I find these kinds of threads very amusing. Does anyone who posts here actually care to read what others said? I think everyone just wants a chance to make an easy post about themselves. The psychology behind it is notable. (Dang, I really have no better word to use than notable however I don't like the sound of it) *Hand raised* Erm, I do like reading what everyone else had posted, but I don't know what to say (other than, "Hey, cool you've beaten [insert name of game here]"?) Anyways, I had beaten Mega Man X4 as both X and Zero. What I found most interesting is that X's buddy got more animated scenes than poor X himself. Dr. Wily really gave me the shivers during one of Zero's flashbacks. I had also beaten Mega Man X5, to get all three endings. I must admit, I found it interesting how all three endings could fit into the Zero series. It's not hard to notice the series was supposed to end right there and then. I had defeated ZX Advent in Hard Mode (as Ashe). It's pretty cool to see that they're planning for a sequel. It's even more cool that it would lead to the Legends series. CAPCOM, please release ZX3 very soon with Legends 3 *puppy-dog eyes*

A double-header for this post.
I beat Riku's story for Kingdom Hearts Remix- Chain of Memories. I forgot about this one due to school and work, so that makes the whole kaboodle (beat Sora's a long time ago).
I also beat Tales of Monkey Island. A lot of the puzzles were a bit on the crazy side, you had next to no idea where to start. I had a lot of fun on figuring out certain parts of it.
Since I'm feeling nostalgic, next on the list is Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness..

I just beat Contra. FINALLY. OH MY GOD. If that wasn't one of the most satisfying games to beat, I don't know what is.

It's an old school pain in the neck with Death and Dracula, but after enduring the worst they had to give, it was satisfying to deliver aku soku zan- "swift death to evil."

I haven't played Super C as nearly as much as Contra, but I think I like it a bit more. So far I've gotten to the boss of level 4.

I completed Leon's two scenarios on RE2 and decided to move on to RE3 Nemesis like the Bad arse I thought I was. I even decided to go on and begin my introductory file on Hard Mode because I truly felt confident that the game would not give me too much trouble...
...Then Nemesis jumped through a window and nearly gave me a heart attack, then he chased me through a hall, then through a room and proceeded to shatter my delusions as he tossed me to the ground like a rag doll and followed up with a crunchy finish. (Crushing Jill's Head)
I got used to him eventually (Haulin' arse every time I ran into him) but now I really screwed myself over because I saved in the Clock tower and now I'm forced to face him in the hardest boss fight I have ever been thrust into.
Nemesis: 17 Me: 0
The scoreboard will update on occasion. Don't expect me to score any time soon until I master the art of dodging. (Hoo boy)

I can't help but fear this will cause a minor uproar..... ...I just beat MegaMan 10, normal mode. Time to complete: 1:54:23.

I recently beat Mana khemia 1 & 2 since then I've been working on FF12 and after getting eaten by dragons a few times I finally beat them and I'm on my way to the next part of the story. (I haven't even gotten MM9 or 10 yet. )

I don't get to play MegaMan 10 ‘til March 31 st because Capcom doesn't care about their fans who don't own a Wii. I played through Sonic CD a few times about a week or two back. I'd never gotten the good ending in that before; it took me a long time to gather up all the Chaos Emeralds Time Stones. Felt pretty good. Sonic CD is almost everything I wish SEGA would focus on for newer 2D Sonic's: if you so choose, you can beat the stages at break-neck speeds, but there's a good ending, an alternate boss stage at the final act, and a helluva lot of points in it for you if you take the time to go back to the past and shut down the machines/Metal Sonic holograms/etc. The bosses are interesting too, but they're also way too easy, and could've been more fleshed out. Like, I loved racing Metal Sonic, but I would've loved to fight him afterward. Spring Break is coming up soon, and I think I'm gonna get that Classic Sonic Marathon going in preparation for Sonic 4 this summer. (I won't have MegaMan 10 to play yet, after all ) At the very least I'm going to watch the cartoon. Maybe I should watch the MegaMan cartoon to get excited for MegaMan 10. Hmm... Just before Sonic CD, the last thing I “beat” was Bayonetta, by which I mean I beat it on Normal Mode. I'm halfway through Hard mode atm, and I only play in little bursts now that things have started getting crazy this semester. Hard Mode is considerably more challenging than Normal Mode; for now I'm just trying to improve my marks in the Normal Mode stages. I can't imagine how hard “Non-stop Infinite Climax” (Very Hard) Mode is going to be... o___o Anyway, it was quite a fun game; pretty over the top, like Devil May Cry 4, but beyond the first few stages the effect kind of wore thin. (yes, it's still over the top, but why do I care any more? DMC4 kept my interest a bit better) On the other hand, the references to other media were fun. Combos are very fluid, and incredibly fun at first, but in the end you just end up spamming the same combo over and over again. (P-K-P) That's about it really... I may sit down and finish Darksiders sometime soon. Maybe.

Yes, I do like reading about other people's games, thank you very much.
Not sure if this counts, but I recently finished playing a FreeSpace 2 campaign called Transcend. The gameplay itself could have been better, but it really was remarkable in that it took an action space shooter game and propelled it into the horror genre with a genuinely creepy storyline involving disappearing ships and mysterious nebulae. It's always interesting to see how far a moddable game engine can be stretched.
@green I've only played all the way through Sonic CD once. It's good, but I find the other three games to be more fun to play. I should probably try it again sometime before Sonic 4 comes out.
Also, I really ought to finish Super Metroid. I bought it on Virtual Console and have barely played it.

@tau For what it's worth, I found Sonic CD 1,000,000× better the second time around. There are some subtly different "routes" through each stage. The first time through, none of the stages felt fluid at all because I hadn't found the best route; I must've been lost in Stardust Speedway for six or seven whole minutes. >.< It's definitely a different feel from the other games.. the first time. The second time I felt much much more at home, and it played very much like the Sonic I'm used to. Even then I'd probably say I liked the Genesis trilogy (2-3&K-1) better, but if SEGA worked this formula in with something more like the Genesis games it would be truly amazing. (and as much as I'd like to hope they will — just as I'd like to hope Capcom would experiment more with the Classic MegaMan formula — I doubt it will happen.. ) Also, Super Metroid is #1 on my list of all-time favorite games. And that one also only gets better each time you play it. You'll probably find yourself using the normal/expected path the first time you finish it, but things like wall-jumping, shinesparking and (if you're really good) infinite bomb jumping open up so many possibilities early on. It's possible to beat the game with only 15% items; and doing so is entirely a matter of skill, exploiting techniques and physics to overcome obstacles. (I've come depressingly close to this, only to find I gathered the wrong 15%) Nintendo made “sequence breaking” much cheaper in Zero Mission and Fusion. (I've never actually done it in Fusion, but Zero Mission was a bit of a joke really; you're not actually doing anything you're not supposed to do by sequence breaking in that game, which really ruins the fun of it) But seriously, everything about that game is great. <3

The last game that I beat was Megaman 10. It's a lot more fun and balanced that MM9, in my opinion, and it's plenty challenging! I'm currently working on the game as Protoman, which is a lot more difficult due to his low stamina.
I also finally got around to unlocking (& beating) Ristar on Sonic Mega Collection not too long ago, which is a chore in itself. It's certainly worth it, however, and it's one of the best platformers I've ever played. The bosses are pretty unique and are often quite difficult (particularly the final boss), but once you get the mechanics of the game down pat they become a bit less bothersome.

I was bored so I went through Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran difficulty. Far easier than it should have been in my opinion.
I don't know if I'll play Megaman 10 or not, but right now I still have several PS3 games on my list so that decision will have to wait.

Why do so few people comment on what other people say? Anyway I'm about to go on spring break and my English teacher gave us a project to do just a few minutes ago. We have to view and then write on something that fits Classical Gothic themes. It can be a piece of writing, a story, a movie, a show or a video game. I plan on playing whatever I choose all the way through to the end, which is why I'm posting it here in the first place, so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to share (I have N64, Wii, PS1, PS3 and computer).
