Any Earthbound Fans out there? It's a little sadhow I'm a fan of the two most underrated game series ever (EB and MML). Earthbound is just so different from Final Fantasy and other RPGs it's hard not to like it!

Which Earthbound? The only one I played was for the Snes.. I think or was it NES? I don't know but I played it. It was pretty fun for the lack of graphics and dizzying battle scene backgrounds. I liked all the hidden jokes that you have to get by talking to random people or objects.

Well, offically there was only one Earthbound, for the SNES. The series in Japan is called Mother and over there they have Mother 1(NES) and 2(SNES). Mother 1 has not been released (offically) in english, while Mother 2 is Earthbound. You might remember Ness from Super Smash Bros. he was the little kid with the big head and the baseball cap.

I also think that Threads of Fate and Brave Fencer Mushashi are underrated games.
Anyways, YES! I've played it through SOOOOO many times. Earthbound rocks. The only thing I don't like about the game is getting the Sword of Kings.

Eh, I heard rumors of an Earthbound for gamecube... Is there already one and I just didn't know about it?

No, the one for Gamecube fell though and that was the end of it. I used to be a big fan, but it's been years since I played it. That was a great game, especially since you could SEE the enemies coming for you, and when you got really powerful they'd run away, as opposed to Final Fantasy where nothing stops those chipmunks from committing suicide by throwing themselves fruitlessly in your path.
And who says Earthbound is underrated?
