Huh, my friend has a lot of knowledge about Pokemon, so I figured if he said that Pokemon in the Day Care didn't learn moves, it had to be true. I'd better tell him this.
Yep, I read the manual for the Pokewalker, and it says that you can't learn any moves as you level up. It's probably why my other friend's Togepi didn't learn that psychic move it learns early (can't remember the name of the move at the moment). It makes me not want to use the Pokewalker, even though I want to. Well, I guess I'll use it to level Pokemon I don't care for and catch rare Pokemon (Caught two Dratinis!) and items.

I've caught more than a hundred kinds, now. I feel gooooooood.... ^_____^
In other news, picked up my fifth badge so I could get Fly. Caught my Scyther at the bug-catching contest; and a Pinsir which I had to let go. Caught Raikou with a Fast Ball. And I'm working on raising my Dratini; she's a Dragonair now, and she's quite good beating the crap out of other trainers' Pokémon.. >:D

Is it Extrasensory? Because the Togepi that hatched from my egg knew it as one of its base moves. It must be another in that case. I am seriously loving the remixed Goldenrod City theme (yay for brass). ;D Still, I can't wait to get the GB player.

I got Heart Gold last Thursday, despite the fact that I've constantly said I will never play another Pokemon game. But hey, my little sister got Soul Silver, and it made me want to check it out. Well, it's the same Gold I remember from my youth. And by that, I mean largely boring and annoying.
Battling anyone but a live person is terrible; battles take too long, hold no challenge at all, and break up the flow of exploration to an unforgivable degree. Catching pokemon is the highlight, but they manage to even make that more trouble than it is worth. I tried for two hours yesterday just to catch one of the legendary dogs. Despite the fact that I had gotten their health down to a red sliver, and blocked them from escaping using my Block TM move, they simply would not get in the fscking ultra balls.
The graphics are okay for a DS game, but the Final Fantasy remakes show that it could obviously look so much better. And I listen to my own music when playing the game, because the game's own doesn't interest me.
So anyways, I just cleared Team Rocket out of the radio tower. That had to be the most mind numbingly boring hour I've ever spent playing a video game. I think I went into a catatonic state at one point. But now I'm free from Team sh**-for-brains for the rest of the game ("I'ma keep sendin' out mah five level 16 rattitatas in the hopes of it beating this here level 57 Croconaw!"), so things will get slightly better.
Oh wait, that's right... ice cave is up next. FML.
Current Pokemon Team:
Gyrados Lvl. 30 (Shiny Red) Pidgeotto Lvl. 31 Sudowoodo Lvl. 23 Beedrill Lvl. 15 Bellossom Lvl. 6 (should have waited to give Flash to a better Pokemon...) Croconaw Lvl. 57

I Loved the old Gold and Silver, so I figured I'd love this one to! I'm some were in Kanto at the moment, in the town Misty is in ((can't remember what it's called))
I love how you're lead Pokemon follows behind you! And I love the Poke'walker thing! Heck, I pretty much Love everything about these games. Except the PC box system..I liked the one in Diamond and Pearl better.

Despite the fact that I had gotten their health down to a red sliver, and blocked them from escaping using my Block TM move, they simply would not get in the fscking ultra balls. I had a harder time catching them when I used a Pokémon that keeps them from leaving. Pokéball didn't even shake once before it burst. It's easy enough to just keep running into them, if a bit tiresome. Also, try Fast Balls (give Kurt White Apricorns); they work better I think. (∗caught Raikou and Entei∗)I'm working on getting all the different Eevee evolutions now. (sans-Leafeon/Glaceon) It's kind of a pain that the Water/Fire/Thunder-stones are only available on certain days, and require you to earn a bunch of points at the Pokéthlon. But that's still cool. EDIT: Well this is kind of lame; you can only buy one stone per day, in addition to them only being available on certain days. >___< Anywho, got Flareon. ^__^ I have a few "trade to evolve" Pokémon that I'd like to evolve, if anyone wants to toss a few Pokémon back and forth over the NWC. I don't really care about actually using any of them (yet (except my Scyther)), I just want to get the Pokédex pages. I'd like to get some Pokémons from yous guys, sos I can have more IDs to increase my chances in the lottery, too.

Well, if no one's offered yet, I can trade a few, and that goes for anyone, I would enjoy doing a few tradeback transactions with any of you, I'd even need a small favor myself. My PCP is on my Platinum copy and I would need someone to trade it to so that that person can trade it back to me on my heartgold copy. The same would need to be done for a few other Pkmn as well.
Are the evolutionary stones that hard to find in HG and SS, Green? I remember the Celadon department store in FR and LG used to sell them by the truckload, and Platinum's underground was chock full of 'em. I guess they changed that (for the better, imo).

I've read that there's someone who will call you every now and then and give you a Stone, but beyond that I think you have to either find the few that are scattered throughout the game, or purchase them with Pokéthlon points. (2,500 points for a Fire Stone) And then the Pokéthlon store only sells you one per day. >__< (I got my Flareon today, but I wanted to get my Ninetales too!) They don't sell them in the department store any more. (err.. well, that's what I've read; I haven't been to Kanto yet) I like it actually. Makes the whole thing seem more special. Makes you decide which Pokémon you really want to evolve, and it makes it take longer to fill your Pokédex.. >__< If you're still available I could get online right now, and we could do some trades. EDIT: Actually I have no idea how this Wifi business works.. >__< I'm in the Union Room. Should I be in the Union Room? We'll try this again later. EDIT 2: I got my Umbreon and my Vaporeon! I'm gonna work on Espeon tomorrow, and by this time tomorrow night I should be able to get a Thunderstone for Jolteon. I'm so excited.

Anyone else disappointed that the phone system sucks now? Everyone calls me telling me useless info, or info I already knew long time ago. None of them ever call me for a rematch either! I remember in the original games, this Camper would tell me when the department store held sales on the roof (unless I'm mistaking Johto's department store with Kanto's). And this is probably just me, but I really hate it how just about every opponent you face has the ability to confuse and put another status ailment on you at the same time. No other RPG has annoyed me this much. But don't worry, I still love the game. I also don't know how the link system works either. I really don't see the difference between each of the lobbies. It also doesn't help that Nintendo Wifi isn't compatible with my wireless router.

While it's true that people often call to tell you some of the most mundane stuff I've ever heard (I could care less about Joey's Rattata being in the top percentage), they also have given me rather useful battle info. I've also received items from them on occasion, and I think they start calling for rematches when you reach a certain point in the game. Mom calls quite frequently too, especially when you get the Amulet Coin. Course, in her case, she's merely telling you that you've got an item waiting for you.
Confusion etc. has been a boon since the original RBY games. What ticks me off here is that this is the first game where I have ever seen a Gym Leader use more than one healing item on the same Pokemon. Pryce and Whitney both pulled this on me; I thought I could knock them out after they'd used a Hyper Potion on Miltank/Dewgong, and then they pull a Full Restore out of nowhere and use that. Even worse is the fast that Dewgong was constantly resting, so my Jolteon had it's hands (paws?) quite full.
Anywho, I got out of the Ice Path (I love that song!), and am now going to proceed to beat Claire senseless with my Feraligatr/Jolteon.

I think they started calling me for rematches after I got to Blackthorn City. I'm getting tons of calls for rematches now; and I think every single one of them has a Pokémon over level 30, so far, which is pretty nice.. (even Joey's RatICATE was pretty strong!) The "confused" status is really annoying, but it's not that bad. What mostly annoys me about is it never seems to be as damaging to the enemy. And if you want to avoid having to deal with healing items from the Gym Leaders, kill their Pokémon faster. (“Gym Leader Pryce used Full Restore! ... Gym Leader Pryce's Pokémon already fainted!”)I like that important trainers have little phrases they shout out once you've got them down to their last Pokémon. I wish I could do that..

Well to say I have done mostly everything in SoulSilver, including the Arceus event. To say, a hacked Arceus will work for it since I used a Action Replay to get the Hall of Origin event to work on my Pearl some years ago.
Also I noticed that SoulSilver and HeartGold won't work with My Pokémon Ranch since 'Connect to Wii' won't appear on the DS when doing the scan with the Wii.
Also I need a Kyogre from HeartGold to unlock Rayquaza since I already got Groudon xD
The only things I didn't do will be the Latias event, Rayquaza event and the Celebi event. That will be them.
My team currently is: Typhlosion Lv. 69 (Male) Pupitar Lv. 30 (Male) Leafeon Lv. 34 (Male) Honchkrow Lv. 40 (Male) Snorlax Lv. 50 (Male) Beedrill Lv. 25 (Male)
Also I named my character on SoulSilver 'Jimmy', can anyone guess why?

The "confused" status is really annoying, but it's not that bad. What mostly annoys me about is it never seems to be as damaging to the enemy. Actually, there's a system for that. The higher your Pokemon's Attack stat is, the more damage it takes when it hits itself. If your opponent isn't taking much damage, chances are it's not a great physical attacker.
