Good to know it's still coming along...don't worry about that set-back, that happens at times, even to the best of the best of professionals.
Awaiting further updates.

I decided to move on to NPC communication, here's a shot: When the player is close to an NPC a balloon (as in comics) will appear on top of his head with a simple phrase like "Talk to me" "hey!" "miss Yuna/Sera!" to caught player's attention, when the action key is pressed (currently is V key) then a bigger balloon will appear with more text. After you talked to that NPC it's first text would change to let you know when a new phrase or quest is up, this would be useful to know which NPC you talked to before without the need of talking to him again and reading all his story (again) So you simply walk near an NPC and if he says something different than before, you know he has something more to tell.

Do you notice any difference on the HUD? That's right, I added what I call "Quick Item Bar" to the right side of the screen, basically, it shows the most important consumable items to have a quick access to them. It can be called pressing (you guessed right!) "I" key the game doesn't pause, so you can keep playing and click on the item you need in a sec. It's still on beta version, so if this works out as I expected this feature will remain on the final product. Man! I'm going very slow on this project, I still have a lot of things to make, speaking frankly, I guess you'll see the first chapter by the next year, but hey! no pressure right?

No pressure! That's a good new feature that will probably be very handy, but can you still select items when it's paused? I like to do that if I'm about to die or something so I don't get myself killed. Anyway good luck on completing the game! You should keep that square as a NPC .

Loken: Of course! the item bar is accessible even when paused, but if you already paused your game you could then click on the "item" button to open the items screen, there you can see the description of each item, and normal items such as keys can be seen here, also, if you call the item bar and then pause the game, the item bar will get behind the pause menu, so you would need to call the item bar again to set it at the front. Sure the cube can be an NPC, I could call it "Cuby" @reaverworm: I still don't add Mirumijees, but they will be present eventually. Here's a shot of the item screen in progress: I was undecided about the names and appearance of the recovery (consumable) items, I wanted something different from the Energy Canteen, instead of having the same system I'll go with something simpler, so in game, the player can still use Energy cubes to restore health, the system is different though, when you destroy a Reaverbot it will drop energy cubes that will restore health when touched as usual in MML, but it will be possible to buy Energy cubes from different sizes in stores too, same with "Power orbs" that restore the player's Power bar (blue bar) these will be accessible in the items window/bar. As you may note, the HUD shows two life bars at the same time, one for each girl, so when selecting the item you want to use you'll have to left click on the icon to gave that item to Yuna, and right click to give it to Sera, this will be described in the items window to remember.

Looking good! I have a new reaverbot design for your game. That's basically a Reaverbot versions of the Sonic Adventure flying robots that were mostly used for homing attack movement.

I appreciate your feedback and support Julkkaman, but I don't want to add new reaverbot concepts at the time, however, your first post (which was deleted) was very useful for me, I had not take in consideration to add Mirumijees, but now I feel that I should put them in game, I'll appreciate if you can give me suggestions of which reaverbots (that appeared in MML and MOTB) I should add in my game.

This is most likely the best megaman legends fangame i've seen in my entire life, even if it's still in production. You're just one guy, and yet you've gone so far. It's truly inspiring.

Thanks Hermit Crab!
UPDATE: I'm currently working on beautifying the character's animations, I only had animations for front, right, left and back run and walk, but I decided to add another four animations for diagonal movement, front-right, front-left, back-right and back-left, I will also add an animation to run backwards facing to front when locked on, to let the player shoot when running backwards.
That's all for now!

I've already recorded some footage 1 year ago (wow, 1 year, I haven't noticed it before) but thanks to my crappy computer I can't record a good resolution video, that one is very laggy, maybe if I can convince my sister to let me borrow her netbook and download a desktop recording software I could record something decent. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWvu_9zv4m8That video was from the alpha version, I PMed some members to test it out some time ago, it's nothing outstanding right now, it just had a single melee attack and different effects, very rustic from what I have now, but the information I get from the feedback I received was very useful, thanks again to the ones who tested it, and to all of you who is still giving me support!
