A fully animated background of Kattleox making a cameo in one of your most successful franchises, complete with next gen. graphics and a newly constructed Tron model made from scratch and not some back log? What are you plotting Capcom?!
Don't tease me!

Is it just me or are those Teisel's spikes behind that guy I'm not enough of a gamer to recognize?

Yep, that's him alright. It wouldn't surprise me if Bon was somewhere back there as well. I actually have no idea who that guy is either. (aside from the fact that he's from Resident Evil)

I swear I see Glyde back there too (in between Tron and Teisel). It's sketchy though and too hard to tell.

I gotta agree with you Dragge, that does look like Glyde's shoulder region in the background.

Um, guys...Are you talking about Chris Redfield? (The unrecognizable guy, that is.) EDIT: Actually, now that you mention it, that probably is Teisel. I'm not sure that I can spot Glyde, though. (Or any portion of his armor for that matter...)

Well we got better quality screens on the CattleOx stage now. So we can see a few more things, including Bon in his inner tube, Teisel posing in a suitably manly manner, and what is either a very tiny Gesellshaft or a very gargantuan Reaverbot tower looming in the background. You can see some of the System's circuitboard pattern etched into the wall too, which might be paying attention to the detail that they built modern Kattelox on top of remains of the ancient infrastructure.

Ok, in the first screen...I can definitely point-out all three of the Bonnes.
...And that's all I got. I didn't spot Glyde anywhere. Wouldn't really make much sense for him to be on Kattelox (Cattelox) anyways, since he had nothing to do with that island...ever. >.>

Wow, you can even see the Balcon Gelede in the background! (Which is what the Bonnes are standing on BTW) Apparently this takes place near a large body of water (Lake Jyun), which also explains the whole Bon-inner tube thing. The Tron poster on the left is a pretty nice touch as well.
The monolith is definitely system-related, although I have no idea what it actually is. It kind of reminds me of the intro ruin in MML, but that obviously wasn't on Kattelox.

The monolith is definitely system-related, although I have no idea what it actually is. It kind of reminds me of the intro ruin in MML, but that obviously wasn't on Kattelox. Don't forget, CattleOx was built in/around dilapidated ruins. Could simply be a ruin converted into an office building or something stupid like that. Either that, or it could be a remodeled Main Gate, or just a random ruin. Looks nothing like it, but then again neither does the rest of the stage. I still maintain that all these strange new makeovers are just a stage designer putting the hardware to good use. Doesn't mean it wasn't there, just means we didn't see it in the game. But yeah, these have me pretty excited. This is absolutely gorgeous. <3 They taunt us with these hi-def cameos, but they'll never raise enough interest to warrant a sequel. Woe is me.

Since seeing the DASH1 artbook today, I can tell that tower in the background is definitely supposed to be the intro stage ruin. You can sorta tell from the in-game appearance too, but the difference in coloring is bound to throw people off. The tower's proximity to what is supposedly Kattelox is exaggerated too. TvC did the same thing. As the Gesellshaft stage background moved, you could see both Kattelox and the tower ruin in the distance and they were pretty close to each other. It seemed that if you were on the island, you'd be able to see the tower from the shore. Maybe if the graphics in MML were more advanced, it would have been visible all along. Even though the pre-crash cutscene seems to suggest they were flying for a while after escaping from the tower, they could have still been in the same neighborhood anyway. Incidently, I really doubt that's the real Gesellshaft in MvC3. Probably a scale mini RC model like the Sulphur Bottom Roll has flying around in her room.

In the Tron Poster pic, if you lokk closely under the arch way there's a poster with Marvel vs. Capcom 3 written on it!

Awesome. I have MvC1 and whenever I play with my sister, I always take Megaman. This time I may actually be able to take Megaman Volnutt!

Wow, that looks nice. It would look NICER if it was anti-aliased. I don't understand why game makers don't do that. I have been led to believe that game system graphics chips (the 360's at least) have portions dedicated to aa so that it can be done without impacting performance. That always bugs me.
