Oh dang it, I just realized that I announced my return in the new members thread... Oh well, it did have some relevance there I suppose. XP For those of you checking here though, yes I have returned! Fear not! And well, I guess if anyone's wondering, I had a nice vacation. Shorter and a little different than our usual annual family trip, but enjoyable nevertheless. Nothing spectacular to comment on though, our vacations are more for relaxation than entertainment.

Ahhhhhh!! Technology!!...MMLS!
Well, as you can see I'm finally back from my two week vacation to Nevis, the land with nothing on it. We didn't have a colour TV, but we did have a black and white TV with less than 10 channels(omg like wow!!). TBS and CNN were the only ones I knew of. We had no Internet....and the place did not have a mall. One of my relatives said Nevis/St. Kitts is one of the most expensive places to live in the world. The place really is exspenive......Cereal was 7-25 bucks! And a small souvenir(like a key chain) was 5 US and 10 E.C. I dunno how much that is Canadian but 10 bucks is 10 bucks... So what did I do the whole time? Play my Gameboy Advanced(Shaman King Master of Spirits 2, and Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Protoman)!
And the plane rides weren't so bad....except on the way back we had turbulence on and off for 2 hours and it was a 4 hour flight. >.< I guess I kinda got over my fear of planes but I wouldn't be happy if I had to go one again.
I would have to say it was...a different experience. But going to the beach made up for not having technology. XP
Edit: Oh yeah. And it's good to see other people had good vacations as well.

Glad to hear you had a good time. But really, what is it with vacation spots that lack modern technology? That has always stumped me...at least you had your GBA. Thank goodness for portable gaming.
(I can't swim, so when my parents drag me to places like that, it's DS or nothing...or I could always read...)

I"m back also. My parents sent me to different places this summer, so I haven't had much time to be online, but I should be back to posting.

Think 10 channels is bad? I only have 8. Think 8 channels is bad? We don't have ANY! Actually though, it's not a bad thing, it's a family-wide choice. If you're used to having TV though, I guess being so limited would suck. Anyway, on with the show! There are welcomes to be given! TronBonne, good to have you back again! I must ask though, who in the world came up with the idea of taking 3 planes to get to a vacation spot that has almost nothing to offer, except that it drains your wallet at a fast pace? @_@ Oh well, if the beach was at least fun then all was not lost. Buster Cannon, good to see you too! Um... Well, you didn't write nearly as much as TronBonne did, so it's your own fault I don't have as much to say.

o.o So, I take it any television set in your house is used only for video games then? I think I'd go insane without TV. You can guess how much of a life I have, since I'm here in just about every minute of my free time. Buster Cannon! lol, third time I've said it this week, but I was wondering where you went! ...even though I think you told me a while ago. Good to have ya back!

Thanks for the welcome backs everyone XP
Yeah, thank goodness I had my GBA with me. If I didn't have a Mega Man game with me I would have gone insane.
8 channels? Well at least it's in colour, right?
fab..you have no TV? The horror! And I think we had to take 3 planes because no matter what route we took it would have been 3 planes. I only know of two routes, both of them were 3 planes each. Route 1(the one we took): Toronto > North Carolina North Carolina > Antigua(sp) Antigua > Nevis
Route 2(the one my cousins took): Toronto > Miami Miami > Porto Rico Porto Rico > Nevis
I guess since Nevis isn't a big place not that many airlines bother flying into it. But I have to say the plane from Antigua to Nevis could only fit like..19 people!!
I just remembered that milk was 10 E.C. Now I feel bad that I drank a lot of milk and my mom and dad had t o buy milk a few times... XD

You went to Nevis, and you played Gameboy the whole while... What's wrong with the world ? Ahhh, so there really are people who can live without TV... the legends are true, as they say. That has to be an interesting life. Then again if certian channels went off the air I'd soon be seeing if I could indeed live without it. As for the TV-less vacation spots, places like those are for nature boy here. That's right, I don't usually sound like it but I would thrive in an enviornment like that. Assuming I couldn't rig the TV to pick up some ramdom (illegal) sattelite stations. Knowing me I'd waste the first couple of days trying, then, failing at that, I'd hike out into the wilderness to become one with the earth sky and water. It sounds good, but when the marines get called in to cool me down after I become a demon of Sinai-te-pe (sort of like Illadian in Warcraft III does) things get a little crazy. And don't tell me those were rubber bullets because they weren't, I just had tougher skin! What am I rambling about. Oh, yes, welcome back fab, Tron-whatsyourname, and Buster McOmalley. By the code, you people realize I've been gone almost three months and I'm still fouth on the postings list? What's wrong with the world ? ???Did I already say that?

Oh my! I've missed a lot! First let me just say sorry I haven't been on lately. I just started school and I just had all four wisdom teeth taken out of me -_-. Tron Bonne: WELCOME BACK!!! great even more competition for the caption contest... ANYWAYS.... why would you want to leave Toronto, greatest city in the world?!?! Man, I'd rather take a vacation to Toronto than ANYWHERE, even a tropical paradise (I don't do hot . GO SNOW!). But yes, at least you got to go to the beach and play your GBA! Buster Cannon: Welcome back! I was wondering where you were. We were all so worried . ( ) Dash Myoku: Man, that sucks . I wonder what I'd do if I didn't have the Internet for 3 weeks...... AND WELCOME BACK TO BM1-3 EVEN THOUGH HE SAID HE NEVER LEFT. Well, he never left my heart

I'm in everybodies heart. Me and my buddy Cholesterol... Competing with each other in a race of sorts. You see we're both entities of Destruction (Ka no Sheeva'ee) and Bad Cholesterol wants to clog up your heart to give your a heart attack. Whereas good cholesterol is an all around wet blanket who steals your keys when you've had one too many. As for me, I'm not much of a drinking, one is too much for me. I just never figured out whether it was the fourteenth one or the fifteenth one. I exist to create crazy threads in a hope of extracting some vehement there, maybe even driving the person to go mad with anger on a good day. It's a hard way to go around here, what with the newbies coolin' down and Damage a distant memory, but I still have luck over at the Rage-Anonymous board. Those suckers make it easy.
Sorry about having you're wisdom teeth taken out, that had to suck.

You know what? I completely forgot that many of you existed. Except Tron of course, but that’s only because her captions still haunt my dreams... I can see I’m going to have to cut that hitman’s pay again... But anyway, allow me to greet you all. Everyone seems to go on a vacation at around this time of the year for some reason. It’s so hot. Why would anyone want to go outside? Silly humans...
To Finalhazard: Welcome back! Perhaps we can see you in the RP again some time soon. Not sure where, when, or how you went on this alleged vacation, but I do hope that it was enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe we can see some of these Photoshop skills in the near future.
To Fab: Welcome back! Had I posted earlier, I may have been disposed to kiss up to you in some way, what with three captions still in need of judging, but since that is done with, I guess I’ll just say that I hope you had a glorious trip. Still, I’ve always gone by the philosophy that entertainment = relaxation, but I suppose that would rely on what you consider to be relaxation. Having no television would have made me bleed, but I see you seem to have adapted well. o.o
To TronBonne: Welcome back! Get the heck away from the caption contest! Leave it be! Please, just one more week! Just one, I beg of you! But anyway, why the cost of living would be so high in a place where they have nothing is beyond me. Perhaps they were just going for a record. Personally, after being crammed in a plane unfit to transport two dozen people and getting stuck on some remote island, I would have gone exploring. It just sounds like a book waiting to be written. The beach is nice and all, but I don’t particularly like it. Then again, having never lived more then a couple of miles from the ocean, I suppose I take it for granted sometimes... Anyway, welcome back. Glad to hear you have returned without your fear of planes and with some stronger bones.
To Buster Cannon: Welcome back! Hope you had a good vacation. Perhaps you could tell us about it some time. o.o
To Sir Myoku: Welcome back! Not as if you technically went anywhere, but a vacation is a vacation, eh? And yours was free. Not to mention you didn’t spend an arm and a leg on milk. A blessing indeed.
To Bureaucratic Model 1-3:
XD
XD
I mean... welcome back. Yes. *ahem*
