Would you like Mega Man Legends 3 if it was a First person shooter? It would be a neat idea.

It's quite a good idea. A FPS/RPG-like MML game (similar to Deus Ex).

Exactly the game I was thinking of when I thought of it!

Sounds interesting, but I am so use to the third person in Megaman Legends... I'm just wondering how the gameplay would be. Would the gameplay still be fast paced action like the other games. I mean, when I think of FPS I always think of counter-strike, halo, and something along those lines, especially fps's on the computer. Also, what system would it come out for. I heard not many fps games on the wii were all that great and I don't know about other people but I never really liked playing fps's with a controller and analog sticks(except halo and halo 2)
but if MML3 COMES OUT and IS FPS I'll most definitely buy it, just because it's Megaman Legends.

I'm not in love with the idea, but I'd probably get used to it.

That would be The Rage's answer. I would find it pointless to have a first person view but it couldn't hurt the overall gameplay but then again it could totally kill the game for me. Usually FPS are fast killing running, kill, kill, kill. That's not how the legends series is at least I don't think it is like that. Also it would depend on how Capcom changed the game play. It would it have swarms of enemies at a time or a couple at a time and then go look around.
It just all depends.

Well, I could see it being something like "Gears of War." Atleast with the Camera Angle...like a close up, 3rd-Person Shooter. *Hints towards his MML3 Fan Game.*
Anyways, as a real FPS? I honestly don't think it would work. I already know too many people who despise FPS's and the only real FPS I like is Halo 2...for it's Online play.

I couldn't care less at this rate, as long as the Bonnes are in it and they're just as dynamic as they were seven years ago, I'd buy it. Which, considering the lack of character development in a lot of FPS's in the past, probably isn't very likely.

Well, has anyone ever played Deus Ex. Thats kinda what I was thinking of there. You have skills to upgrade, weapons upgrade, and many items to collect like the first two (never played MAOTB).
As to Megaboy123, I was like that too, until Halo 2 was only for x-box (it's coming out for Vista soon). I still don't particularly like playing with analog sticks. But like the others, This one can come out on computer. Computer games have gotten better in the past seven years.
Rage, have you ever played Half-Life? That was a FPS that had more platform then run-and-gun. Also, if the game is still generally the same, all that would be different would be graphics and perspective.
To Dash: then it won't be a real FPS, make it SW Battlefront style with 1st and 3rd person views. Again, relating to Deus Ex.
Dashe: Yes the Bonnes would have to be in here. And again play Deus Ex. That game is a perfect example of RPG/FPS hybrid.

Deus Ex is the best video game ever created.

Yeah, it's definitely a great idea. FPS-RPG... Wow! I'll put it on my wanted game list for sure! Like the other guys said, Deus-Ex, has succeeded in making an FPS-Action RPG game, and it was great.
But I hope the game provides greater detail, because I don't like cell-shaded graphics on a first-person genred game...

Uh, if anything this game will be a Next-gen (whenever we start calling it current gen, I simpily call it 6th gen) with "real" graphics, you know, dark is real! So graphics probably won't be a problem.

Uh, if anything this game will be a Next-gen (whenever we start calling it current gen, I simpily call it 6th gen) with "real" graphics, you know, dark is real! So graphics probably won't be a problem. There are plenty of games with next-gen graphics that are hardly dark. It's also completey possible to be realistic without being consistently dark. Going gritty would be a terrible move for the series, in my opinion. Even if it's a FPS, it doesn't have to necessarily have to have a dark, foreboding setting throughout. I don't think it would be Megaman Legends if it did. Roll would stick out like a sore thumb... and Data? XD But yeah, I can imagine a first person shooter. I can't imagine a dark setting, however.

It was a joke from a VG Cats comic. I know dark is not real. Well, the ruins should be darker, though. But I was just saying that the graphics of "most" 6th gen console games look good.

I'd bet if there is a new game in the series made, it'd be on the Wii, in which case "real" graphics are not likely to appear. I wouldn't really want it to look like Gears of War, anyway.
