I can answer that. You cant. Only in red can you catch him. But go to the power plant in red. You get Magmar ind blue and hes in the mansion on the island. Oh to get to the power plant go to rock tunnle and surf down. The cheat I have is fly to viridian talk to the old man say no fly to cinnibar island and surf half land half water by the gym and have the item you want to duplicate in the sixth spot. NOTE: you cant do this in yellow

FireRed and Leaf Green have been out for several months already, and yes, GBA format only. This is supposed to be a pointless poll, not a Pokémon help discussion. So, I'm going to post a link that should answer any and all Pokémon related questions before they're asked. www.serebii.net/index2.shtmlThat's Serebii.net, which is perhaps the greatest Pokémon site in existence. From the show, the cards, the games, to the Manga, they cover everything. You can find all of the latest news, and they also have an incredible amount of information such as where to find Pokémon in the different games, what levels they learn moves, which Pokémon can breed with which, how many steps it takes for the eggs to hatch, etc., etc., etc.

Serebii.net, I'm a member of their forums. Yeah, When you need pokemon info, that's your first stop. And their pokedex is amazing!

I'm an expert at pokemon #001-#251, not the others.
I never got ruby or saphire, but I do have FireRed and LeafGreen (Though I beat FireRed, I didn't get pass even the first gym on LeafGreen... maybe 'cause I played it only once), so I don't know much about these pokemon. I have P:Jirachi wish maker and [recently] Destiny Deoxys, but that's about it. I do have an interest with the pokemon's looks, though. Blaziken (Edit: woops... spelt the name wrong) looks cool, so I voted for him.
