Has anyone ever played megaman zero 3? Is it just me, or is it really easy . I bought it expecting it to be super hard, because the Zero series is known for being hard, and I'll admit the begining was hard, but then it started getting easier and I played through the rest without a scratch until the last fight, which was hard!! Also, I've been looking for zero 1 and 2 but can't find them anywhere, does anyone know where I might find them?

Ok, before I start my reply, I'd like to point out that this is a Legends site. Of course, since you posted in the General Discussion area, you have done no wrong doing. Be aware, though, that there are many people at MMLS who dislike/hate/bash the X & Zero series (MMBN suffers the same fate, but not as much). X & Zero series discussion is permitted, but don't be surprised if series bashing/flaming or general hate and negativity spawn. Example Threads: X & Zero are Homosexual Thread Bashing the X Series ThreadOn to the reply then: I've always found the GBA MegaMan games (Zero 1-4, and MMBN 1-5) to be rather easy. Perhaps it's like that cause most GBA games are, IMO, aimed at younger kids (I'm assuming most people here are about 15-16 or older). I believe the saying "Practice makes perfect" would fit well here. That, and often games will get slightly easier as the game goes on because if it just keeps getting harder, what's the likelihood you'll, say, whip your controller (or in this case, whole GBA) across the room and not complete the game cause your ticked at it (and the controller/GBA broke)? It's important for a game maker to make a game so that the buyer will look forward to a sequel. If one can't get through 1 game, why would they want to bother on a sequel? As for locating a copy of Zero and Zero 2, try either local video game store's discount bins, eBay or other online auction sites. I'm sure, however, there are less "conventional" methods that you could get a copy, but such methods may be illegal in your place of residence. *remembers a huge thread on a pirate chinese version of RMD2 for the PC*

I often see MegaMan Zero and MegaMan Zero 2 at EB. I see 'em at GameStop too, but the bastards charge a little more, last time I checked.
@ Chiz: MegaMan Zero most certainly wasn't aimed at a younger audience. My gosh, I remember first reading about it and not believing it. ...I still don't understand why robots would bleed(carbons maybe, but I don't think I've ever seen one do that), but for some reason they felt the need to throw that in.
Anyway, all that said, I've never played a Zero game apart from the first one, because I seriously don't like it. Just kinda bleh. So I wouldn't know a thing as to Zero 3's difficulty.

Mega Man Zero, easy?! I can't even get past the intro stage on the first one since that boss has a time limit and all...if the boss doesn't kill me, the time limit does! But Ebay should have copies of MMZ and MMZ2 since they aren't that rare yet. Oh, and don't ask why I own those games if don't like them and I can't even get past the intro--it's a long story .

I have been to every EB store I could find and all I could find was megaman zero 3, which I already had. As for gamestop, well I live in Canada . But thanks for your help anyway, I appreciate it. By the way, why doesn't anyone like the zero, X or battle network series . I mean sure it doesn't have that legends 'feel' to it but it's still pretty good.

Simply put, they're over rated pieces of crap with storylines and characters that aren't HALF as good as the ones in Legends, but yet they sold more and as a result have continued to the point of sheer stupid redundancy(OMG! you killed Zero! OMG!! wtf? Zero's back from the ded!! @_@), while Legends sits untouched for more than half a decade. You know you COULD just look at the topics Chiz mentioned and you'd probably get a better description there.
There's a lot less hate for MMBN though. That's like a hopeful sign that gamers are more openminded now. No more "That's NOT MegaMan!" arguements.
Have you ASKED at EB if they have the game? Cuz they usually have a bunch of used games. You won't get the box or instruction manual, but they probably should have the game.

why doesn't anyone like the zero, X or battle network series . I mean sure it doesn't have that legends 'feel' to it but it's still pretty good. I couldn't really speak for the ignorant masses as to why everyone bashes MMZ, MMX, and MMBN, but I can give you some insight as to why I personally don't like them: I don't like X because the plot just doens't interest me, at all. My brother happens to like it a lot, so I own all of the games. The only MMX game I actually cared for ever was X4, because Iris and Colonel were just plain awesome and kind of reminded me of the Bonne family in some odd, obscure way. Even though the mechanics are almost identical to those in the original MM series, MM is a lot more lighthearted in nature, which serves to offer some explanation as to why I like it better. But MMX, especially MMX5 and on, has done nothing except bore me to death, and Axl really annoys me. I hope all the rumors bouncing around of a Mega Man Axl series are only rumors. I also don't like the Mega Man Zero series. Even though I know next to nothing about the story, I still can't stand it because IT'S TOO DANG HARD TO EVEN GET TO THE PART WHERE THE STORY COMES IN TO PLAY! After a year or so I got to the part where you select the level you wish to attempt in MMZ2, but not much farther. I'll be an old hag before I beat that series. Just give me a bunch of spoilers, and I'll pretend I wasted hundreds of hours just to get past the intro, thank you very much. Now, for the coup de grace, our old favorite, Mega Man Battle Network. The reason I continue to buy each and every game is to seek out every Legends cameo in all the little cartridges. That's it. Because like Pitch said, MMBN games are "overrated pieces of crap with storylines and characters that aren't HALF as good as the ones in Legends". I would actually have no complaints about Battle Network if they'd stopped making them at, say, MMBN2. But no, not only do they have to churn out like five every year, all the later ones come with MULTIPLE VERSIONS, some of which have MML cameos exclusive to only ONE version! Battle Network was good the first time, but now that I have owned and played all of them up to MMBN4, I can honestly say that it's getting rather redundant. Capcom should just finish the series and let it rot and die. If it sounds harsh, good. Battle Network is my least favorite out of the many Mega Men, and as I see it, tangible proof of Crapcom's utter and complete laziness. I hope this sheds some light onto the mystery, and I hope you don't take too much offense to what I've said about these games. Then again, you DID ask why people don't like them...

Zero 3 wasn't that hard but it still was hard.
And as for all this "hate". I played Megaman 2 first so thats when I loved it. Then X 1 was the first one I played alot. So thats when I bonded with it. After that me and Megaman were inseparable. I never thought Megaman X was too dark until later in the series. X4 actually, where those fools gets cuts up. But I just accept it as a Teen Megaman.
Zero is absolutely awsome. It was fast, hard, and cool. I never say a game is to hard unless it's unfair(X6) and I don't think Zero is unfair at all. I like Zero's story but I don't love it. I think it's cool.
First Battle Network was awesome. It was this Weird Megaman, Card Battleing, RPG Hybrid. It reminded me of Legends since I always thought it as a Megaman, Zelda, Metriod Hybrid(ofcourse I think of it as it's own game now;these are just my first impressions of the game). But it did get stale after the second one and I think they should of worked on the Random Enconters that where alittle too many for the Maze like areas. This might sound alittle "unmanly" of me but one of the main reasons I've played all the Battle Networks was to see if Lans and Maylu's relationship mature. Ofcourse i was disapointed. Now I just see Battle Network as a Megaman twist on the Pokemon formula. So I don't love it or hate. It's just not my thing.
But whatever. Zeros awesome.

Battle Network has MASSIVE potential if they would just DEVELOP the damn characters. Of course, then people might complain about that, but say what you want, after all that happens in the games the characters remain much the same. Between Legends 1 and Legends 2, there was actually some growth in the characters personalities. Not everyone liked that, but in my opinion it made the characters more believeable.
*realizes the topic title says MegaMan Zero 3*
Yeah, this kinda took a wrong turn. =/ I'm gunna stop here.
For getting Zero 1 and 2, I suggest you check EB more regularly. People come in and sell their used games there, so it's bound to pop up sometime. I don't know if you'll ever find it new, but you might, so keep looking.

To answer your question stallmaster, Mega Man Zero 1 is very hard to find in Canada. I've wanted to buy it for my brother for like 2 years now, but I can't find it. We don't' have gamespot so we're pretty much limited to places like EB, Future Shop and Walmart(unless you're able to buy things off the internet, then I guess you have more options). MMZ2 should be easier to find, but it depends on where you live. I've played MMZ3 and I thought it's difficulty was just right. I used Cyber Elves to help me in that game, but they didn't make a huge difference. And the last boss was ultra tuff, but I beat it! Mwhahahaha! >_>
Now I would like to say I am not a MMBN/X/Zero basher. I basically love BN. I do have problems with X/Zero, but not to the point where I hate the series.
MMX: I don't really like the X series, but I really loved X4. And for some reason I like Command Mission as well. I may not hate the X series, but I have a real problem with how Zero basically stole the spotlight(that's how I feel..he got his own series, stop stealing X's time to shine!).
MMZ: I've only played MMZ2/3. MMZ2 was extremely difficult. At times I wanted to kill the game. It was like impossible for a normal player like me to get higher than a C rank if I just went through the level for the first time. MMZ3 was a lot more fun to play since I was able to get through the levels without dying every 5 seconds.
MMBN: Awww.....I like BN. I like the way the battle system works. It's fun and easy to play. The storyline really gives a reason to play, even if the storyline doesn't go that far. I personally love the brother relationship between Lan/MegaMan(Hub). Now if only they would develop the other characters more....and if they gave Mayl and Yai more important roles. I hate how Mayl is just the girl who's always worried about Lan. They went on one date in the crappiest BN game ever(coughRedSun/BlueMooncough).
