Overview
Welcome to the newest installment in the 'Rate that Reaver' series! This topic is about a reaver that's rather simple-minded, Shekuten!
Skekuten is one of the first reaverbots encountered on Kattelox Island. It's quite small, bearing three legs and an antenna in addition to the trademark eye. Like the majority of reavers, Shekuten "activates" when you come into the room where it resides, walking slowly towards you. Once it's gotten close to you, it will begin to flash red, and will proceed to self-destruct, hoping to take you out in a fiery blaze of glory! At least that's what it wants to do anyway; the explosion is rather weak, and these reaverbots are of a very minor annoyance. To make things more annoying, they rarely leave zenny, and what they do leave is pretty sad.
Dealing With It
Honestly, there's nothing to really fear from this reaverbot. You can choose to ignore these guys and run past them, or you can kick them if they get too close. These guys are better off left alone, though, as there's really no point to killing these things.
Coming In For A Landing
In the end, Shekuten's a really pathetic reaverbot that's pretty much in the same zone as Foo-roo in terms of effectiveness. For what it's worth, they can deflect bullets 'Mettaur-style' when they're deactivated, but it really doesn't hamper you at all. At the very least it's harder to kill than Foo-roo (not by much, though). This little guy gets a 1/10.

I give it a 2/10 because you can't kill it until it activates. Everything else, you've got pegged.
Oh, and I can't believe you haven't done King Miroc by now! At least, I don't see him on your list....give the golden bird some love!

While they are one of those kamikaze-type reaverbots, its just too bad they're not very effective due to two reasons. Number one, too small of an explosion, two, they are easily outrun by Megaman.
2/10

Mmmmm... Onions. In my tradition of naming my electronics after reaverbots, I named my iPod Touch Shekuten.

have to disagree and give a 5/10
several times i got spooked by a reaver i couldnt see making my alarm go off and so i'd run, guess where: into a swamp of shekuten
they'd also explode on me and i'd run like a dog with my severed tail stub blown into my skull becuase my shield is busted and my hp bar is a small round dot and no shield repair in tow and vacuum arm equiped...
oh how i loved getting point-blank with full maxed ATK and SPC spread buster "daaaaaaaassssh, fire, BOOM reaverbot bbq complete"
but Shekuten gave me an upsetting annoying time in MML1, alway appearing right when i dont what them to and in corridor they gave me the worst of any reavers, even the trio of K-bashes was easier than eliminating a corridor's worth of Shekutens
i finally learned: run from them or shield arm them
5/10 because of difficulty avoiding them when low on HP
EDIT: personally i'd like to see a thread on the Cannam reaverbot

Oh, so that's how that look like? Man, I usually just start blasting the moment they pop out of the ground, so I've never seen them activated before.

If these had the feature of being able to deactivate and camp on ceilings and walls and disguise itself as scenery with is generic shape and activate out of no where I would give these guys an actual 8/10 but I give them a 3/10 in overall design but a 1/10 in the danger factor of them.
