE THIS GAEM!! This kinda thing doesn't speak to big businesses.

*signs petition*
eh, it's worth a try. What do we have to lose? It's not like our chances of getting a legends 3 would decrease by signing it. Lets just go for it. I know theres virtually no chance this will work, but again, we have nothing to lose. Maybe if we give a big effort to spread this to the other megaman websites, and video game websites, we might get something going.

I signed this petition 2 days ago. Well, worth a shot actually. I just hope they hear our voices saying "We want Legends 3!"

One more signature isn't going to hurt, I guess, but I can imagine most online petitions have like thousands of signatures. From the looks of it, you've only broken about 100...

Way to get their attention with a grammatically incorrect online petition. I'll sign it anyway....

It still needs plenty more signatures. I've signed.

No, I think they should be kept. Don't think it right to take away their voice.

I greatly appoligize for reviving this topic but I'm highly suprised that with such a loyal fanbase for Mega Man Legends barely any attention was given to this petition. And yet Fab put the link to the Legends Station Homepage. And I don't mean to brag, but I'm the one who made a topic at the MMCF with more activity on this then here .

Let's face it, the petition's virtually pointless. It's not convincing anyone, because no one needs convincing. Inafune said that we could expect something by 2007, whether it may be a full game release or simply a demo of sorts, so we should all take that word, and trust it. Just be patient. Right now, Keiji Inafune's working where the money's at, and that is a game revolving around the X and Zero series, mainly. They both attract more to the younger, consumer audience, so he'll continue making games about them for the time being. I'm sure that eventually, once he finds both the time, AND the funding, Mr. Inafune will spiff up another DASH game. Patience is what we need now, so "shh..."

Petitions are pointless. People don't hardly ever pay attention to them. If you really want to get the attention you are wanting then hit em' where it hurts! Their wallets are the place you need to aim for. You stop letting them make a profit then they might start listining. Untill then just keep this in mind. This may be what Shift just said but it needs repeating.

You´re both right, doing petitions is just waisting your time, we might as well wait for Megaman Legends 3 to come out for the Playstation 2 console, i hope it comes this year, but if not i will have to wait until 2007 to buy it.
Janna!!
