I've finished Rune Factory 2 a few days ago. It's really one of my favorite games on the DS so far. The story is great although the beginning can really drags on. Still, if you're patient, it really pays off once you reach the halfway point.
I finished the game just in time too. Rune Factory 3 came out this month so I started that one. It's very different. They improved the mechanic a lot. The transition between RF2 and RF3 requires a little bit of time. However, I can't help but love the changes.

Although I had more than a dozen video games I must still beat (I'm stuck at some places), I've decided to replay these games during the past few months. Comments are basically what I first thought about these games when I had beaten them for the first time.
Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar: My absolute favourite out of the series. The very first game of Battle Network I had actually played, and it hooked me into the series. The mini-games don't annoy me and I really liked Iris and the villians in the game. I actually wanted to complete the battle chip library and do the post-events simply because I couldn't get enough of it.
Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman: This game really annoyed me a lot. Your battles are restricted by the timing (especially bad in the beginning when you don't have good chips) and the mini-game where you have to hit those robots in order to proceed was button-bashingly frustrating as your timing and reflexes must really be spot-on. Also, shouldn't Lan saving the day four times before meant he would be a good enough to be part of the team? I must admit that I liked it when Protoman was Lan's netnavi for awhile. I also liked the fact that Dr. Wily showed a good side to himself, especially towards Dr. Regal at the end.
Mega Man Battle Network 4: Blue Moon: When I finished this game, I was relieved to have beaten it. It's mainly just mini-games with the real plot only at the end. Star Force 3 did a way better job when it came to the plot.
Misadventures of Tron Bonne: Lots of fun. The servbots are adorable; and it's fun to play as someone other than Mega Man. Unlike many other mini-games from the other series, I actually had lots of fun and wanted to beat them.
Mega Man Legends: Also lots of fun. I am amazed how I actually cared about the NPCs and wanted to help them. I also liked the Bonnes a lot too.
Mega Man Legends 2: Entertaining, yet I felt a bittersweet feeling since we have questions left unanswered.

@steffie Haha nice! I've just recently rediscovered my love of the Battle Network series myself. Horribly phun stuff. I was hacking my way through the original MegaMan Battle Network game, but thanks to a stupid accident I lost my save file, so I gave that up for a while. Now I'm working my way through MegaMan Battle Network 5 Double Team, which I just bought recently — back in the day, I stopped playing at MMBN4, so this is completely new to me. I'm loving MMBN5, though. I've heard mixed reviews about it, but it seems pretty great so far. If I can track it down, I'm probably going to pick up MMBN6 too, so I can finally complete the main series — and I hear MMBN6 is supposed to be fantastic.
Also, replaying Legends? Always a cool idea! I should get back on that myself. I think I'll have plenty of time to play them before we actually get Legends 3 though, at least... >__<

@ Pitch: Thanks. I really enjoyed Battle Network a lot; which is # 5 on my list of the Mega Man series I enjoyed playing. I really found it fun and original when it first came out. As for MMBN5, I personally believe that if one doesn't like that sort of gameplay in general, you won't like it in this game. While it might be a bit of a chore at first, beating all six MMBN games would be worth the effort.
Heh, ever since I heard about MML3 being in the works, I've decided to play all the other Legends games to get into the spirit.

I've been re-playing through the MML series too, in release order; I beat MoTB a while ago. It'd been a while since my last playthrough, and I'd kinda forgotten exactly how great it was. ;D Next on my list is MML2, and I'm starting that the first day snow falls in my area, so it can 'match' the opening cutscenes and beginning of the game.

HavenĀ“t been able to play a lot of games lately, but... I do remember beating a few in recent times..
Monkey Island 2:LeChuck's Revenge- Special Edition: I really sunk my teeth into comedic and puzzle-filled goodness with this one. THough my favorite gags has to be locking Stan in a coffin and getting the cook fired ;D
Rune Factory Frontier: I remember when I got this game last year- I wasn't able to do much outside of selling whatever grasses and weeds I found, but once I started gardening and making weapons, I just came back just to see what else I could come up with- despite some setbacks, it paid off in the end- now I'm sitting on a small fortune with more stuff than I know what to do with- and I really like having all those animals on my farm. I also liked dealing with the townspeople- they grow on you over time, much like the servbots.

Rune Factory Frontier is, without a doubt, my favorite game on the Wii. I really wish I had time to finish it but a game day takes me about 30 to 45 minutes >.<
I really love the Rune Factory series in general and I'm really happy that they announced Rune Factory Ocean for the Wii AND the PS3.

I just beat MML1, I forgot how powerful Juno was, and I used the active buster instead of the laser.

Loken In terms of usefulness, the Active Buster is about on even ground with the Shining Laser in Legends 1, but oddly enough it costs more to upgrade. (By more than 2×!) No doubt it's useful against MegaMan Juno. @ Pitch ... As for MMBN5, I personally believe that if one doesn't like that sort of gameplay in general, you won't like it in this game. Yes indeed. I love MMBN's gameplay and battle system, but the Liberation Missions have really put me off with this game. It's nothing terribly difficult and I always feel silly when I finish one because it took me forever to get around to actually playing them. But they just can't hold my interest for very long. I imagine it might be phun now to go back and play them, but I'm not up for it right now. Still, I'm loving this game to death. I'm really digging using ProtoMan, too.... it's just too cool. I haven't beaten anything new yet, but I bought MegaMan Battle Network 6 today for $10. (pocket change ftw ^_^) Unfortunately I mistakenly bought the wrong version(the cartridge colors are misleading... I should've double checked), but I guess I'll just have to live with that. And find some way to play the other version later. :16: It's gonna be great to finally finish playing this series! <3

I'm about to beat Megaman Zero 2 in a second play. I wanna the Ultimate form darn it! And I bothered in getting all the other forms as well.
I'M MISSING 6 CUBER-ELVES BUT WHERE ARE THEY, ARGH.
And then I will get Hard mode... FUN! No Weapon lv up or anything, relying on Sheild Boomberang if you want elemantal damage... DOUBLE FUN!
Oh and I recently got interested in Phoenix Wright (on emulator, those games are not sold here anymore I dunno why.. out of stock?)
Beat the first one and "Justice for all" yesterday... very touching ending... the mean ending I mean.
Ps: Also beat Megaman Zero 4 to get the Mod Cards for MMZ3... Sniff... sob... I forget how touching the game is... it was teh very first oen that amde me cry.. and I sobbed now because I alredy knew the ending.

Well, in this case... it's not really finishing the game. But still, after yesterday's update, I have finished the missions (the story) of Wings of the Goddess on Final Fantasy XI. It was really great. Made the wait worth it.
Trying to see if I can finish Mega Man Zero 3 this week during my metro travels.

Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs: This is easily my absolute favourite out of the three Ranger games. You started as a Top Ranger from the beginning; and could even have 7 pokemon follow you as well (you can click on your character to hide them too, which is cool). The partner pokemon and poke-assists are a lot more helpful as well. Your partner Ben/ Summer helped a lot more compared to the partners in the previous games. The villians are also more interesting and likable; and the NPCs quite cool. In fact, I actually wanted to help them with the Quests than in previous games. The only downside for me was the Ranger Signs. I wished that after one had drawn a Ranger Sign once, we should simply click on the Ranger Sign list to summon the pokemon since some signs were extremely difficult to draw (I'm looking at you, Ho-Oh >.> . Well, maybe when Ranger 4 comes, they'll fix this? Other than that, I enjoyed this game a lot. 9/10 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team: An enjoyable game. I really liked how different it was to the main games and Ranger. 8/10

I have not played a pokemans game in a long time! Fire red was the last I've played. I just finished Fallout: New Vegas. It's great, worth more than $60. There are endless things to do, I reloaded an earlier save so I can go back and explore alot more. +100 hours and I've only scratched the surface. 100X better than FO3.

Muramasa- The Demon Blade: I beat Kisuke's storyline and started on Momohime's. I loved how this game harkened back to games like the NES Ninja Gaiden and Strider- combining good action with a bit of style. The monsters and bosses were sights to behold and fight. You only see games like this once in a blue moon. Epic Mickey: I thoroughly enjoyed the exploration aspects of this twisted version of the Magic Kingdom. The Paint and Thinner system was fun to work with- you'd be surprised how certain puzzles are set up. Plus, the choices you make can impact how certain things go as you progress through the story. I won't say anything to spoil it, but this is one I would recommend checking out.
