See that number in the Url? MMLS runs on server 7, and all boards 1-20 are being upgraded. So if yours is past 20, you'll have to wait longer. Upgrading usually takes about 48 hours or so. The other stuff fab mentioned looks cool though, I can't wait till I get it!
You always start a sentence with a capital letter.

You always start a sentence with a capital letter.
But "fab" is a name. therefore it's exempt from that rule. It's like an Improper Noun. ;D

True. But it's not an everyday thing that names aren't capitalized. Also, you can now forum jump to the home page!

Methinks it's time to consider the rp board again. After all, v.4 is FINALLY out.

Another new feature is when you are typing stuff in the Reply thing, you don't have to type it inside the USSB codes or whatever they are called.
You can just highlight what you want and click on the tag that you want, then it puts the thigns around it instead of you having to write it inside... It is kinda useful!

BRG, the RP board has never been OFF our list of "considerations." We've been preparing for it as much as possible in the absence of V4, but there's still a little work to do on it, including getting some more staff members, I believe. So like... Check back when it's been more than three days?

I was viewing this page. This stuff seems cool, but fab gets to have all the fun. From what I hear, they even have a 'BUMP' button. I wonder how long it will take to get to servers 21-47. It feels like Christmas Eve.

I'd just like to point out to the person who inquired about the RP board
Also I totally love the highlight and push the button thingy... I been wishin Proboards had that for like a year now... ;D

Well, the bump button is totally against the rules, so we won't be using that much. Sticky works just as well for important things. And yeah, RP boards are to be forth coming, from what I hear. fab's SUPER busy now with other projects and updating the other parts of the forums to do it now, but rest assured, it's coming!

Actually, the bump button should make the bump rule even clearer. In my opinion, I'd like to see the rule modified so that members are not allowed to bump but may PM a staff member to have a topic bumped at their discretion (since I believe ONLY staff members have it). I can actually think of a few instances in which bumping would be necessary, but they do exist. JMC asked for permission to bump his system requirements topics a while ago to get more of a response and I gave him permission. Of course, bumping when you have something to add to an old topic is always okay. It's not really, "bumping" I guess. It's elaborating.

Ooh, a loophole. Loopholes are always fun. A role-playing board? That's an excellent idea. The necessary programming aside, a lack of moderators can be easily rectified. In fact, looking at how things are now, I'm surprised that these forums work so well. It seems awfully understaffed. But perhaps that's just my lack of forum experience talking... Also, it doesn't seem like the presence of a bump button wouldn't be bad at all. On the contrary, any options proboards may have added during the upgrade can’t be a bad thing. It will simply give the administrators that much more flexibility.

Is it just me, or are the refractors still spinning even though you've seen the newest post in a board?? In any case, it's happening to me, and it's quite annoying. But I must say that I do love the way they add which thread a post was posted in.

Ohh, is that what the spinning refractor meant? Heh. Never knew that. Well, if that is how it's supposed to work, it doesn't seem to be working properly. According to it, I haven't read the newest post on this board.

I think the bump rule fab has was simply to stop members from posting stuff like "This is a cute topic BUMP"
So if a bump button automatically sends it to the top with no posts posted, then it might not be the same as what fab had in mind when he first made that bump rule...
The refractors spinning means a new post has been made since you last visited. If it's still spinning even though you have read the new posts, someone else must have posted somewhere else without you noticing... If you are pretty sure you have read everything just go to the bottom of the home page and click "Marked as read"

OMG, how long have I been here??? You think I don't know that??? Of course the spinning means it's new! And yeah, I have read every post. It's not like I just ASSUME stuff as true, like I know more than people. It didn't do this before the V4 update so I BELIEVE (not assume) that it has something to do with that. As seen by MLT, this has been happening to others as well. It's very very very VERY annoying. So, yeah...
