Well, with a new semester, comes new animes, I don't watch as many as last semester, so I have less to talk about.
Coincidentally, one that I am watching right now is one that Rockbuster posted, Macross! Although, I've kind of stopped following the story up until recently as I find things to be quite weird...not many things seem to make sense.
An anime that I simply adore, is Kurenai, I just watched the last two episodes today!
It's about a sixteen year-old "negociator" of sorts who's put in charge of looking after a seven year-old girl who happens to be part of a wealthy and plutocratic family, the Kuhouins. The little girl (Murasaki Kuhouin) like all women in her family, was confined in a small room called the "Inner Sanctuary", where she is to stay there, without any interaction from the outside world until she fullfills her purpose, which is simply to have children and carry on the family name.
When I first watched this, I found it quite strange (missing the first two episodes didn't help) but as I continued watching, I found it more and more interesting. It's slower and more dramatic than most animes (most that I've seen, anyway) and it has a slice-of-life feel to it, but it's worth watching. The characters are interesting for the most part, and the plot, although slow-moving, gets quite engaging later on. Unfortunately, the show only has twelve episodes.
I saw the last two episodes today, and I must say, it's become one of my favurite animes. There isn't a single character that I don't like (only one that slightly annoys me, lol).
