my original edit:
My new reply:
i watched EP 3, and good job on it, but lord help me EP2 was bad, i actually laughed at a few things in EP3 though, Gramp's daydream, the short Marlwolf battle after the awesome music, the details on how long the first ruin took and btw: nice touch adding in SSB music there
overall EP3 was modestly great, better than both 1 and 2 (lord it far better than 2) i think i am looking forward to seeing where this goes...

Sheesh, man, you're harsh. There's something you need to realize. That was episode 2. I didn't really get the hang of this until episode 4 or so. I'm currently working on episode 9. Yeah, the early episodes could have been better. There's no denying that; I was learning. They are what they are. I'm sorry if you don't like them. If you feel you could do a better series, please do so. I'm not LittleKuriboh, and I've never tried to be.

i was only harsh because of one fact: TAS's are meant to be funny, and EP2 actually made me bored, which btw doesnt equal funny
and yes i do understand that you were learning as you went along, but still, my point has been said and cant be unsaid
i havent time for ep4 at this moment but will let you know what i think when i do watch it

Yes, they are meant to be funny, but there's another fact about TAS's: the majority of them are made by amateurs learning as they go and gradually improving over time. In my experience, it's rare to find a series that doesn't start out a bit shaky. Even the great LittleKuriboh, whom apparently no one can match, started out a bit rough. If you judge someone's work as a whole by their earliest episodes, you're bound to irk them a bit.
You can criticise all you want, but in reality, I'm only going to be really paying attention to it once you get to the later episodes. I don't mean to sound like a jerk; it's just that I've learned a lot since then. You aren't telling me anything I don't already know.
But on the other hand, I'm glad you liked episode 3. That's where things started to click for me.

You know what really grinds my gears? When I get in trouble for making a post with only four words in it, while other members get away with calling someone's brilliant fan work "crap" three times in one post! Sure, it could use some more female voice actors, and maybe a few more obvious Wilhelm screams, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it "crap". In fact, I think it was pretty good. I give "The Wrath of Tron" two thumbs u-- TROOOOOOOOOON! TROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! TROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Cleveland, buddy, take it easy. Four word post infractions are like pennies: even when you have a lot of them, it doesn't get you much.
Aw Heck(adam?), there's a fine line between constructive criticism and just being cruel. You must've missed it; it's about a mile back that-a-way.
I think I already commented on the latest video so I don't have much else to say...

IMO Little Kuroboh's not that great anymore. His episodes are constantly self referencing and breaking the fourth wall. He's begun to parody himself rather than the shows themselves. The bad part about that is that you can't understand the later self referencing stuff without first watching the earlier good stuff.
I think that's exactly what TauVertex has going for him. There's a new sort of humor in each attempt and you certainly don't have to watch the episodes in any particular order to 'get them.'
Adam, whether or not ep2 sucked, that goose is already dead. There's no use in shooting it. Pretty sure that's why everyone's grinding their gears.

LK is breaking that fourth wall because he's earned the right to do so
to green: yeah i know, but the thing is, if any series deosnt hook me by the fifth episode, anime or TAS, i give up on it, and i watch ep1-ep5 in order before determining, and ep2 nearly turned me away from ANY MML-TAS attempt, thats why i shot myself over the cliff there
to Qwertman: maybe the goose is dead, and maybe i am doing overkill on something already overkilled, but i'm just being open and honest, it's my style, the way i work, if my Fiancé gives me a dirty thought, i tell her exactly that she did such, aw ehck even in church i admit it, simply my style even if "the goose is dead" and Please please please call me aw heck from now on!
back to all: LK's stuff is still good aw heck i havent even seen it front to back in order (i did watch all five of the first few episodes and yes i liked it) but after ep1-ep5 of Ygotas, i began jumping around, i dont even know what the fourth-wall is btw and i still laugh at it, simply put: no you dont need to see all of ygotas to catch the jokes,
overall i still have hope for MML-TAS'es but i'm just getting at the point EP2 could be redone

@aw Heck
Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but there's a tactful way to express it without generally being rude about it. Calling someone's work 'crap' is a far cry from constructive criticism. It's also a little unfair to pass judgement based on the first 2-3 episodes that you've seen. That's like judging a professional artist by a doodle that they drew when they were 10 years old. I can attest to the fact that TauVertex's work has greatly improved as he's gone on with the series.
Everyone, no matter who they were, started out rough. Einstein failed math, Michael Jordan was terrible in high school, etc. Try to give people a chance before doling out swift--and often harsh--judgements. ;D
LK is breaking that fourth wall because he's earned the right to do so i dont even know what the fourth-wall is btw Fourth Wall

Well I think that everything there is funny/interesting. But Since Aw Heck is pointing downsides I also have one:
Well its becasue some jokes will not be understood if the wather isn't into Legends games, maybe some parts should have the topics more wider and more known...
I think that is all, overall its a very good TAS and I can't wait for the next episode.

Well its becasue some jokes will not be understood if the wather isn't into Legends games, maybe some parts should have the topics more wider and more known.... pretty much any TAS is this way, even LK cant break that... anyhow i'm under the understandment i went a huge bit overboard, i wish to express an apology, i've just always been openminded saying/typing the first few words to my mind, my apologies if i hit a few blows too low. i will refrain from posting in this thread from now on to avoid said overopenness in the future

Tough love is two words. Don't forget the latter when critiquing something someone sweated and bled over. Tau obviously put time and effort into these, even if he's modest about it. And really, these only get better, so I doubt you'll be disappointed by any of the following episodes... Unless of course you were hoping they would be bad. Anyway, I think it goes without saying that we'd like to know how the new episode is shaping up and when it'll be up...
