I enter the Clozer Woods Sub-Gate. Wow, this place seems spookier than other ruins...
"I've never seen a site like this before...There's a big pit in the middle,
and I can't get any readings from inside...I wonder what could be in there?", Roll says.
I cautiously look into the pit, and jump in.
"MegaMan? Are you OK? Can you see a door somewhere?", Roll asks.
Yes there is. I walk to it.
"Not that one, the door behind you!" Roll says.
"Wat?! Behind me?! You could've said that!"
Oh wait. Does Roll have a map display? Maybe not. I enter into someplace that looks like a control room.
"I can't get any readings of that room," Roll says, "MegaMan, my monitor's completely
blank...Take a look around and let me know what you see!"
I notice a control panel and walk to it.
"It's my guess that the power's out in that room," Roll says, "...Can you see a switch
anywhere?"
"I don't see any switches, but there's some writing here," I say. I difficultly read the writing to Roll.
"Operations Room 2: Emergency System activation requires direct password
input from Eden or the insertion of three Level 2 or higher Prototype Anthro Unit
ID cards."
"What's a Prototype Anthro Unit?" Roll asks. "I've never heard of that before...Well,
whatever that is, you need three ID cards, right? If we're lucky, you'll be able
to find them inside there..."
I explore the ruins, fighting Sharukurusus and Gorubeshus, until I find an elevator.
"Looks like the power's off there too" Roll says, "...Maybe you'll be able to find the
generator somewhere in there...?"
I look around until I find it.
"That looks like the generator you've been looking for," Roll says, "...Can you get it to
work?
I activate a switch on the generator.
"All right! You should be able to get the elevator to work now!"
I quickly return to the elevator and enter it.
After I enter the elevator, Roll asks, "Hey, MegaMan...Have you ever wondered where the Reaverbots came from? I mean, who made them, and why?"
I also wonder about the Reaverbots. Who really did build them? Some ancient civilization? Why were they created? Is it just to guard refractors? The elevator starts lowering.
Roll continues talking, "You know, we go around doing digs all over the place, but...Is it right? It's almost like stealing..."
I consider that too. What would happen if diggers went through enough digs? Would something happen, like a punishment? This could be important. The world is small enough as it it already.
The elevator stops.
Then Roll warns, "MegaMan! I'm picking up three Reaverbots close by! Watch out!"
I run out of the elevator so I don't get trapped. Whoa! I've never seen these giant wolf-like Reaverbots before! I stay focused and cautious.
The Reaverbots circle me, and strike like the animals of the same appearance. I dodge two, then BAM! One slams right into me! I quickly get up and risk a MegaBuster shot at one. It barely feels it. This will take a while. I hope I don't become tired by then. Two of the Reaverbots charges at me again while the third shoots a flamethrower! I dodge with much more skill this time. Once the third Reaverbot finished it's fiery assault, I plant a grenade from my grenade arm into its mouth.
KABOOM!!! The Reaverbot's head explodes, throwing melting metal pieces everywhere. Now I can concentrate on the remaining two Reaverbots.
I start running around, shooting a Reaverbot while keeping and eye on the other one. I damage it enough to make the Reaverbot slow down. It opens its mouth, and I plant a grenade into it too.
BOOM!!! Another satisfying blast. I can now concentrate on the last one.
Since there is only one Reaverbot left, I easily dodge its strikes and flamethrowers, all the while shooting it. It eventually explodes too.
"I'm not picking up anymore Reaverbot signals," Roll announces, "...I think it's safe..."
I take a breather for a while and start searching for the ID cards.
After I find all three ID cards, I re-enter the control room. I put the ID cards into the slots.
"Checking ID cards," the control panel announces, "... ... ...Prototype Anthro Unit ID confirmed. Emergency System activated."
"This is it." I say, "Once I'm inside the Main Gate, I should be able to figure
out why the Reaverbots activated."
And then I realize.
"But, how can I read these ancient letters?"
Meanwhile, the Main Gate opens...
"I've never seen a site like this before...There's a big pit in the middle,
