I've never tried actualy drawing with the mouse before. Sprites don't really count because they're pixel by pixel plotting, and honestly, I'd probably have an easier time doing them by just keying in the coordinates. Today I was bored, and putting off studying for finals and I thought to myself, why not try a little mouse drawing. It didn't really turn out that bad, at least I don't think it did. Little doodle of Yuna looked pretty good actually. I did a kinda nyaaah job coloring it, but that's alright. And, well naturally, the background isn't mouse drawn. I couldn't really think of a better background.. I was gonna draw one and make a sig out of it, but I didn't really wanna get into that, so I just slapped a gradient on it. So yeah. Enjoy. I know her hands look awkward, but that's really hard to do on paper, in sprites, and it seems particularly hard with a mouse. >_< So yeah. *sits back and watches topic get completely ignored, like oh so many others*

It's okay. The eyes aren't supposed to be red with a little white, but I'm sure you know that. The hands aren't that awkward, and isn't that band on her arm supposed to be a different color, or have a design on it or something? You could make a sig out of it, or I could have Cutgirl make a sig out of it, if you really want it to be one.
Yeah, I should stop. It's only a 15 minute doodle that really shouldn't get this much criticism, but, oh well.

I actually spent a good deal more than three minutes on it. If it were pencil and paper, it'd be a different story, but doin' that with a mouse for some reason was more time consuming. But yeah, errm... Yuna's eyes are red(see my avatar?; even you should be able to agree with that, it's in the bloody games whose designs you're so intent on favoring even when the beta pictures clearly depict two certain aspects better), and typical anime eyes have the little white spot on 'em. I didn't feel like doing pupils though. Always makes the eyes look strange. I meant to throw the Elysian symbol on the wrist band, but I got lazy. Typically I'd do it in blue, but there's a certain lack of variety about her color scheme then, so I made an acception. I gotta just whip up a vector of that for use all the time... that would really save time, eh... perhaps later.
(Post #200, btw. I'm gonna catch back up, Miss Dashe!)

She looks even stranger with no pupils, though. She looks more like a bug with those eyes. They're supposed to be more like normal eyes, only with red instead of normal pupils. Forget the one or two details, that's over and done with. It's still a nice picture, don't get me wrong, but those are just some things I don't like about it. You're actually kinda good, better then my sister draws her, at least.

Just for you I suppose it looks okay, but I still don't like how it looks. Eyes without pupils.. I regret to say that I got the idea for that style from MegaMan Zero, but I honestly think it looks better with this picture. Cutgirl draws a fine Yuna. Just gotta extend those pigtails a few dozen pixels.

What happened to the white thing around her eyes? I was talking abut that, too! Unless they don't fit on the picture you were making or the perspective you were drawing?

EDIT: Ya know, I got what ya mean now, that's not entirely necessary either though. It really doesn't make that much of a difference.

Not the shine! As morbid as this sounds, imagine what her eyeball would look like, just floating there. You would see mostly white, right? Now, what is missing in that pictre of Yuna's eyes that would be on the eyeball?
EDIT: Nevermind, then. (?)
Like I said, it is a very nice picture. If this is your first time doing this, than it's really impressive, minor problems aside.

I really gotta put Photo Editor back on my computer... Paint sucks for GIF's and loading up Paint Shop Pro takes forever.. >_< Anyway, it's edited in my last post, so yeah.
It's called artistic style, either way. There's not one set in stone style to draw things. I mean, if I were to chibify this picture, would you say the head was out of proportion, even though I clearly stated it was a chibi? Artists can use different styles on things, that's really what I was going for. I don't really think it looks bad with the pupil or with the whites on the eyes, but it's not the style I was going for.

I guess I don't like that style, then. It makes people look like bugs, or something. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but, oh well. I'm just not familiar with this style, then. And, you stated that you doing a diffrent style, so I didn't know about it, and judged it like I would normally judge any picture.

Well looking back at it, the look I was going for typically does have some white in the eyes, but that just doesn't seem to work with this one. =/ Ah well.. I really don't think there's anything wrong with it though. If her eyes weren't red, you wouldn't think she looked like a bug... but they are so yeah.

It would seem that Mega Man characters have a lot of difficulties about them that makes it hard to translate them into fanworks. Roll is an odd name, Both Mega Man and Rock man sound kind of awkward/cheesy, Tron is normally a boys name, and Yuna system members in general have odd traits that make them hard to draw.

Honestly, the Rock and Roll pun is as classic as it gets. I don't know anyone named Tron, and I seriously doubt you do. And all the characters in DASH have unique designs, it's not really hard to draw - though I have no idea how that matters as far as the eyes go. Eyes're eyes. o.o see?

I agree with the first sentence of this quote. The movie Tron had a Male computer program called Tron (I think), so that's where I got it from. The characters in Legends are wonderfully unique, but hard for me to draw, at least. Heck, I can't even draw a human at all very well. They end up looking stringy, like that toy, Betty Spaghetti.

Fine, fine... I'm aware of the movie Tron, but to be fair, you could name just about any computer program Tron, be it male or female. perhaps this picture will be more to your liking?

as usual, the background's not mousedrawn, the rest of it pretty much is. I like this one a bit better. Got a kinda cartoony look about it, or at least that's what I get from it.
I really will do just about anything to avoid studying for finals.. >_<
