Thanks man. The main idea of that trailer was to show how it is tranformed into 3D to RPG. Yes, I am using RPG Maker.
Did i mention i animated that 3d hanmurudoll on the trailer?

I dunno...I see a lot of legal issues coming up...not just cause of the game, but the music copyrights as well... A 2D Legends game...I would probably be more enthusiastic about this if it were being created for the GBA...I was really hoping it would've been a 3D game with higher-res graphics. This kinda reminds me of what that guy is doing, converting GTAIII to an NES rom... Grand Theftendo. It's not so much going to be exciting to play, it's just a novelty thing. BTW, I'd make the maps/rooms way bigger. If you run MM64 on an emu there's a fault in the video plugin that shows a ton of seams on the ground (that conviently create a grid) which you can use to base your level tiles on. It's what I used to create a map of Kattelox for myself.

Sounds like a plan, but about the legal issues....I say on the game credits and everything....If capcom wants to claim the game...they can.

The trailer looked pretty nice for a fan project. Although, excuse me for this, I have to wonder:
"6 - build the story to a game."
Shouldn't the story come first? That way, you would know how long to go, what characters are needed, etc, etc.
Edit: Wait, working N64 emulators are finally out? Sign me up!

can't build it if you don't got the Reaver (Bosses) or the bonne characters animated...also how then you also need the maps....see i know the whole story by heart....but i just need to program it yet. and then i need to get the special weapons to work so when you get the mine parts kit that you can get the splash mine. Well anyway the first forum I mde for MML RPG obviously died, but I'm gonna bring it back. So you can now ask questions and i'll answer

I'll tell you everything that will feature in the game that i have thought up of so far...
It will be MML1 with the story and everything in RPG format, yes. BUt... There will be 10 secret ruins that each reward you with something new in the game...as example a green refractor... or a new special weapon piece, something that makes a gravity buster... But besides the secret things...the things that will be found in the optional ruins in more places will be things like a Flame Thrower Arm and like a Ray Buster in the sub cities...Yes, something in the sub city besides a key...but it will be hidden, so keep your eyes out for it when you play the game. Also besides that the music might be switches up...like there were be music playing in the game over screen instead of the one time dun dunnnn thing...and maybe a ruins might play something a bit different because i couldn't find a midi file of the theme.....and battle music and everything like that. There will be even more things to do on KAttelox...Example of it being things with the inspector in the original legends....well in the RPG you could build you own club house or something....i dunno exactly if i'll do that or not but i'll have the game alot more in depth with gameplay...like now i just remembered.....I'm gonna have it when you work your way to marlwolf....you could drive a Bonne Tank...and if you search somewhere in Cardon Forest.....you could ride a Drache any time you want to get to places faster if you don't wish to use the support car...(Wish me luck on the Support car because programming all of that stuff is gonna be a pain.) Also there will be something hidden in Lake Jyun possibly...like instead of going onto the boat and instantly appearing at the ruins (After you beat the bonnes) you could float around anywhere you want also.... Like i might also make it so you could go on a dig with the junk store owner also.... Other than the time you had to rescue him....It's gonna be so remade you might not recognize such work of one person....i'm not trying to show off or anything but I'm doing alot of work for being one person. I promise to make the best game i possibly can for you guys. But for Megaman LEgends Return to KAttelox...wow....I'm gonna have you start off going to KAttelox and everything...but I'll be adding in something awesome that will make the game a huge file....You'll be able to go to all of the Legends two maps also...Yes, you fly around on the flutter on the map to transport youself off of Yosyonke to KAttelox....what ever....yeah, but that wil be in XP....

I'm sorry for the wait guys but now the Trailer is finally here for Megaman Legends RPG. I'm sorry for how it takes awhile to load, but it is definatly worth the wait. This is looking absolutely GREAT, matthew. Keep up the good work, and I'll look forward to it! Oh, and one thing though. MegaMan Legends itself IS an RPG, it says so on the Japanese covers of both DASH 1 and 2 on both PSX and PSP, it's just a FREE-ROAM RPG, as opposed to a Turn-Based, like the game you're making. Just letting you know, in case you might want to alter it a bit. Other than that, wow, I'm thoroughly impressed. Great job, and you've my FULL support. By the way, as far as Return to Kattelox goes, you might want to expand on it a bit, rather than just having the normal sized map we had in Legends 1. I don't know, but I'm a little sick of that map... FAR too familiar with it. I want something new, just a suggestion.

Thanks man....well I'm not sure if you guys read it, but I'm probably gonna add more sections to kattelox....Downtown, Uptown, Cityhall, Old City, maybe just City...i dunno.... and also i animated the Hanmurudoll on the trailer in 3ds max 7...now you guys know what i mean wanting to go into graphic design. You'll also be able to go anywhere from legends 2 like nino, and saul in MMLRTK...

Hah, "Trigger, with moveable fingers?!?!?!" But yeah, if you can upload them, I'd love to see them. You might want to try geocities, but they have a low bandwidth problem, where after enough views, the site and all of its contents won't work for a while, about an hour at a time.

Cool, well ive looked over the game and i'm making faster progress than i thought, This game might come out even earlier....two good reasons to it also...i could start on MML RTK....and then i dont have to try my best to keep you guys interested in it.

That sounds really awesome. It's funny, considering that your game will most likely be out before DASH's 10th anniversary. Well anyway, PM me or IM me on AIM if you've any updates, I'd love to see more, and keep it up, it looks really professional.

Thanks...I'm only a Freshman lol....well anyway I haven't even taken one computer class wait....guys, im warning you now.....wait till next year....im taking all my electives to be computer programming, game designing, and graphic designing....so I'll be making games for you guys to just give all of us something to do because capcom is sort of lazy or they're thinking really hard on a new ending....well anyway whats also awesome is the fact that all these games im making could go towards proof to collages and companies that im a true devoted game and graphic designer and also that im experienced so far in the minor parts of game designing.....Well thats all i have to say now anyway, have a nice day guys...i got to work on the Battle programming still
Ok see i hatee how you have to modify a post even though this what im typing now is like 2 weeks later.....Well anyway.....The battle programming is going horrible..so im very glad it has the due date of December 13, 2006....Well someone please ask something...lol
