Ughhhh... I would like to apologize for my absense... My family and I had gone to Colombia to help out some relatives and I had no internet access down there... But anyway, I would like to say that I am back in the United States and I am redoing my whole game on RMXP. While I was in Colombia I had a lot of time to plan things out for this game and I have made a nice storyline to go along with it. So hopefully, no other plans will come up that will get in the way of production

Hi, I'm new and I'm making a Megaman Legends RPG called Megaman Legends: Aftermath that takes place after MML 2 and yes I am using RM2k3 to make it. I started it back in June, but I had to go to a college camp for two months, so I was set back and almost completely forgot about the game. Now I am working on it again and yes I know there are other RM2k3 fan games being made, but I'm attempting to make this one as unique as possible. I got someone to make me a flash movie for the introduction credits to the game and my friend who is an artist said he will help with the concept art and sprites. Here is the wetpaint website megaman-rpg.wetpaint.com/page/screenshots( which is not finished yet) ;D but it has about five screenshots from the game and some information on the storyline which I am still brainstorming on.
I am also just finishing up the Elysium maps (which is in the beginning of the game) and will be moving on to creating the world of Terra.
features so far:
-You will be able to play as Megaman, Roll, and Tron.
-Sideview battle system using namco x capcom sprites for battle chars.
-special summon skills, characters can call out beloved characters such as Teisel Bonne, Bon Bonne, Data, servbots,and other special characters to attack the enemy.
-Lol, a fire-extinguisher mini-game ( I was tired of making maps for the day so I decided to make this silly mini-game, based off the one in MML2, that I would integrate later into the game, there should be a screenshot of it on the Webpaint site)
-So far I've created 20 reaverbot charsets and battle sprites for the game (there are no new reaverbots yet, just one's from previous games)
-I have about 20 differents skills for each character so far.
-yeah the game is 2d ;D
-o and I've made about 10 weapons for each character so far.
My goals for next year:
-finish up all the maps and rooms in the game.
-integrate the story-line into the game.
-create new reaverbots from my friend's concept art.
-work on the battle system
-make new silly mini-games such as the fire-extinguisher. ( I was thinking of making a servbot rescue minigame, but for now I'm busy with other thingys so no promises on that)
-finish up the game and make a new a reliable website
I am very excited about making this, hopefully I won't have to go back to camp. Anyway when my friend finsihes the flash intro credits I'll be sure to post it on youtube. Oh and if you missed the website up in all that crud of text here it is here:

New Feature:
Day and Night system created. You will discover different reaverbots in ruins and on land due to what time of day it is.
Day, Dusk, Night, and Dawn. It's seamless, so when you go inside somewhere the tint of the screen doesn't change to dusk, dawn, night, so yeah.
New Goals: Recreate Kattelox, Yosyonke, Calinca etc.
Make new explorable islands on Terra

[glow=red,2,300]Good news[/glow]: I've just finished the CItyhall and Downtown districts of Kattelox Island. I've just posted the screenshots on my site. At the moment I am working on the Apple Market, the other districts, forests and ruins.
New Goal:
Always wanted to know what was in those surrounding woods in Megaman Legends, but you weren't able to explore them thanks to the invisible walls that kept you in the playing area? Well, I'm planning to add new places to explore including ruins, digger camps, caves, small villages, and more. And this feature doesnt just go to Kattelox Island, but all the recreated islands you've played in the MML series along with new islands.

I'm still working on the project. As for the site, I think I'm going to make a new one, but feel free to check the current one for screenshots and some info on the story.
As of right now I am finishing up my kattelox island and will be moving on to making a new island with a kind of oriental theme to it. Not sure of the name at the moment, but I will place screenshots on my current wetpaint site of the island and it's ruins.
As for characters:
There will be a mysterious return of Juno at the beginning of the game, but of course Megaman will defeat him again.
Glyde will come back of course
Lex Loathe, not sure yet
Bola and Klaymoor will return
The Bonnes will definitely be back as your "Allies"
Bleucher
Yuna(Matilda body) and Sera(Yuna body) will be back
and a bunch of extra characters from recent games, like Appo and Dah, Amelia (the mayor of kattelox), etc
Note: I will not be bringing back Zero, Bass, Megaman X lol
As for new characters:
I'm still trying to brainstorm on this... I have a few ideas flowing through my head. here some of the ideas I have:
-An unknown character who shares a huge resemblance to Master, and he appears randomly in the game to help out Megaman when he's in trouble. (Friend or Foe?)
-The Master Purifiers ( I'm thinking of making three Purifiers who are awoken when the Elder System is turned on and their key objective is to destroy "The Mother Lode" and defeat Megaman )(Obvious Villains)
- I was thinking of making some kind of a Carbon bounty hunter (Like a Megaman Legends version of Boba Fett) who chases Megaman and company for The Master Purifiers, not sure what he would look like though.
I'll be sure to post up conceptual Art soon

Made an intro for the beginning of my game using the HP muvee autoproducer. Well, technically I didn't make it, since the "autoproducer" puts all the images in beat with the music for you. Anyway, I thought the muvee software was pretty cool and easy, so I used it and I thought the outcome of the intro was pretty cool.
The materials I used was artwork from Megaman Legends, which I found mostly on MMLS, gracias
That NxC song, (I might use a different song for this intro.)
Also, If anyone could give me information on any good computer recording programs out there, I would appreciate it. I had the snagit trial, but sadly the trial is over , so I need a new "free" program if possible, thnx

Thankfully I've found a good screen capture program for recording the game. I will soon put up on Youtube a sneakpeek of the game's general "walking around and exploring," the developing fire extinguisher mini game, my remade rm2k3 version of Kattelox downtown and cityhall areas, and I will show the battle system. I will probably have the video done by tomorrow
