I am quite fond of Russell, myself. I can't explain it. I just like the idea of veteran Diggers.

This is nice! I really like how you drew Rock. He's adorable.
I look forward to more!

Sure, Teisel may tease his sister about it, but deep down inside, he is touched that she actually took his advice. He's never going to throw that piece of paper away.

Better late than never, I suppose. Anyway, I wanted to start off my art thread with something big, so I threw a comic together. However, I took far too long on it than I should have. Blame my pickiness and the fact that video games distract me too much. Even the name of it is stupid. This is a dumb gag comic featuring Teisel and books. It does have some sexual humor, but nothing really NSFW. Also, have fun pointing out the million flaws I am sure this has. Here is some sketch stuff that I will probably never finish: SD TeiselBonne Family SketchThere will be more in the future, I am sure.

I just finished this not too long ago. Of course, you heard much of my reactions chapter-by-chapter, so this post serves as my overall opinions on the piece.
When I first came to MMLS, I was searching for interpretations of the Bonnes, but most importantly, Teisel. Sure, I knew the canon, but it simply wasn't enough for me. I wanted to know how others viewed him, particularly others who enjoyed him as much as I do. This fic is exactly the kind of character analysis that I needed.
You show Teisel's positives, but also his negatives. You even made him a good negotiator, which was something the games never really got around to showing. Of course, the Teisel in this fic is more serious, but that is understandable, given what he went through. You didn't give a magical 'reset' button, either. No one miraculously came back to life, not even Volnutt. Hell, his little dreamworld didn't last that long either, despite it being nearly perfect. I am sure he would've liked to stay there longer, but his love of the Bright Bats and his good nature urged him to save the people of Terra. Very in-character of him, in my opinion.
Speaking of the Bright Bats... your characterization of them is superb. Honestly, before your fic, I never really cared about them. They were just characters that weren't given a chance to shine, and I haven't really gone through the MML3 devroom material... mostly because it would just make me depressed that we're not getting MML3. However, you made me see their huge potential. A shame you didn't keep Barrett around, as I would've liked to see what he would've done when Teisel came around. I especially like Max and Pic the best.
I really enjoyed the accompanying art that came with the chapters. Surprisingly enough, you made short hair work with Teisel. Truthfully, I'll always love his long, flowing ponytail, but he doesn't look too bad with other hair styles.
My only complaint about the fic is how Tron died. Granted, I don't know much about the details of how she died, but it was made to be like she died quick. However, antifreeze poisoning is anything but quick. Ethylene glycol poisoning happens in stages, and it can take quite a few hours before stage 2 happens. Most of what makes ethylene glycol lethal takes time to form through metabolism. The first symptoms actually look a lot like alcohol poisoning... which would be excused away as Tron getting into Teisel's liquor cabinet. Even then, that would've earned her a trip to the hospital, because I doubt even her Servbots could overlook seizures, confusion, slurred speech, abnormal eye movements, and so on. Even if her Servbots were that stupid, I am sure someone else would've stumbled upon her or looked for her, seeing that she died in the warehouse. She didn't exactly run into a deep cave or ruin to die. (Fun fact: This is why antifreeze is so useful in homicide poisonings: it would seem very suspicious if a person dropped dead suddenly, but a slow and painful death could be covered up to appeal more natural. Most ethylene glycol deaths involve kidney failure, and that could be caused by a huge number of things. This is exactly why they added a bitterant to antifreeze, to make it far less easy to hide in drinks and coffee.)
...Anyway, I would be surprised if I was the first to point this out. It was just that one bit that always bothered me. Maybe I've watched too many true crime shows for my own good. Regardless of that issue, I am honestly thinking of showing this fanfic to a friend of mine who hasn't played Legends yet. It is very well-written and I enjoyed reading every bit of it.

So, the situation as it stands seems to indicate that we shouldn't break out the Jack and Coke just yet, because Capcom's not completely dead. Aw shucks. I was hoping to piss on their grave like I have Konami's. As long as they still own Ace Attorney and Mega Man, I will still hope they don't burn into a fiery mess visible from space. Sure, they deserve such a death, but they have stuff I care about that may disappear forever if they die. (In terms of seeing new content, anyway.) Anyway, I do have high hopes for Ace Attorney 6, but I am not exactly expecting that to help them out much. Hell, it doesn't even get a physical release outside of Japan, much to everyone's dismay.

I honestly didn't expect to win anything, really. In fact, I was worried that no one would get what I was going for in terms of it being written by Tron and all. Thank you for your mercy, judges.
The scenario in my mind was that Tron was encouraged by Teisel to let out her feelings in some way, so she figured poetry was the way to do it. Most people let out their feelings with poetry, right? Hence why her insistence that Teisel shouldn't be shown her "finished project."
Anyway, I enjoyed reading through the other contest entries. I think I like Alfie's best. The perspective of a new fan was an interesting one, indeed.

Honestly, your departure from the original is what makes this so good. You actually show the life-and-death of being a Digger. You turned the incompetent store owner who acted like a scared housewife over tiny snake Reaverbots into someone who looked like they belonged in the ruins. You actually made me anxious for what happens next, despite me playing these games to death. That takes skill to pull off.
I also enjoyed seeing your art improve over time. You're getting better at perspective, details, coloring, and the like. Though more serious, you've kept much of the humor intact. You're fleshing out concepts that the games sorely lacked, and I really do like that.
Maybe one of these times, I can offer more criticism. But as it stands, I can't think of anything to critique on, really.

Question: Does the poetry have to be from our own perspective, or can it be from, say... a character in the games that is emo about the fact that Megaman isn't coming down anytime soon? Because I have an idea.

I snickered at that. Volnutt makes a good chair. Hey guys, I'm back to post more of my art! Mettaton EX/Volnutt Palette SwapThis wasn't done as a serious piece, more of a doodle I just whipped out to see what they'd look like with each others' colours. I love these robots but I think they're better off keeping their own colour schemes from now on. Body SwappedMore Undertale!? Yeah, I gave Volnutt Mettaton's body. Again this is really just for my own sake, because what's better than one cutie? TWO cuties mashed together. I'm a modern day Frankenstein. Technical Difficulties
Okay so here's an ACTUAL good one. Kyle requested that I draw Volnutt piloting the Gustaff, and I drew it, being the lovely person I am. He isn't very good at it, as you can probably tell. Rock looks surprisingly good in Mettaton's palette, especially the pink. And Tron must have a lot of trust to let Volnutt touch the Gustaff. Why do I have a feeling he'll just end up wrecking it anyway, even though he didn't intend to this time? I love the way you drew his hair, by the way. I feel like this next one is long overdue... So I have it on good authority that Dashe is a fan of a certain BIG BOY? Here he is. The biggest boy of all. He's actually pretty darn fun to draw, so who knows, there may be more content in the future. Biggest boy, best boy. His little smile just makes me smile like an idiot, what can I say? Dashe - Of course your 7000th post is about Teisel. I wonder what percentage of your posts are about him.

At this point, it seems to be a futile thing to make an introduction post, since most everyone knows me from the Discord. Better late than never, I guess...?
Obviously, my name is Space Apollo, though you can just call me Apollo. I've been a fan of Legends for well over a decade--in fact, it was my first Megaman game. I am not too huge on the rest of the games, though I have a soft spot for Classic and BN.
In my opinion, what sold Legends to me is the Bonnes. I love them immensely, from their family dynamic to their strong sense of loyalty to one another. I have a huge soft spot for Tron and Teisel... particularly Teisel nowadays. Most of the content I bring to the forums will be centered around them, as they are the ones responsible for bringing back my inspiration to draw after a decade-long art block.
Once I get a finished piece, I'll start an art thread. I am sure a lot of you have seen my sketches already, but I am too picky to just make an thread with just those. Spoiler alert: They're mostly Teisel.

I am quite fond of the clean artwork and coloring, especially the transparent background. The perspective seems to be well done, save for the legs... which are always the hardest part, admittedly. It is a hard pose to draw, but using a real life image as reference does help quite a bit, even if it is just used as a starting off point.
Hopefully he'll make more! (Especially of the Bonnes, but hey, I am biased.)

That troll honestly confused me. Was it a kid with "baby's first troll"? If so, I wonder how he even decided to bother with Megaman, given that it hasn't been "all the rage" with the kiddos in years. Was it some older person pretending to be a younger person? If so, why such weak and ridiculous trolling?
Still, I haven't seen such innocent trolling in years. It's refreshingly charming, really.
