zoms (n.) Playable characters or objects serving similar functions in any video game that are not the starting or main character, but have such low stats or useless functions that you never use them except out of curiosity. Due to disdain for these creatures, it is customary to not capitalize the word, even at the beginning of the sentence. The word "zom" does not even exist, because simply referring to one zom would be a waste of your time.
