Welcome to the "Grinds My Gears" game thread (inspired by the show Family Guy)
Rules are simple. First inquire, "Ya' know what really grinds my gears?", then answer it. Not that hard. The only difficulty behind it, is coming up with something funny... Remember, try not to be too offensive. Contreversy is alright, but only to some extent. Allow me to kick off the game with a demonstration:
Ya' know what really grinds my gears?
That little "Tear Here" message, noted on the side of those "Knotts Premium Cookies" bags. I mean, what the hell, there's no slit, no indentation whatsoever. How helpful is that? "Tear here"... They might as well have just given you a rubix cube, with a sticky on it reading "Solve here". It'd have the same confusing effect.

Ya' know what really grinds my gears? When people ask "And how are WE doing today?" Seriously, do they expect me to know how they're doing too?

Ya' know what really grinds my gears?
When the prince of persia uses his dagger of time to come back if they kill him, i mean, how can he use his dagger if he's already dead?

Ya'* know what really grinds my gears?
When you can't find the droids you're looking for.
note: I only posted here because I can't believe Shift didn't put that one up; it was IN the show in question.
*Honestly, now, does "ya" really merit an apostrophe? It's not as though something would go after the "a".

Ya' know what really grinds my gears?
when someone keeps calling you, asking for the same person you have no idea who thier talking about, seven times after you tell them it's the wrong number! How dense can a person be to do something like that?

Ah, this should be fun. Let's see if we can get it p4wn!
You know what really causes irregularities within my internal clockwork?
Legend of Heroes! I mean, come on! Aren't Legends supposed to be good? Final Fantasy Legends, Megaman Legends, now those were some real legends of heroes! But here we have the "Ye Olde School" RPG, venturing bravely onto the PSP to shower the easily pleased with intense, depthful, amazing RPG action and storylines! Wow, look at my main character! A guy with a red bandana and a sword name Avin! Now there's creativity at work right there! And what in the world are these monsters supposed to be? The Hamikages look like rock candy, confined into the same sprite space as all of the other characters and monsters! Not going to get any $19.00 crab legs meals off of this guy, I assure you. And whoa ho, what do we have here? A gauge that builds up when you take or give damage! At least Lufia's IP gauge gives me choices! But no, Avin thinks he'll get off with his "Sonic Sword." Anything to please the kiddies, right Avin? And dialogue, what embracing chatter! It's good enough to market alone, I'd say! Mistyping in every single line of speech is for "local color" obviously, to represent the lack of education in the native kingdom.

Celeberties! Man, they are such attention whores. I mean, seriously. Well, most of them don't want the attention, but the poperatzi think THEY do want the attention. So the celeberties hire body gaurds, and someone always DIES!
Damn, why does anyone CARE? So what, they can act, or sing, ITS JUST A TALENT! They shouldn't even get PAID that much money. I think they should stop paying little Jessica Simpson over there like theres no tommorow and pay the people who actually WORK HARD. Like teachers. And stuff.
Seriously, celeberties are way too over rated. Now and days they don't even give the talented people a shot, they just say "Your Gorgeous, or, Your hideous and get off of my stage before you infect this place." <_<.

You want to know what REALLY grinds my gears? Reality TV. That has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of in my life. And it covers subjects no one is ever interested in. I gag everytime some major network comes up with some really idiotic new show of the nature and try to make it into a huge sensation. If I have to hear about another season of Survivor or American Idol, I'm taking the next plane to Hollywood, find the punks responsible and grind them into powdered calcium deposits!

Pointless PMs. I mean, c'mon, why waste a PM with eclipses, or saying "Hi" to someone you already know? "Oh look, there's 1 minute of my life going away." Aaauiggghhhh!! And then there's not much you can say about pointless PMs, because they're just so, well, grr, POINTLESS!!!*
* I made it up.

n00bs.
There is a difference between n00bs and newbies. Newbies are well... New. Learning about the game, the rules, and such. But n00bs...
Just yak yak blah yak about n00bish things, and 'omg lolz u r stewpd lmao' and 'u got pwn3d' every three lines. You know why I said lines? Because half of the registered n00b population can't even type a sentance. >_>
And the worst breed of n00bs.... The arrogent n00b.
n00-b (knew-b) n. 1. A high level player on an MMORPG (see online gaming) or an experienced being at a game of any sort, expressing qualities of arrogance and/or hostility, and surprisingly un-accurate assumptions. 2. Constant childish acts, often described as those of selfish '9-year-olds' in older people, bickering pointlessly or expressing an opinion to excessivly. 3. See idiocy.

Ya know what really grinds my gears? Fire Heat in Jade Cocoon 2.
I'm sure not many have played this, so let me set the stage. You've just beat the game, and by revealing the fifth forests and beating three of them, you're sure you're as hot as you thought you were. But guess what? That forest you were saving for last? Yeah, it's the fire forest.
This forest is full of enemies that, if you are not sure are dead or unconcious, are most likely tearing you limb from limb. You don't have to know how the game works to know how annoying it is. You open up with groups of 3 monsters capable of killing one of your weak monsters and hitting the two you have next to him, and gradually move on to a group of 2 with tons of HP and the ability to INSTANTLY kill a whole side of your monsters with one attack.
Add to that that every room you enter has either a Hellfire Book or a Lovely Gem in it, and that those that don't likely contain a story sequence (which makes trying to glide through the area quickly dangerous), it is easily enough to waste hours upon hours of one's day with no progess at all in sight.

The fact that when you try to listen to the radio in the car, they play like two songs and everything else is talk and commercials. Usually people listen to the radio to hear MUSIC, not talking.
And yes, I do know that XM radio exists...but I don't have it, so I'm stuck listening to commercials.

Do you want to know what grinds my gears to a point where the whole gearworks collapse to an irrepairable mess of ruin?
When you get these calls from such-and-such, trying to get you into something you're not interested in whatsoever. Then the operater dosen't get the message through his thick head and keeps insisting on pestering you about it for 15+ minutes until you're so fed up you explode on the guy just so he'll go away.
That, ladies and gentlemen is what really grinds my gears..
