Well, I'm quite fond of Roll's personality. I wouldn't mind having a girl that cares about what happens to me. Yeah, she can say some pretty obivious things, but she's only trying to help. I honestly don't see a damn thing wrong with that.
Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure Tron would be willing to help Mega Man out in any way, but it's her attitude that gets to me. Yeah, I don't mind it some times, but all the time is just annoying. That's a personal opinion, mind you.
And at any rate, I'm sure we all know that we'll never know who he ends up with. This thread is just to test our personal opinions about the matter.

Tron doesn't care about MegaMan? Long Ago, in a Galaxy Far, Far Away:
Tron: MegaMan? Are you all right? MegaMan: Uhh...Thanks...for your help! Teisel: C'mon, hurry up! He's getting away! MegaMan: Right... Tron: It's not over between you and me! I won't forgive you if you die or do anything stupid like that, so be careful in there, OK!? MegaMan: Right! See you later! Teisel: Don't worry, Tron...If anyone can do it, he can! Tron: I know... |
Personal opinions I can do nothing about, but I always loved that scene there. My (other) problem with (the) Roll (pairing) is that it didn't even come up till Legends 2, and at that point they made it seem almost certain that Tron was an impossibility - as mentioned, she did some pretty nasty things, and then at the same time Roll's all of a sudden into MegaMan. I mean c'mon.. Throughout Legends 1, it seemed abundantly clear that Tron was in love with MegaMan and, Master-willing, the two of them would, through some crazy twist of fate, end up together. That would've had a nice effect. That would've worked. That needn't have been changed. Leave it to Capcom. D'err... I mean, I'm not here. Yes, I'm not here. @_@

That... THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!! THAT'S WHY ROLL LIKES MEGA MAN NOW!! She saw that Tron was being mean to her brother/uncle/ whatever, and atarted feeling sorry for him. Eventually, she found out that she had deeper feelings for Mega Man than she thought she did!

You do know I pretty much just repeated what had been said about a million times over. It's not entirely true though. You can kinda start seeing it in the beginning of Legends 2. It's probably more of a "Roll's all down about it in Legends 2 and MegaMan's the one who tries to cheer her up" sort of deal. You can kinda see it here The Legend Continues:
Roll: MegaMan, thank you! MegaMan: Huh? Roll: Well, I was a little, down before, and... MegaMan: Uh-huh... Roll: I was thinking, what would I do, if they find the Mother Lode...I guess I got a little scared... MegaMan: Scared? Why? Roll: I've been searching for the Mother Lode, because, I thought if I found it, I'd be able to see my parents again. I guess...I was just fooling myself. I've gotta accept reality. Face the facts. They're gone--both of them are gone... MegaMan: Oh... Roll: But still, when you said we should go see, for ourselves, I remembered something my mother told me, a long time ago. She said, a Digger should never give up hope! MegaMan: Right! Roll: My mom, and my dad, and the Mother Lode--I won't! I won't give up on them yet! MegaMan: That's the spirit! We'll find them, Roll! |
But all in all Roll was more concerned about the things Tron said about her than she was anything she did to MegaMan. You can see it in one of her diary entries. TRON BONNE:It looks like that Tron or whatever her name is was saying bad things about me to MegaMan. I'll have to ask him what she said later. |

Uh, how did you do that box thingy with the script? I'm not going to say anything for the Tron/Roll thing for a while... I'm tired of all this arguing.

Arguing? I prefer the term 'intelligent discussion of a back-and-forth nature'.
as for my mock-quote boxes, it's a pretty simple combination.
[blockquote]*Whatever you want the quote title to say, here*:

*quoted text here*

[/blockquote]
Blockquote indents it a bit, like normal quotes and code boxes, the titles are typically in Bold, and then a table creates the actual box. Text goes in the table, close the rest of the tags, and there you go. xD It'd be a lot easier to do if Proboards had a decent system for quoting.

Or the original series for that matter, or through a certain perspective, Battle Network. But either way, a change would've been going from Tron liking him to Roll liking him. Which is exactly what they did.

In the idea of the Rockman Dash 2: Episode One, Megaman might have a liking for Tron. WHY I don't know, but he was the one who created the image in his mind. Roll has pretty much declared her love for Megaman, just not directly to him.
I do like the scene where Tron and Teisel rescue Megaman. It's kind of sweet. And I'd give a thousand bucks to whoever did her voice, it was very well done.
Logically though, Megaman would pick Roll if he had too. The things Tron did to get Megaman on her side were horrible. (Especially if you know about Rockman Dash 2: Episode One) I doubt he'd go with Tron even if she proposed to him. (I certainly hope THAT doesn't happen.)

I've not played Episode 1 myself, but I think the option of going with Tron was intended as a joke option, no? Just like you can say to Amelia in Legends 1 that you won't look through the ruins and all that, but then Barrel just yells at you and you're given the options again. Didn't that end with like, MegaMan shooting his buster all around kinda shattering that little fantasy?
Caroly Larson. Very talented voice actress she is. For all Tron's different emotions expressed in the games, she sure did a wonderful job with them. I'm not quite sure, but I don't believe she's voiced any major roles since Legends, to date. At least that's what her imdb page says anyway. It would be a shame if we were to finally get that Legends 3 we've all been waiting for, and she didn't handle the voice. Shoot, all the Bonnes really - Teisel, Tron, Bon(voiced by Pikachu xD), the Servbots.. great vocal talents.
I don't know why Tron would flat out propose to him, though I don't see anything wrong with it. Believe me when I say worse could happen(you don't want to know my source on that).
sidenote: I know you from somewhere, prototype, don't I?

I suppose then, you'd be The Red Bomber? Throw a "Class S Digger: " in front of my name; ring any bells?
Gah, kinda went off topic there. If post count meant anything I'd feel worse about it, but yeah.. sorry. >_< Back to MegaMan's lady, we go!
Go Tron!
